Wembanyama is listed as questionable with a bone bruise on his left knee. If he’s ruled out, Luke Kornet could move into the starting lineup as his replacement.

Wembanyama took over as San Antonio’s primary catalyst in the second half, scoring a game-high 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting. The 22-year-old generational talent remains limited from a minutes standpoint as he works his way back from a knee issue, but he’s still delivered some monster fantasy performances off the bench. He’s averaged 22.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.7 blocks in just 24.5 minutes over his last three games since returning from a brief two-game absence. The Spurs close out the week with a road tilt against the Timberwolves before opening up a three-game week against the Thunder and Bucks before a rematch against Minnesota.

Fox eclipsed the 20-point plateau for the first time in three games, falling one rebound shy of his fourth double-double performance of the year. The 28-year-old facilitator hasn’t lived up to expectations from a scoring standpoint in his first full season with San Antonio, but he’s still provided fifth-round fantasy value, averaging 21.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocks through 29 games.

Added to the injury report Friday evening, Champagnie is good to go for Saturday night. He has been Devin Vassell’s replacement in the starting lineup and can provide deep-league streaming value, especially for managers needing three-pointers.

Wallace was one of multiple Thunder players who did not play in Friday’s win over the Grizzlies. His absence factored into Brooks Barnhizer playing eight minutes off the bench, while starter Aaron Wiggins logged 32. Wiggins recently replaced Wallace, who had been filling in for Isaiah Hartenstein, as the Thunder’s fifth starter.

Chet Holmgren joining Isaiah Hartenstein and Jaylin Williams on the sidelines did not push “Kenny Hustle” into the starting lineup, but it did guarantee him more playing time. Williams made the most of his opportunity, recording season-highs in points, rebounds and three-pointers. He’s rostered in less than one percent of Yahoo! leagues, so there weren’t many fantasy managers willing to roll the dice. Williams’ night should only influence the thinking of fantasy managers if the Thunder are just as shorthanded for Sunday’s game against the Heat.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was unavailable for Friday’s game, which led to a spot start for Mitchell. Despite coming off the bench on most nights, the second-year guard has been productive enough to merit being rostered in some 12-team formats, so Friday’s output was unsurprising. Over the past two weeks, Mitchell has offered top-75 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. If SGA remains out for Sunday’s game against the Heat, fantasy managers should not hesitate to stream Mitchell if he’s sitting on the waiver wire.

Playing without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, among others, Friday’s game was one in which the Thunder appeared to be at a serious disadvantage. And they would trail by 21 points during the third quarter, seemingly underlining that assumption. However, Williams and the other available Thunder didn’t accept that, going on a 14-0 run to take the lead in the final minute. J-Dub didn’t score any of those 14 points, but his 26 beforehand helped Oklahoma City stay afloat. The Thunder end Week 12 with a home game against the Heat on Sunday.

The Thunder are without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein for Friday’s game, to name a few of the absentees. Mitchell and Carlson move into the starting lineup, and while the former should already be rostered in some 12-team leagues, the latter is worth streaming in deeper formats.

Dieng, who last appeared in a game on December 10, could be asked to play rotation minutes on Friday. The Thunder won’t have Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein or Jaylin Williams due to injury, so playing time should be available. That said, there’s no need to stream Dieng.

Due to a sore left great toe, Wallace will miss a game for the first time since October 23. After starting five games in place of the injured Isaiah Hartenstein, Wallace came off the bench for the last two, with Aaron Wiggins starting. Wiggins should retain that role on Friday and is worth streaming in fantasy leagues.

Holmgren, who last missed a game on December 22, will not play on Friday due to soreness in both shins. With Isaiah Hartenstein also out, Branden Carlson may be the next man up. Still under a minutes restriction, Wembanyama played 26 minutes off the bench on Wednesday. However, as was proven most recently in Tuesday’s loss to the Grizzlies, he doesn’t need to be on the court long to impact fantasy basketball. Wemby’s final stat line only lacked a three-pointer, and the four blocks were one more than the phenom’s total in prior three appearances. The Spurs hit the road for their next three games, including a back-to-back on Saturday/Sunday against the Celtics and Timberwolves.

In addition to filling up his stat line, Castle kept the turnovers in check, recording just two in the win over the Lakers. Also crucial to fantasy managers were the second-year guard’s percentages, as he made 60 percent of his field-goal attempts and did not miss a free throw. Castle missed both of his three-point attempts, but that area may come along slowly due to the responsibilities on his plate. In addition to initiating offense, he’s being asked to take on San Antonio’s most challenging perimeter matchup on defense. That’s a lot to ask of a young player, but that hasn’t prohibited Castle from establishing himself as a key player in the Spurs’ rotation.

While his category league value is limited due to lackluster defensive production, Johnson is capable of coming through with the occasional big scoring night. The 27 points he scored against the Lakers were the most in a game for the Spurs forward since December 27, when he hit that number in a loss to the Jazz. Even with Johnson averaging 15.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, he has only offered 12th-round value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks.

Williams had a solid outing, functioning as OKC’s main facilitator on Wednesday. He led the Thunder in assists before finishing just shy of the 20-point mark in the overtime victory. Fantasy managers will hope for better shooting going forward, especially from the three-point line, to pair with the current level of playmaking he’s displayed for a second straight season. Finding his rhythm from deep would also help get his overall production up to where it was a season ago.

Holmgren delivered his best performance of the calendar year, putting on a two-way clinic to help end the Thunder’s two-game skid. In his season-high 40 minutes of game action, Holmgren led his team in blocks, was the only OKC player to collect double-digit rebounds, and finished as one of two to score at least 20 points. Struggles from the free-throw line and from beyond the arc prevented him from finishing with greater scoring totals. Still, he had an impactful night and should be in line for another good outing on Friday against the Grizzlies.

Gilgeous-Alexander was exceptional in the overtime win, going for 40-plus points for the first time since November. He scored efficiently after a couple of bad shooting performances, which helped OKC end a two-game losing streak. The Thunder has struggled in recent weeks, having lost six of its last 12 games prior to Wednesday’s contest. Realistically, this could be a time when Gilgeous-Alexander tries to single-handedly will his team through this rough patch, which is good news for those fantasy managers who have him rostered.

Gilgeous-Alexander is good to go after initially being questionable for Wednesday’s game. Wembanyama was a force inside the paint and also knocked down 3-of-6 from three-point range in his return to San Antonio’s lineup following a brief two-game absence due to left knee soreness. The 22-year-old generational talent came off the bench in this one and fantasy managers should anticipate the Spurs putting a governor on his workload as he continues to deal with lingering physical issues. The limited opportunities haven’t prevented him from making a significant fantasy impact of late as he’s averaging an absurd 27.6 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.8 blocks in five games over the past two weeks.

Champagnie came out of the gate on fire, knocking down four three-pointers to finish the opening stanza with a game-high 15 points. He was relatively quiet over the final three quarters but still managed to break the 20-point barrier for the third time in his last four games. The 24-year-old guard is worthy of a speculative roster spot in all fantasy formats based on his recent production but there’s some regression looming based on his track record since he’s in the midst of an insanely hot run from a shooting standpoint.
