After knocking down five three-pointers and scoring 19 points in Wednesday’s win over the Hornets, McBride duplicated that performance two nights later. A starter in each of the Knicks’ last three games, Deuce has hit double figures in four of his last five. With Landry Shamet (shoulder) out for at least four weeks and OG Anunoby (hamstring) also out, McBride may be locked into the starting lineup for long enough to merit being streamed until the latter returns. The Knicks end Week 6 with a home game against the Raptors on Sunday.

On a night when Karl-Anthony Towns (9/10/4/0/1 with one three-pointer) and Jordan Clarkson (6/4/3) combined to shoot 4-of-21 from the field, Hart stepped up and gave the Knicks important offensive production. The move back into the starting lineup has been great for the versatile wing, who has totaled 41 points over the last two games. We’ll see what happens when OG Anunoby returns from his hamstring injury, but it may be more likely that Miles McBride returns to the bench than Hart.

Brunson has consistently tormented the Bucks, averaging 36 points per game since joining the Knicks. With that in mind, Friday’s performance should have been expected from the point guard, who led New York to the top spot in East Group C and a place in the NBA Cup quarterfinals. He’s scored at least 33 points in three of his last four games and has been close to a top-25 player in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past week. The Knicks host the Raptors, who they’ll visit in the NBA Cup quarterfinals, on Sunday in a non-Cup matchup.

After Jalen Suggs (14/4/1/4/1 with two three-pointers) made two free throws with just over six seconds remaining to push the Magic lead out to three, Black made the play that clinched a spot in the NBA Cup quarterfinals. His rejection of a Duncan Robinson three-point attempt sealed the victory, and the third-year guard continues to make strides. Black didn’t shoot the ball well from the field, but fantasy managers still received solid value due to the overall line. Rostered in 21 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has provided 10th-round value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Suggs has also been excellent for category league managers, but his availability is what keeps Black on the radar in some 12-team leagues.

Wagner has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four and 15 of his 20 appearances this season. With Paolo Banchero (groin) out, the Magic have looked to Wagner more often, and on most nights, he has been up to the task. He finished Friday’s victory just a three-pointer and a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line, but managers will benefit from the points, rebounds and steals. The Magic play four games during Week 7, beginning with the Bulls on Monday.

Interestingly, while Bane scored a season-high 37 points, he did not make a single three-pointer. The Magic guard missed all five of his attempts, but he shot 65 percent from inside the arc and was a frequent visitor to the foul line. All that was missing from Bane’s stat line was a three-pointer, and the overall production compensated for that. Over the past two weeks, he has been close to a top-25 player in nine-cat formats, rebounding from a slow start to the season. Orlando, which advanced to the NBA Cup quarterfinals with Friday’s victory, won’t play again this week. But the Magic have four games during Week 7.

Fantasy managers can count on Bridges for efficient scoring and complete stat lines, which has been quite the departure from his first season with the Knicks. He didn’t make any three-pointers on Wednesday, but that doesn’t matter much when you record five “stocks” as Mikal did. He’s still providing top-10 value in nine-cat formats and shouldn’t be considered a “sell-high” candidate given his overall production and durability.

Making a second consecutive start, McBride had one of his best performances of the season in Charlotte. He shot 5-of-5 from beyond the arc, with the 19 points being six shy of his season-high. With Landry Shamet (shoulder) out for at least a month, McBride will be a key figure for the Knicks, whether he starts or comes off the bench. From a fantasy standpoint, he’s more valuable as a starter than as a reserve.

Despite Mitchell Robinson (five rebounds, one assist, three steals and one blocked shot in 17 minutes) returning from an illness, Knicks head coach Mike Brown decided to stick with Hart and Miles McBride in the starting lineup. The move paid off, with Hart scoring 19 first-half points in his best offensive performance of the season. He didn’t do a whole lot after halftime, but the damage had been done. To say Hart managers will take the final stat line he recorded on Wednesday would be an understatement. We’ll see if Brown sticks with the same lineup on Friday when the Knicks host the Bucks.

Needing a comfortable victory to increase their chances of advancing to the NBA Cup quarterfinals, Brunson and the Knicks beat Charlotte by a 129-101 margin. The captain has scored at least 27 points in all four games he’s played since returning from an ankle injury, including two games with 33. Wagner didn’t have to extend himself too far on Tuesday, as the Magic were able to sit their key players for most of the second half. Over the past two weeks, he has been a sixth-round player in nine-cat formats, with the production being slightly lower than Wagner’s season-long value. Orlando grabbed control of Tuesday’s game with a 51-point second quarter, and Black was in the middle of it all. He would finish with his first career 30-point game and sat out most of the second half due to Orlando pushing its lead out to 46 points. After struggling in Saturday’s loss to the Magic, Towns was much better in the penultimate game of the Knicks’ five-game road trip.
