Josh Giddey wasn’t the only Bull the Knicks struggled to corral on Friday, as Chicago scored a season-high 132 points and shot 53.6 percent from the field. Vučević was one of three Bulls to score at least 22 points in the nine-point victory, which Chicago led by 22 at the half. The 26 points are the most he’s scored in a game since the season opener, when Vooch dropped 28 on Detroit. As surprising as Vučević was in fantasy basketball last season, he’ll go into Chicago’s final game of Week 2 (Sunday at New York) providing top-20 value in nine-cat formats.

While it may be challenging to justify rostering Dosunmu in 10-team leagues once Coby White returns from injury, he’s definitely worth having in 14-team and even some 12-team leagues. Ayo had a stellar performance on Friday, surpassing the 20-point mark for the second time in three games and dishing out a season-high nine assists. However, it’s important to note that Dosunmu entered Friday with seven total assists, so that part of the stat line was likely an outlier. He’s rostered in 21 percent of Yahoo! leagues and would be worth a roll of the dice in deep leagues ahead of Sunday’s rematch with the Knicks in New York.

With Philadelphia losing to the Celtics on Friday, the Bulls are the lone remaining undefeated team in the Eastern Conference. Giddey had a lot to do with Chicago’s move to 5-0. After four solid performances, he was spectacular against the Knicks, who could not find an answer for the guard defensively. Giddey shot 4-of-8 from three and 57.1 percent from the field overall, and he finished one assist shy of a triple-double without committing a turnover. He’s providing top-75 value in nine-cat formats, below his Yahoo! ADP of 28. More nights like Friday will help close that gap.

Da Silva has reached double figures in four of Orlando’s first six games, with Thursday’s output being his best. The second-year wing is in a challenging spot to provide consistent fantasy value, as he backs up Franz Wagner, but he can be helpful in certain matchups. Da Silva played well against the Hornets, and Saturday’s game against the Wizards could be another spot where he offers sneaky deep-league value.

While Carter has grabbed at least eight rebounds in five of his six games played, the offensive production has been limited. Having scored between eight and 10 points in Orlando’s first five games, WCJ had his best night of the season against the Hornets. He established season-highs in points and three-pointers while shooting 66.7 percent from the field. However, while this was a solid effort, Carter’s production before Thursday suggests that this won’t become the norm. Especially with Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane ahead of him in the pecking order. Carter remains a deep-league option only.

The Magic were without starting point guard Jalen Suggs on Thursday, as the game was the team’s second in as many nights. While Tyus Jones (five points, one steal and one three-pointer in 14 minutes) started the first game that Suggs missed, Black was tabbed to fill the void on Thursday, taking on the task of defending LaMelo Ball. While solid defensively, the third-year guard had his best offensive night of the season, scoring 20 points and shooting 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero handled most of the playmaking for the starters, but this did not negatively impact Black’s production. Suggs should be back for Saturday’s game against the Wizards, but the Magic had to be encouraged by what they saw from Black.

Banchero and the Magic ended their four-game losing streak on Thursday, with the star forward finishing one rebound and one assist shy of a triple-double. The lone negative for him was the foul shooting, with Paolo making just two of his six attempts on the night. Free-throw percentage and turnovers have lowered Banchero’s value in nine-cat formats, but fantasy managers shouldn’t be too concerned with the season being just over one week old.

Coming off the bench, Dosunmu was able to provide a scoring punch for the Bulls, especially in the fourth quarter, where he scored 10 of his 21 points. Dosunmu has been solid off the bench this season, averaging 16.7 points and 3.0 three-pointers in 26.7 minutes per game. Banchero did his best to help Orlando mount a second-half comeback effort, but they were unable to come all the way back, slashing the deficit to two points with just over six minutes left before the 76ers pulled away for good. The 22-year-old burgeoning superstar scored 17 of his 32 points in the first half on 5-of-7 shooting to go along with six free throws.
