Nurkić was a surprise DNP on Wednesday despite having played 30 minutes on Monday. He had previously missed two games with a toe injury, but the Jazz are alternating giving players days off as they try not to win too many games. With Lauri Markkanen (illness) out again on Thursday, there’s a good chance that Nurkić could return to the starting lineup, which would cut into Kyle Filipowski’s minutes.

Filipowski was one of four Jazz players to score in double figures on Wednesday, with his nine-point third quarter giving him nearly half of his scoring total, while his seven rebounds for the game tied a team-high. Filipowski has had an unspectacular sophomore season as a part-time starter. He’ll have a chance to build on Wednesday’s performance on Thursday against the Mavericks.

George had a strong performance on Wednesday, hitting the 25-point mark for the 22nd time this season and falling one assist shy of a double-double. He continues to struggle with his three-point shot, however, which is one of the very few things that haven’t worked in his favor during his career-best season. Nonetheless, George remains one of the most improved players in the NBA this season and has been a productive guard across fantasy basketball leagues.

Sensabaugh was sensational against the Bulls on Wednesday, draining five three-pointers en route to the first 40-point game of his career. His night started quickly, scoring 21 points on 8-of-9 shooting in the first quarter alone. He then scored 11 more points over the next two periods before doubling that amount in the fourth to nearly lead the Jazz to victory. Sensabaugh has now scored 25 or more points in two of his last three appearances. He’ll have a chance to log another productive outing on Thursday against the Mavericks.

Lauri Markkanenis unavailable for the Jazz, while Jusuf Nurkić is available off the bench. The good news is that Ace Bailey is back in the starting lineup for the first time since December 26. Also joining the lineup are Collier and Filipowski. Get used to the Jazz rolling out lineups like this the rest of the way, as their 2026 first-round pick is top-8 protected (Oklahoma City gets it otherwise).

This one served as a microcosm of the Gilgeous-Alexander experience as he shook off an ice-cold first quarter to put together a 16-point third quarter where he drilled 5-of-8 shots, including a pair of three-pointers, and got to the line five times during that span. The reigning NBA MVP, who was back in the lineup following a one-game absence earlier this week due to a minor ankle issue, is averaging 31.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.7 blocks through 38 games, delivering top five overall fantasy value. Sensabaugh’s offensive performance was the lone bright spot for the Jazz in Saturday’s 150-95 defeat. Scoring isn’t an issue for the third-year wing, but he has offered minimal value outside of points and three-pointers. Over the past two weeks, Sensabaugh has an eight-cat value ranked outside the top-150. Plus/minus is an imperfect stat, but Williams made the kind of history that no player wants on Saturday. His rating of minus-60 was the worst in league history (spanning 30 years of play-by-play data). Chet Holmgren joining Isaiah Hartenstein and Jaylin Williams on the sidelines did not push “Kenny Hustle” into the starting lineup, but it did guarantee him more playing time. Williams made the most of his opportunity, recording season-highs in points, rebounds and three-pointers. He’s rostered in less than one percent of Yahoo! leagues, so there weren’t many fantasy managers willing to roll the dice. Williams’ night should only influence the thinking of fantasy managers if the Thunder are just as shorthanded for Sunday’s game against the Heat.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was unavailable for Friday’s game, which led to a spot start for Mitchell. Despite coming off the bench on most nights, the second-year guard has been productive enough to merit being rostered in some 12-team formats, so Friday’s output was unsurprising. Over the past two weeks, Mitchell has offered top-75 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. If SGA remains out for Sunday’s game against the Heat, fantasy managers should not hesitate to stream Mitchell if he’s sitting on the waiver wire.

Playing without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, among others, Friday’s game was one in which the Thunder appeared to be at a serious disadvantage. And they would trail by 21 points during the third quarter, seemingly underlining that assumption. However, Williams and the other available Thunder didn’t accept that, going on a 14-0 run to take the lead in the final minute. George had a relatively average game production-wise, finishing with fewer than 20 points for only the 12th time this season and less than two three-pointers for the 11th time.
