Desmond Bane finished with just eight points (3-of-8 FGs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and one three-pointer against the Celtics on Sunday.

Bane got the start and played the first six minutes to officially play in all 82 games. After that, he sat the rest of the game, which allowed Tristan da Silva to play a larger role and start the second half. Well, that was the plan at least. Orlando likely expected to beat the Celtics’ backups easily, but that didn’t end up happening. Bane played the entire fourth quarter to try to bring the Magic back, but it didn’t end up being enough, even if it was close. Bane has had a fantastic first season in Orlando, and he’ll be back to playing his usual role against the 76ers in the play-in tournament on Wednesday.

Franz Wagner finished with 20 points (7-of-18 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, one steal and two three-pointers against the Celtics on Sunday.

Wagner had his second straight 20-point game, which was also his second time reaching that mark in over four months. He’s still getting used to being back out on the floor, but having him healthy and producing ahead of the postseason will give them a chance to survive the play-in tournament. Wagner was excellent early on this season, but a left ankle sprain derailed his season. Still, they’ll have a chance to beat anybody with their roster finally healthy.

Paolo Banchero recorded a triple-double on Sunday with 23 points (7-of-22 FGs, 9-of-11 FTs), 10 rebounds, 11 assists and six turnovers in a 113-108 loss to the Celtics.

The good and the bad of what Banchero can do in the box score were on full display in this game. He recorded a triple-double, but he was really inefficient about doing it. He had been playing efficiently over the last few games, but he wasn’t able to keep it going in this one, which snapped their five-game winning streak and dropped them to eighth in the East. Banchero will have to be more efficient in the play-in tournament against the 76ers on Wednesday in order to advance to the playoffs.

Tobias Harris had 24 points (9-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, one assist, three steals and four three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Pacers.

The Pistons had already clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, but earned their 60th win in the road victory. While Harris and the Pistons have their eyes set on the postseason, the power forward is turning 34 this offseason and set to hit free agency.

Paul Reed had 26 points (11-of-11 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks in the Pistons’ 133-121 victory over the Pacers on Sunday.

Reed started and played 22 minutes with Jalen Duren (knee) out Sunday. The 26-year-old center had another excellent game filling in for the Pistons’ All-Star big man. Reed literally didn’t miss. His ability is an open secret, but fantasy managers will have to wait until Reed has a starting role of his own for his fantasy stock to truly ascend.

Jett Howard (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Celtics.

Howard sprained his ankle during an April 3 game against the Mavericks and has not played since. His absence does not significantly affect the Magic rotation, especially with Franz Wagner and Tristan da Silva available.

Jonathan Iaac (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Celtics.

Isaac’s continued absence won’t significantly impact the Magic rotation, as he has not appeared in a game since March 12.

Jalen Duren (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.

Duren is the lone Pistons regular on the injury report for Sunday’s regular-season finale, even though Detroit’s playoff seeding won’t be affected by the outcome. Isaiah Stewart is available, but most of Duren’s minutes may be absorbed by Paul Reed, as Beef Stew only recently returned from a strained calf.

Jett Howard (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Celtics.

Injured during an April 3 win over the Mavericks, Howard has missed Orlando’s last four games. His availability does not significantly impact the team’s wing rotation now that Franz Wagner has returned from his ankle injury.

Jonathan Isaac (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Celtics.

Isaac has not appeared in a game since spraining his left knee during a March 12 game against the Wizards. If he’s available for Sunday’s season finale, the veteran forward will give the Magic another option to work with in the frontcourt.

Paolo Banchero had 14 points (5-of-10 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one three-pointer in Friday’s win over the Bulls.

Banchero could’ve probably had a triple-double if he played a few more minutes. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old power forward led the Magic to victory over the Bulls as he was +21 in 27 minutes. He had 14 points on 10 attempts from the field, nine rebounds and seven assists. Banchero and the Magic didn’t have the year they’d hoped for this season, leading to him providing 11th-round per game value.

Franz Wagner had 25 points (8-of-13 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), two rebounds, four assists and three three-pointers in the Magic’s 127-103 victory over the Bulls on Friday.

Wagner played only 23 minutes, but was very efficient with 25 points on 13 attempts from the field. Injuries limited the 24-year-old small forward to just 33 games this season, so it’s certainly a positive to see him finishing out the season healthy and productive. Orlando will close out the regular season on Sunday against Boston.

Duncan Robinson had 19 points (6-of-11 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and three three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Hornets.

The Pistons played their starters and though Robinson only played 26 minutes he was efficient. The 31-year-old small forward had 19 points on 11 attempts from the field, which included going 3-of-7 from behind the three-point line. Robinson had a solid year with the Pistons and was useful to fantasy managers in deeper formats.

Cade Cunningham had 14 points (7-of-13 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), two rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block in Friday’s win over the Hornets.

Playing for the second time since returning from a collapsed lung, Cunningham had a very similar game to his return against the Bucks on Wednesday. The 24-year-old point guard had 14 points on 13 attempts from the field and played 28 minutes. When Cunningham is completely healthy, he regularly plays over 30 minutes and takes over 20 shots per game. The Pistons are still taking it easy with their superstar, which is probably wise with Detroit already having clinched the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Jalen Duren had 20 points (8-of-11 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds and four assists in the Pistons’ 118-110 victory over the Hornets on Friday.

Duren led the Pistons with 20 points in the win. The 22-year-old center was one rebound shy of a double-double. Detroit already clinched the first seed in the Eastern Conference, but still rolled out its starting lineup. They all played less than 30 minutes, though. Duren is finishing strong, providing fifth-round per game value over the last two weeks. The Pistons wrap up the regular season on Sunday against the Pacers on the road.

Kevin Huerter (illness) is available for Friday’s game against the Hornets.

Upgraded to probable earlier Friday afternoon, Huerter is good to go. The Pistons now have a clean injury report for Friday’s game. And with the team locked into its playoff seeding, they won’t have to ask Huerter to do too much on Friday or Sunday.

Huerter sat out Wednesday, but he’s on track to take the court against Charlotte. Huerter could handle an elevated workload Friday and for the Pistons’ final game on Sunday as Detroit has already secured the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Huerter did not play in Wednesday’s win over the Bucks, with his absence coinciding with Duncan Robinson’s return. With Detroit knowing its seed for the playoffs, head coach J.B. Bickerstaff could decide to go deeper into the bench for the team’s final two regular-season games.

Jett Howard (ankle) is out for Friday’s game against the Bulls.

Howard will miss a fourth consecutive game on Friday as he deals with a sprained left ankle. His continued absence will not significantly impact the Magic rotation.

Ron Holland amassed 18 points (6-of-10 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Bucks.

Holland was one of seven Pistons to score in double figures on Wednesday, with the 18 points being the most he’s scored in a game since the season opener against Orlando (19). With Detroit knowing that it will be the top seed in the East when the playoffs begin next weekend, there may be additional opportunities for Holland to score in the team’s final two regular-season games. If so, he may offer added value to those competing in active fantasy leagues.

Jalen Duren accumulated 21 points (8-of-9 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists and one block in Wednesday’s win over the Bucks.

With the Pistons grabbing control of Wednesday’s game during the second and third quarters, Duren only needed to play 28 minutes against the Bucks. The All-Star center finished one rebound shy of a triple-double, and he’s scored at least 20 points in 33 games this season. By comparison, Duren had four such games last season. At a minimum, he’s on the shortlist of the most improved players in the NBA this season.

Isaiah Stewart (calf) finished Wednesday’s win over the Bucks with eight points (3-of-3 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs) and one rebound.

Back in the Pistons’ rotation after a 13-game absence with a strained calf, Stewart played 11 minutes off the bench on Wednesday. He didn’t miss a shot against the Bucks, and while the rebounding production was underwhelming, Beef Stew’s mere presence on the court makes a difference for the Pistons. Paul Reed played 10 minutes, finishing with 10 points, three rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot. Wednesday’s game was one the Pistons won comfortably, which likely impacted Stewart’s minutes. But the focus is on ensuring he’s sharp for the playoffs, which begin on April 18.

Cade Cunningham (lung) accounted for 13 points (6-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s win over the Bucks.

Cunningham recorded a double-double in his first game back from a lung pneumothorax that sidelined him for 11 games. More important was the playing time, as he logged 26 minutes without incident. The Pistons have games on Friday and Sunday to end their regular season, so Cunningham will have opportunities to sharpen his skills against competition. However, with the Pistons locked into the top seed in the East, Daniss Jenkins will still play solid minutes in those remaining games. Jenkins finished Wednesday’s victory with nine points, five rebounds, six assists and one three-pointer in 21 minutes.

Desmond Bane accounted for 18 points (7-of-13 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s win over the Timberwolves.

After scoring 25 points or more in three consecutive games, Bane was limited to 18 on Wednesday. However, he shot the ball efficiently and tied for the team lead in assists as part of a complete stat line. Bane has played consistently well recently, which is precisely what he and the Magic wanted heading into the postseason.

Franz Wagner (knee) tallied 17 points (7-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two assists, one block and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s win over the Timberwolves.

Wagner shot the ball well on Wednesday, but of greater concern for him and the Magic was his third-quarter left knee injury. The good news is that Franz returned to action later in the quarter, finishing with 22 minutes played. However, given the amount of time he missed due to the high left ankle sprain suffered in early December, the last thing the Magic needed was to see Wagner injured again. It would be unsurprising if his minutes remained limited for the final two games of the regular season.

Paolo Banchero finished Wednesday’s win over the Timberwolves with 20 points (8-of-11 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, one steal and one three-pointer.

Banchero led seven Magic players in double figures on Wednesday, with the victory moving Orlando to within a game of Toronto in the loss column for sixth place in the East. The top six teams avoid the Play-In Tournament, which could be critical for the Magic given the recent returns from injury for Franz Wagner and Anthony Black. Orlando has two more games to play in the regular season, starting with the Bulls on Friday.

Jalen Suggs, Desmond Bane, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. will start Wednesday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Wagner is back after sitting out Monday’s win over the Pistons. His return means that Tristan da Silva will come off the bench.

Kevin Huerter (illness) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.

Huerter will miss Wednesday’s game due to illness after playing 32 minutes on Monday. Duncan Robinson is back after missing Monday’s loss to the Magic, so he’ll absorb the minutes that went to Huerter.

Cade Cunningham (lung) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.

After an 11-game absence, Cunningham is good to go for Wednesday’s game. His minutes are likely to be managed, as the Pistons are locked into the top seed in the East. These final three games will be about Cunningham shaking off the rust ahead of the playoffs. Daniss Jenkins will head to the bench, but he will remain in the rotation. The Pistons will have their regular starting lineup, with Ausar Thompson, Duncan Robinson, Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren completing the quintet.

Isaiah Stewart (calf) is available to play on Wednesday against the Bucks.

After missing 13 games, Stewart’s return comes with three games left before the NBA playoffs. For the Eastern Conference’s first-seeded Pistons, the short runway to the postseason gives Stewart a few games to return to form as a defensive presence in the interior. He’s averaging 10.0 points and 5.1 rebounds as well, while starting 13 of his 55 games this year.

Wendell Carter Jr. (nose) and Jamal Cain (calf) are available for Wednesday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Carter and Cain are good to go after being listed as questionable on the initial injury report. The former will take on his usual duties as the starting center, while the latter may pick up some rotation minutes off the bench.

ESPN’s Vincent Goodwill reports that Cade Cunningham (lung) is expected to play in Wednesday’s matchup with the Bucks.

Cunningham will return after a lengthy absence, but his minutes may be managed. Detroit has a winning record with its star point guard sidelined, and Detroit has the No. 1 seed locked up. The Pistons have the luxury of easing Cunningham back into action, so if you’re playing fantasy hoops, you should hang onto Daniss Jenkins.

Cain, who suffered a left calf contusion during Monday’s win over the Pistons, played 11 minutes off the bench before exiting. His absence would not significantly impact fantasy basketball, as Franz Wagner and Tristan da Silva are available.

Wednesday’s game will be the third that Howard has missed with a sprained left ankle. Franz Wagner and Tristan da Silva are available, so the Magic will have the depth needed to account for Howard’s continued absence.

Carter suffered a fractured nose during Monday’s win over the Pistons, with the injury limiting him to 18 minutes. If he can’t play on Wednesday, Goga Bitadze is the likely replacement in the starting five.

Caris LeVert (knee) is not on the injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.

LeVert will return on Wednesday after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Magic. Chaz Lanier, who struggled in 16 minutes of action the last time out, is likely to fall out of the rotation entirely.

Isaiah Stewart (calf) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.

Stewart is closing in on a return to action after having last played on March 13. It would be optimal for him and the Pistons to get in some game action before the playoffs. Paul Reed may lose out on some playing time, but it’s highly unlikely that Beef Stew would take on a full workload immediately.

Robinson did not play in Monday’s loss to the Magic, with Kevin Huerter logging 32 minutes as his replacement in the starting lineup. Huerter will head to the bench, but his playing time may not take a severe hit with the Pistons locked into the top seed in the East.

Tobias Harris (knee) is not on the injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.

Harris is back after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Magic. Paul Reed moved into the starting lineup, playing 19 minutes. With Harris available, Reed will head back to the bench.

Cade Cunningham (lung) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.

Cunningham continues to progress after suffering a collapsed lung in a March game against the Wizards. The 24-year-old point guard was listed as doubtful before being ruled out Monday against the Magic, so his questionable status for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks represents progress. Daniss Jenkins will start again if Cunningham is ultimately ruled out.

Pistons converted Tolu Smith to a standard contract.

Smith, who was on a two-way contract, has appeared in 14 games as a Piston, including 13 this season. While the 6-foot-11 forward/center can provide added insurance in the frontcourt, Smith is unlikely to play much during the playoffs. However, he could see extended action during the final week of the regular season if Detroit decides to rest its rotation post players.

Jalen Suggs recorded a double-double on Monday with 12 points (4-of-9 FGs), six rebounds, 12 assists, three steals, one block and two three-pointers against the Pistons.

Suggs has been a fantasy stud when healthy all season, but he has added a new element to his game recently. This was his fourth straight game with at least eight assists, and he set a new career high for dimes in this one. Of course, he still contribute value across the board, just as he has all season. Utilizing Suggs as a playmaker just makes Orlando even more dangerous entering the postseason. He’s currently averaging career highs in assists and steals, and he’ll continue to stuff the stat sheet as the regular season comes to a close.

Desmond Bane lit up the Pistons with 25 points (9-of-17 FGs), three rebounds, one assist, two steals, three blocks and four three-pointers on Monday.

Bane has been on fire during Orlando’s three-game win streak, averaging 26.3 points, 2.0 steals, 1.3 blocks and 3.3 triples per game. His first season in Orlando go off to a shaky start, but he has been a fantasy stud during the second half of the season, which has helped the Magic stay afloat despite numerous injuries. With three games left until the postseason, Bane’s continued hot shooting will be pivotal to Orlando’s chances of avoiding the play-in tournament.

Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 31 points (10-of-16 FGs, 10-of-10 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, three steals and one three-pointer in a 123-107 win over the Pistons on Monday.

This type of performance from Banchero was great to see. He was incredibly efficient, which led to Orlando’s third straight win. He had a double-double on Sunday, but before that, he had a four-game stretch where he averaged just 12.3 points. This is the type of player they’ll need him to be if they want to make any noise in the postseason. Banchero has improved as a free throw shooter this season, which was on full display in this game. He still has holes in his fantasy game, but he’s certainly capable of filling up the box score.

Anthony Black returned to the lineup on Monday and finished with 14 points (4-of-11 FGs), one rebound, two assists, two steals and one three-pointer against the Pistons.

In his first game since March 7, Black was limited to just 15 minutes off the bench. He had no problem being aggressive on offense with 11 shot attempts and seven free throw attempts during his time on the floor. Black would have been a candidate to win the Most Improved Player award if he hadn’t missed so many games over the past month. Still, he’ll be a pivotal piece for Orlando entering the postseason now that they’re the healthiest they’ve been since the beginning of the season.

Javonte Green provided a boost off the bench with 17 points (6-of-13 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, three steals, two blocks and three three-pointers against the Magic on Monday.

Green didn’t get the starting nod with Tobias Harris (knee) sidelined, but he started the second half of this game in place of Paul Reed. He played 27 minutes to Reed’s 18 and was far more productive. Detroit has already locked up the top seed in the East, so Harris could get more rest days this week, which may lead to more minutes for Green. He has been a solid rotation piece for them, but he hasn’t had many games as productive as this one.

Kevin Huerter started on Monday and contributed 17 points (7-of-14 FGs), three rebounds, five assists, four steals and three three-pointers against the Magic.

With Duncan Robinson (hip) sidelined for this game, Huerter got the starting nod in his place. This was his third start since being traded to Detroit, and he has been excellent in all of them. Robinson will be the starter when this team is healthy, but Huerter is proving that he can be a valuable option off the bench, or as a starter, for the Pistons during the playoffs. He was traded from Chicago ahead of the trade deadline, and now he’ll be an important piece of a contending team.

Wendell Carter Jr. (neck) is doubtful to return to Monday’s game against the Pistons.

Carter has been listed as doubtful to return with about six minutes left in this game. Goga Bitadze is in the game to close things out, though Moritz Wagner may also see an uptick in minutes if Carter ends up missing more time beyond this.

Jamal Cain (calf) is doubtful to return to Monday’s game against the Pistons.

Cain isn’t expected to return to this game after suffering a left calf contusion. He contributed three points, two rebounds and one assist in 11 minutes. If Cain is forced to miss time moving forward, his minutes will likely be split between Franz Wagner, Anthony Black and Tristan da Silva.

Daniss Jenkins, Kevin Huerter, Ausar Thompson, Paul Reed and Jalen Duren will start against the Magic on Monday.

Detroit will roll out a two-big starting unit for this game, with Reed starting in place of Tobias Harris (knee). Huerter also joins the starting unit with Duncan Robinson (hip) out for this game.

Jalen Suggs, Desmond Bane, Tristan da Silva, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. will start against the Pistons on Monday.

With Franz Wagner (ankle) sitting out the second leg of this back-to-back, da Silva will return to the starting unit for one game. He has been productive as a starter this year and should continue to produce in a larger role in this game.

Caris LeVert (knee) will not play on Monday against the Magic.

LeVert’s absence will leave the Pistons without a proven scorer off the bench. JaVonte Green, Ron Holland, and Kevin Huerter could all see increased opportunities to produce from a fantasy standpoint with LeVert sidelined.

Isaiah Stewart (calf) has been ruled out against the Magic on Monday.

Stewart was initially ruled out for this game but was upgraded to doubtful Monday afternoon. He has now been ruled out again. Paul Reed will continue to fill out the backup center minutes, though Stewart appears to be getting closer to a return.

Tobias Harris (knee) has been ruled out against the Magic on Monday.

Harris was downgraded to doubtful earlier in the day, so his absence isn’t a surprise. Javonte Green will likely fill the void in the starting unit.

Cade Cunningham (lung) has ben ruled out against the Magic on Monday.

As expected, Cunningham won’t suit up against Orlando, but the initial doubtful tag is an indication that he could be getting closer to a return. With the playoffs start in less than two weeks, that is a good sign, even if he doesn’t play again during this regular season. Daniss Jenkins will continue to start until Cunningham is back.

Anthony Black (core) is available to play against the Pistons on Monday.

Black was ruled out for this game at first but was upgraded to questionable earlier in the day and has now officially been cleared to suit up. He’ll likely play a limited role off the bench, which will prevent him from making much of an impact on the box score. However, it is good news for Orlando with the postseason starting next week, with this being the healthiest they’ve been in a while. Jevon Carter will likely play a smaller role with Black back.

Anthony Black (core) is now probable for Monday’s game against the Pistons.

After missing Orlando’s last 16 games with a left lateral abdominal strain, Black is on track to return on Monday. If he does play, that would mean fewer minutes for Jevon Carter. That said, managers in active fantasy leagues should anticipate Black’s minutes being limited.

Initially ruled out for a 17th consecutive game, Black is now questionable to play on Monday. If available, his playing time is likely to be limited, as the Magic guard has been out for a month.
