DeRozan’s 12 free throws were the most he’s attempted in a game since March 15, when he put up 21 attempts in a win over the Jazz. Also, Wednesday’s game was the first in which he’s made multiple three-pointers since January 6, so fantasy managers will be pleased with that bonus. The Kings don’t have a back-to-back to worry about for their final two games of Week 23. Hopefully, that means DeRozan is guaranteed to be on the court playing starters’ minutes.

Back in the rotation after sitting out Sunday’s loss to the Nets, Monk played 29 minutes off the bench in Toronto. The final stat line was a solid one, and the veteran guard is capable of providing good value in the Kings’ final two games of Week 23. As long as Monk is hitting the high-20s in minutes, he’s worth rostering in 14-team leagues, and some 12-team formats as well.

Achiuwa was outstanding on Wednesday, grabbing a season-high 19 rebounds and recording his 11th double-double of the season. By comparison, he recorded 12 double-doubles in his previous two seasons combined. The Kings’ frontcourt injuries have opened the door for Achiuwa, and on most nights, he’s taken advantage. Sacramento plays two more games in Week 23, starting with the Pelicans on Friday.

While the rebounds and assists were solid, Banchero’s overall performance on Wednesday was disappointing. The Magic forward attempted nine shots from the field, the fewest in a game for him since December 23. As well as Banchero played in Tuesday’s win over the Suns, the inability to sustain that production factored into Orlando getting blown out by the Hawks.

Carter’s 14 points were the most among Magic starters, with Jamal Cain (17 points, one rebound and two three-pointers) doing his damage off the bench. Carter has reached double figures in scoring in 11 of his last 12 appearances, and he’s been more consistent as a rebounder as well. As a result, the Magic center has been a top-100 player over the past three weeks. With Orlando playing two more games in Week 23, Carter would be worth a look in some 12-team leagues if he’s sitting on the waiver wire.

Available to play for the first time since February 11, Wagner logged 20 minutes as part of the Magic starting lineup. The rust was most evident in his perimeter shot, with Wagner missing all six of his three-point attempts. Tristan da Silva, a fixture in the starting lineup while Wagner was out, played 23 minutes off the bench and finished with nine points (2-of-5 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, six assists and one steal. Wagner, who last appeared in a game just before the All-Star break, is officially available for Wednesday’s game. He was used in a reserve role the last time he returned after an extended absence, so Tristan da Silva could remain with the starters for another game. Wagner hasn’t played since before the All-Star break and has only suited up four times since Dec. 8. Reports from Tuesday indicated that Wagner has progressed to 5-on-5, and it appears that he could be making his return against Atlanta. If he is back, Tristan da Silva will likely head back to the bench, though Wagner did come off the bench and played limited minutes in his two most recent appearances, so da Silva could maintain the role if they choose to do the same thing. Orlando is currently eighth in the East with seven games remaining in the regular season. Having Wagner healthy for the postseason will make them a difficult matchup for anyone.

Banchero wasn’t the only Magic player to perform poorly in the 139-87 loss, but it’s nearly impossible to win a game when your star struggles this badly. He missed all five of his three-point attempts and shot 33.3 percent from inside the arc. Banchero, who played 30 minutes, finished with more turnovers (five) than made field goals (three) in a brutal finish for Paolo and the fantasy managers rostering him. After playing 36 minutes on Thursday in his return from an illness that sidelined him for two games, Suggs played 26 minutes on Sunday. The nature of the game was the reason, as Orlando was on the wrong end of a 139-87 defeat. In addition to allowing the Raptors to shoot 57.4 percent from the field, Orlando made just 37.8 percent of its attempts in the 139-87 defeat. Bane was the most productive of the Magic’s five starters, but that rings hollow when you lose by 52 points.
