Like Victor Wembanyama, Castle had a rough night shooting the basketball. The good news for fantasy managers was that the rebounds and assists were solid, and Castle kept the turnovers (three) in check. While his place in the Spurs’ starting lineup makes Castle a player to roster in 12-team formats, fantasy managers have taken a hit due to his efficiency issues.

Tuesday’s game ranks among the worst in Wembanyama’s two-plus NBA season. In addition to missing all seven of his three-point attempts, the Spurs center was 5-of-14 from inside the arc. Add in the lack of defensive stats, and there wasn’t much to like about Wembanyama’s final line beyond the ten rebounds. He’ll look to bounce back on Thursday against the Jazz.

As a team, the Spurs shot 14-of-50 from beyond the arc. Just imagine what the percentage would have been if Champagnie weren’t 8-of-16 by himself. Once again filling in for the injured Devin Vassell, Champagnie has been a 12th-round player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. While the overall fantasy value isn’t great, Julian should be rostered by managers seeking three-point production while Vassell remains out.

Bryant has only played a small role for San Antonio this season, but he was able to see a bump in minutes in this game, which allowed him to set a new career high for points. Bryant hasn’t made much of a fantasy impact as a rookie, but he holds plenty of upside for dynasty managers. He has elite upside as a defender, so seeing him have a decent scoring night is encouraging. However, this doesn’t make him worth rostering in redraft leagues.

Harper has shown plenty of flashes throughout his rookie season, but he hasn’t had many games where he’s been impactful for fantasy managers, especially as of late. However, the combination of shooting efficiency and counting stats changed that for at least this game. He hasn’t been a reliable option in standard leagues, and the Spurs are too good for him to see a late-season bump, but this game is a good reminder that he is an elite asset in dynasty leagues.

Wemby was once again able to have a monster performance. He has taken fewer three-pointers this season, which has helped his field goal percentage. However, over his last three games, he is averaging 5.3 triples per game, and he set a new season high against Utah. During that stretch, he’s averaging 31.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks to go with the triples while also shooting better than 50 percent from the floor in each game. He’ll look to stay hot in Houston on Tuesday.

Holmgren has been excellent in fantasy hoops this season, but he hasn’t had many big scoring nights like this one. This was only the fourth time he scored at least 28 points in a game, with two of those coming in his first three games. Holmgren dominated the matchup against the Cleveland bigs, and he ranks inside the top 10 in nine-cat value over the past two weeks. He’ll look to stay hot against the Bucks on Wednesday.

SGA didn’t provide his typical dose of boards and dimes, but the defensive production was solid. However, the highlight was his second straight 30-point game, and he shot at least 60 percent from the floor in both. Most of his numbers are down from last season, but his field goal percentage has gone up 2.9 percent, making SGA one of the most efficient guards in the league. That shouldn’t change moving forward, and he’ll look to stay hot against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Jaylin Williams started this game in place of Jalen Williams, who is set to miss time with a hamstring injury. However, Jaylin exited early with a back injury, which resulted in Kenrich Williams starting the second half in his place. If Jaylin were to miss more than just the rest of this game, Kenny Hustle could start against the Bucks on Wednesday. Having totaled 16 points on 5-of-14 shooting in his previous two appearances, Johnson needed a good Saturday night. He answered the call, providing needed production off the bench to help the Spurs avoid losing a game they led by as much as 25. Fox was one of several Spurs players who found production in limited minutes on Thursday. The veteran guard logged just 23 minutes of action, thanks to a comfortable Spurs lead, but still nearly finished with 20 points. Castle needed just 26 minutes of game action on Thursday to secure his first double-double in nearly one month. The second-year guard scored efficiently from the floor, and while he reached double figures in assists, the zero turnovers he committed were perhaps even more impressive. The Spurs dominated the Bucks on the scoreboard on Thursday, limiting Wembanyama to just 22 minutes of game action. Yet, the versatile third-year center didn’t need much time to log a nice stat line. In addition to filling up his stat line, Castle kept the turnovers in check, recording just two in the win over the Lakers. Also crucial to fantasy managers were the second-year guard’s percentages, as he made 60 percent of his field-goal attempts and did not miss a free throw. Castle missed both of his three-point attempts, but that area may come along slowly due to the responsibilities on his plate. In addition to initiating offense, he’s being asked to take on San Antonio’s most challenging perimeter matchup on defense. That’s a lot to ask of a young player, but that hasn’t prohibited Castle from establishing himself as a key player in the Spurs’ rotation.
