Shams notes that “recent tests showed that he requires additional time and rehabilitation for soreness in his left high ankle sprain. The Magic will evaluate Wagner’s progress in three weeks.” With the NBA and fantasy basketball seasons drawing to a close, a three-week timeline for re-evaluation puts serious doubt on Wagner’s availability after he is cleared and begins ramping back up. This is a massive blow for Orlando and Wagner’s fantasy managers. Anthony Black should continue to soak up minutes, and he should be rostered everywhere. Black has made the most of his new opportunities and is enjoying a breakout campaign.

Giannis has been sidelined since straining his right calf for the second time this season during a January 23 loss to the Nuggets. At the time, he set a four-to-six-week timeline, and the former league MVP is on the right path. “I feel like the break doesn’t help, because now I gotta get on the court, I gotta play some 1-on-1, 3-on-3, 5 vs. 5,” Antetokounmpo said Saturday. “Players are on vacation right now, so it’s kinda hard for me to do that. “So once I check all those boxes, I’m ready to go. I feel like I can play a game today.” Giannis has made it clear he will play again this season. And the Bucks’ wins over Orlando and Oklahoma City heading into the All-Star break likely sparked optimism about the team’s chances of earning a playoff berth once they get their star forward back.

Portis showed again Thursday why he leads all active bench players in double-doubles with 15 points and 12 rebounds in the win over the Thunder. The 31-year-old small forward seems to be over his hip injury. With the All-Star break approaching, Portis and the Bucks are off until Friday, February 20 against the Pelicans.

Dieng has struggled to produce or see minutes consistently this season, but has flashed a high-ceiling in the last two games. The 22-year-old small forward followed up a 17-point performance in 23 minutes in the win against the Magic on Wednesday with a full stat line in the win over the Thunder on Thursday. Dieng had 19 points and was just four assists shy of a triple-double while also contributing on the defensive end with a steal and four blocks. He also made three three-pointers. The Bucks deciding to keep giving him more minutes could lead to more games like this in the future.

Kuzma returned from a calf injury earlier this week, only to find himself back on the injury report with a foot injury. Initially listed as questionable for Thursday’s game against the Thunder, Kuzma was ruled in. He had 15 points, seven rebounds and two assists in Wednesday’s win over the Magic.

Rollins is set to miss his second consecutive game with right foot plantar fasciitis. With the 23-year-old guard out Wednesday against the Magic, Cam Thomas stepped up and dropped 34 points in the victory. Thomas could be in for another big performance with Rollins out, though it’s a more difficult matchup as the Thunder lead the league in defensive efficiency.

Rollins sat out Wednesday’s matchup with Orlando, but he’s got a chance to return for the second leg of Milwaukee’s back-to-back set. This wasn’t an efficient shooting night for Suggs, but it was certainly a productive outing. He recorded at least 10 assists for the third time in his last seven games and continued to be a defensive stat monster. Over his last four games, he has averaged 4.0 steals and 2.5 blocks per game. Health has been an issue for him, but Suggs is a fantasy beast when he’s on the floor. He’ll look to keep that going after the All-Star break.

Bane got off to a scorching hot start to this game, scoring 15 points on five triples in the first quarter. He ended up matching his career high for three-pointers in a game, though he only three more over the final three quarters, which wasn’t enough for Orlando to get the win. Still, Bane has scored at least 20 points in four straight games entering the All-Star break and will look to pick up where he left off after some time off.

KPJ’s play dwindled in January, but his first four games back after missing time with an oblique injury have been excellent. He has averaged 21.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game, which has helped the shorthanded Bucks remain competitive. As long as Giannis Antetokounmpo remains out, KPJ should be productive as a high-usage player, and he was able to record his second triple-double of the season in this game.

Thomas only played 13 minutes against Orlando on Monday, but he took on a larger role in the rematch and was far more productive. His role dwindled over the final weeks of his Nets’ tenure, but in his second game with Milwaukee, he had his highest-scoring game since October. If Thomas is able to continue to play this well after the All-Star break, he may be able to secure a long-term deal this summer and be a strong option for fantasy managers down the stretch.

Dieng’s first game with the Bucks was just a five-minute in a blowout loss, and he wasn’t able to do much. However, his role expanded in his second game with the team, and he set a new career high for three-pointers in a game. He’s still only 22 years old, and he holds plenty of upside. He could end up playing a larger role for the Bucks over the final two months of the season, which could lead to more productive outings like this one.

Sims was part of a bigger starting unit for the Bucks with Ryan Rollins (foot) sidelined, and that strategy worked out well for the Bucks. He recorded a double-double and didn’t miss a shot on his way to setting a new career high for scoring. It was also enough for the Bucks to get a win. They play again in Oklahoma City on Thursday, and if Rollins remains out, Sims should be in line for another start.

One day after his signing was made official, Thomas made his Bucks debut. As was the case in Brooklyn, he came off the bench, playing 13 minutes. The production wasn’t there, but the Bucks do have two more games before the All-Star break. After totaling 52 points and attempting 32 shots in his final two games of January, Turner has recorded 11 shots or fewer in each of his last five. The good news for fantasy managers is that the Bucks center can offer solid value in other categories, most notably blocks. However, Turner’s production has also tailed off in that category since the calendar flipped to February. He’s totaled eight blocks in five games, six fewer than his total in Milwaukee’s final three games of January. Hopefully, Turner finishes the pre-break portion of the schedule with another good night in the blocks category on Wednesday against Orlando.

Having made at least four three-pointers in four straight games, Green has knocked down 20 in Milwaukee’s first five contests of February. While he shot 1-of-5 from beyond the arc, Porter was highly efficient inside of it on Monday. In addition to shooting 9-of-14 from two, the Bucks’ guard attempted a team-high seven free throws. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) out, even more of the offense runs through Porter and Ryan Rollins (14 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two three-pointers). With Franz Wagner under a minutes limit in his first game back, Black remained in the starting lineup on Monday. And, as has been the case throughout the season, the third-year guard was a star. Black led the Magic with 26 points and recorded a complete stat line. Over the past two weeks, he has offered second-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats according to Basketball Monster. Just a few days after being waived by the Nets, Thomas has reportedly found a new home. While a player capable of putting up big scoring numbers, the guard has not shown much ability to make plays for others or defend consistently. Porter Jr.'s second game back from injury was even more impressive than his first. He flirted with a triple-double while leading Milwaukee in scoring along the way. Poor three-point shooting on Friday was about the only blemish, which is a notable one, as he’s now gone 0-of-13 from deep over his last four appearances. Rollins extended his streak of 20-point games to four on Friday, utilizing the three-point shot to land most of his scoring production, while joining Kevin Porter Jr. and Bobby Portis as the only Bucks players to reach the 20-point mark against the Pacers. Rollins has played many different roles and been cast into a variety of starting lineups this season, but has remained productive through it all. The Bucks secured a third straight win on Friday, with Portis’ scoring playing a key role. In his return from a two-game absence, he finished as one of three Bucks players to score at least 20 points, as he used efficient shooting to reach his high point total. After coming off the bench in his first game back from an oblique injury on Wednesday, Porter is in the starting lineup. He fills the void left by the recently traded Amir Coffey, who’s now in Phoenix. The other change is Sims, who is promoted into the starting lineup, pushing Kyle Kuzma to the bench.
