Dort suffered a right shoulder contusion during Tuesday’s win over the Clippers and will not play on Wednesday. Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe and Ajay Mitchell are all worth streaming in deep leagues, even if only one of them (likely Wiggins) will be able to start. Wednesday’s game is the second in as many nights for the Thunder, who took care of the Clippers on Tuesday. As a result, some rotation players, including Caruso, will not play. His absence may lead to legitimate rotation minutes for Brooks Barnhizer and Chris Youngblood, who are both on two-way contracts. Neither is a streaming candidate on an 11-game slate.

While LaVine did play through lower back soreness on Monday, he will not be able to go on Wednesday. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup for Malik Monk, Keon Ellis or Nique Clifford. Despite missing the season’s first five games with a knee injury, Joe has hit the ground running for the Thunder. He notched a season-high 22 points on Tuesday, the second time in three games that he’s scored at least 20. With Jalen Williams (wrist) set to miss more time, Joe is well-positioned to provide deep-league value. He has been a top-50 player over the last week but is rostered in just 13 percent of Yahoo! leagues. And the Thunder play three more games during Week 3, making this a good time to hop onto the bandwagon.

Holmgren, who missed three games with a sprained lower back, played a team-high 30 minutes on Tuesday. While the stat line was modest, he did record three blocked shots. The lingering question is whether he’ll be available for Wednesday’s game in Portland. If Holmgren gets the night off, Aaron Wiggins (12/2/2 with two three-pointers in 26 minutes) may be back in the starting lineup.

Gilgeous-Alexander was outstanding on Tuesday and didn’t need to play at all during the fourth quarter. He’s now scored at least 20 points in 80 consecutive games, the third-longest streak in the history of the NBA. While Gilgeous-Alexander has scored at least 30 points in seven of Oklahoma City’s first eight games, this was his first double-double. With him only playing 29 minutes, fatigue may not be an issue for Wednesday’s game in Portland.

Sabonis has led the NBA in rebounds three consecutive seasons, and a fourth rebounding straight title is a realistic possibility. He grabbed 17 boards against the Nuggets, and the five assists were also valuable for fantasy managers. That will need to be the case moving forward, as Sabonis’ scoring production may slip due to the number of scorers on the perimeter. He’s averaging 14.5 points per game, the lowest for Sabonis since the 2018-19 campaign (14.1 ppg). The decreased scoring and low free-throw percentage are why he’s ranked just outside the top-50 in nine-cat formats.

Interestingly, both starting point guards in Monday’s game, Schröder and Denver’s Jamal Murray, shot 0-of-5 from beyond the arc. While he hasn’t been much more than a late-round fantasy option for most of his career, Schröder has far exceeded the expectations thus far. Playing in Denver for the first time since opting out of the final year of his two-year deal to hit free agency, Westbrook provided the complete “Russell Westbrook Experience” on Monday. Moving into the starting lineup, he was highly productive against the Nuggets, recording a double-double with six assists. However, he was also responsible for six turnovers, including two within 30 seconds late in the fourth quarter, effectively eliminating Sacramento’s rallying chances. The Thunder remained undefeated on the season, and Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with another game of at least 30 points scored — his sixth time going over 30 in the first seven games of the season. Sabonis’s fifth double-double in as many games was his first with at least 20 points. The scoring was the big concern for the Kings’ center regarding his fantasy value for the 2025-26 season. While Sabonis had a Yahoo! ADP of 18, there was reason for concern given how his scoring decreased after the Kings acquired Zach LaVine at the February trade deadline. DeRozan and the Kings rebounded from a slow start to knock off the Bucks in Milwaukee, and their ability to get to the foul line was a factor. DeRozan was one of three starters to make at least eight free throws, and the Kings outscored the Bucks by a 35-20 margin at the foul line. For the season, DeRozan is shooting over 50 percent from the field but 78.4 percent from the foul line.
