Isaac has been on the injury report for all three games in this series and was ruled out of the first two. Even if the 28-year-old power forward is available for Game 3, don’t expect him to play much at all on Saturday.

Banchero’s production on Wednesday wasn’t as spectacular as Sunday’s in the series opener. However, the former first-overall pick pieced things together throughout his 34 minutes, ultimately leading to a solid stat line. He shot inefficiently from the field and struggled greatly at the charity stripe, but still finished as one of Orlando’s top scorers in the game. Banchero also contributed on the glass and as a passer before the final horn sounded. The Magic will go home for Game 3, where Banchero could be poised for a bounce-back performance.

Wagner was one of many Pistons players to struggle on the offensive end; he shot poorly from the field, failed to make a three-pointer, and had more turnovers than he had assists. Decent production at the free-throw line ultimately helped him sneak into double figures as a scorer, but otherwise, the majority of his success came on defense in this game. Wagner led all players in steals on the evening in his 32 minutes, but he will look for a more balanced effort in Game 3.

Suggs led the Magic in scoring on a night that he accounted for over one-quarter of the team’s made field goals. He shot inefficiently, especially from beyond the arc, but made contributions as a rebounder and facilitator to help round out his final stat line. Suggs and the rest of the Magic will need to shoot much better in Game 3 than the 33 percent they tallied on Wednesday. Perhaps the familiarity of the home rims could help them get back into rhythm.

Isaac’s continued absence does not affect the Magic rotation, as he has not appeared in a game since March 12. At this point, it’s fair to wonder if he’ll play at all this series, given the time missed.

Isaac was questionable for Game 1 before being ruled out. The 28-year-old power forward hasn’t played in over a month due to a sprained left knee. Now doubtful for Game 2, Isaac is unlikely to play at all in this series.

Carter was one of Orlando’s most efficient players in Sunday’s win. In 37 minutes, he tied a team-high in assists, doing so without committing a turnover. Additionally, the veteran center missed just one of his nine shot attempts, was one of the team’s leading rebounders, and chipped in defensively with two stocks. Carter’s number wasn’t often called, but he seemed to always make a play when the situation called for one. He’ll have a chance to land strong production again in Wednesday’s Game 2.

Wagner was fairly quiet offensively through the first three quarters of Sunday’s contest, having totaled just eight points on 2-of-8 shooting. Yet, he served as Orlando’s closer. In the fourth quarter alone, the fifth-year forward consistently attacked the rim and ultimately converted all five of his field-goal attempts, scoring 11 of the Magic’s 31 points in the frame. Wagner ended as the team’s second-leading scorer on the evening and was one of five Magic players to log at least four assists. He was effective and timely in the victory, which is what Orlando hopes he can duplicate in Game 2.

Banchero rode the hot hand into Sunday’s performance and delivered another fine offensive outing in Game 1. As a result of efficient shooting, the former first-overall pick led Orlando in scoring and was the only one to reach the 20-point mark, even without tallying any points in the fourth quarter. Still, his scoring contributions through three periods helped the Magic build and mostly maintain a lead from start to finish. He also chipped in as a passer and came within one rebound of a double-double. Banchero played a strong game on Sunday and has Orlando in position to potentially steal two games on the road to open the series.

Miller shot the ball efficiently and had a great three-point shooting performance on Friday. However, he was responsible for five of Charlotte’s 16 turnovers, and was just one of several Hornets to find difficulty on the offensive end. A blowout loss ultimately limited Miller to 29 minutes in the season-ending loss. Nonetheless, he put together another solid fantasy season in Year 3. Perhaps a jump could come in his fourth season.

Bridges struggled with his three-point shot in the season-ending loss. However, his success inside the arc and at the charity stripe helped him finish as Charlotte’s second-leading scorer on the evening. Bridges didn’t contribute in many other areas, however, and a bad team performance prevented this contest from being competitive through the final horn. He ends his seventh NBA season with averages of 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. His fantasy production slipped this season, as did his overall numbers.

While Ball shot more efficiently from the field on Friday than he did in Wednesday’s win, the end result was a blowout, season-ending loss. He scored well from beyond the arc and concluded as the only Hornets player to reach the 20-point mark. Additionally, Ball was Charlotte’s only player with more than two assists. The sixth-year guard’s scoring numbers took a hit this year as his minutes decreased. Yet, he logged 72 regular-season games and proved he could stay healthy. Ball should be in line for a similarly productive 2026-27 season from a fantasy basketball standpoint.

Carter was nearly perfect from the floor in his 27 minutes on Friday, with two of his six makes coming from beyond the arc. The veteran center also made contributions on the glass, especially on the offensive side, where half of his boards came from. A blowout victory for the Magic limited Wagner to only 25 minutes of game action on Friday. Still, he made good use of his time on the floor by posting one of the more balanced performances on the team. Nearly half of the fifth-year forward’s points came from the charity stripe, with the rest falling inside the arc, before eventually finishing as Orlando’s second-leading scorer. He also tied team highs in assists and rebounds, highlighting his well-roundedness for the evening. Wagner and the Magic will have just a short amount of time to get ready for Sunday’s opening-round Game 1 against the Pistons.

Banchero led all Magic players in scoring during his 33 minutes of game action on Friday, which was complemented by solid playmaking for his teammates, and good activity on the defensive end. The efficient double-digit scoring performance was a nice response to a difficult outing against the 76ers on Wednesday. But with the Play-In Tournament in the books, Banchero starts with a clean slate against the first-seeded Pistons of the Eastern Conference. Game 1 will take place on Sunday.

This certainly wasn’t the performance the Magic were hoping to get out of their star player. Banchero and Franz Wagner combined for just 30 points in the loss, though Banchero’s inefficiencies stuck out. He also shot 7-of-22 and had six turnovers in the regular season finale on Sunday. They’ll need him to be much better against the Hornets on Friday to keep their season alive.

With the rest of the Magic healthy, Black hasn’t been able to contribute as much since returning to the lineup after missing nearly a month with a core injury. However, he was able to provide some offense in this game, and he may be asked to do more on Friday. Franz Wagner appeared to injure his left leg late in the game, though it’s unclear if that will impact his status for their play-in matchup with the Hornets. If Wagner is sidelined, Black will take on extra minutes and could step into a starting role.

Wagner played 29 minutes, which was the most he has played in a game since December. However, that wasn’t the main story. Wendell Carter Jr. ran into Wagner with about 70 seconds left in the game, and Wagner came up hobbling and grabbing his left leg. It’s worth noting that he suffered a left knee injury a week prior to this, but he didn’t end up missing any time because of it, and that it was his left ankle that caused him to miss so many games this season. Head coach Jamahl Mosley didn’t have an update after the game, but there should be one before Friday’s play-in matchup with the Hornets.

The foul has also been upgraded to a flagrant, but the main takeaway here is that LaMelo will be available for Friday’s play-in matchup with the Magic. That will be another win-or-go-home game for them, so having their star point guard serving a suspension would’ve put them at a massive disadvantage. That won’t be the case, which will give them a chance to return to the playoffs for the first time in a decade.

The Magic gave up a haul of first-round picks last summer for Bane to provide this type of performance in the season. Unfortunately, the rest of this team was a mess, so it wasn’t enough for them to get the win and advance to the playoffs. Still, Bane was fantastic in this game, leading both teams in scoring. They’ll head back to Orlando to host the Hornets on Friday, with a chance to face the Pistons in the first round on the line. They’ll certainly have a good chance in that game if Bane is able to carry some of this production into that game.

Wagner played 26 minutes in the season finale, which was the most he has played in a game since mid-January. He hasn’t played 30 minutes in a game since early December. He missed over half of the season with an ankle injury, but now that it’s the postseason, he’s going to play more minutes. Wagner’s minutes will still be managed, but any extra minutes he can give will give the Magic a better chance to win.

In his first taste of the postseason, Miller delivered a well-rounded performance to help Charlotte keep its playoff hopes alive. The third-year forward was one of three Hornets players to score at least 20 points in the night, as he tied a team-high five three-pointers. Miller also made contributions on the glass and as a passer, while recording a couple of blocks to round out a very balanced effort. Bridges was exceptional on both ends of the floor during Tuesday’s contest. In his team-high 43 minutes, he did lots of damage from beyond the arc, but also had his share of buckets inside the three-point line. The veteran forward also battled on the glass and nearly amassed a double-double. But perhaps his biggest moment came in the closing moments of the game when he went up and blocked Davion Mitchell’s game-winning shot attempt to keep the Hornets’ season alive. Ball struggled from the field on Tuesday but made the shot that counted the most. Down by one point with under nine seconds to play, he caught the ball at the top of the arc, drove right, and finished a contested layup to give the Hornets the lead and ultimately the win. Ball had missed 19 of his 30 shot attempts prior to the go-ahead bucket that will keep Charlotte’s season alive. The sixth-year point guard tallied double-digit assists to go along with his 30 points. Bane got the start and played the first six minutes to officially play in all 82 games. After that, he sat the rest of the game, which allowed Tristan da Silva to play a larger role and start the second half. Well, that was the plan at least. Orlando likely expected to beat the Celtics’ backups easily, but that didn’t end up happening. Bane played the entire fourth quarter to try to bring the Magic back, but it didn’t end up being enough, even if it was close. Wagner had his second straight 20-point game, which was also his second time reaching that mark in over four months. He’s still getting used to being back out on the floor, but having him healthy and producing ahead of the postseason will give them a chance to survive the play-in tournament. Wagner was excellent early on this season, but a left ankle sprain derailed his season. Still, they’ll have a chance to beat anybody with their roster finally healthy.

While he only played 16 minutes on Sunday, White was effective in those moments. The Hornets guard shot 60 percent from the field overall and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. White’s ability to provide scoring off the bench will be critical in the Play-In Tournament, which the Hornets will begin on Wednesday with a home game against the Heat. Ball finished Sunday’s victory with a complete stat line, but the efficiency was somewhat lacking. A 5-of-16 night from beyond the arc lowered the overall field-goal percentage, and he was also responsible for five turnovers.
