Banchero struggled with his shot in Monday’s loss to the Hawks, but he was able to get back on track in this one, even if the end result was another loss. With Trae Young (quad) sidelined, Carrington moved into the starting unit and ended up having arguably his best offensive performance of the season. He set a new season high for scoring and matched his season high for three-pointers in what was a far more efficient outing than what he typically delivers. With Trae Young (quad), Bilal Coulibaly (heel) and Julian Reese (inactive), Carrington, Champagnie and Gill will enter the starting lineup. While Bane and Jevon Carter (13/3/2/2 with three three-pointers) shot a combined 6-of-13 from beyond the arc on Monday, the other Magic players were a combined 8-of-30. Combine that with Nickeil Alexander-Walker going off for 41 points, and it’s easy to see why Orlando’s seven-game win streak came to an end. Since the All-Star break, Bane has provided top-10 value in nine-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster. After a slow start to the season, he has been everything the Magic hoped he would be when they acquired Bane from the Grizzlies in the summer.

While Carter’s rebounding output took a hit on Monday after corraling at least eight in his three prior outings, he extended his run of double-digit scoring nights to four. Rostered in 37 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the Magic center has provided seventh-round value since Orlando began its seven-game win streak on March 5. Fantasy managers, especially those in points leagues, will be thankful that Banchero was able to get to the foul line consistently in Monday’s defeat. The Magic forward shot 2-of-11 from inside the arc, torpedoing his overall field-goal percentage. The final tally was boosted by 11 points scored at the foul line, but there was some value to be had in Banchero’s rebounds, assists and blocked shots. Coulibaly finished Monday’s defeat with his fourth 20-point game of the season, and he was highly efficient in doing so. Shooting 45.2 percent from the field, the Wizards’ wing has provided 10th-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. The good news for fantasy managers was that Johnson reached double figures after totaling 10 points in his prior two appearances. The bad is that he only played 23 minutes, and the rookie has not exceeded 25 since returning from a sprained left ankle that sidelined him for six games in early February. Sarr finished with four points (1-of-9 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, two steals, one block and one three-pointer. Young departed for the Wizards’ locker room late in the third quarter of Saturday’s game and did not return. Whether that was due to injury or simply the play for the point guard is unknown. Washington plays five games in Week 21, but Young will likely be available for three at the very most. One game removed from being on the wrong end of a historic performance by Miami’s Bam Adebayo, the Wizards bounced back with a solid effort in Orlando. Coulibaly, whose banked-in three-pointer with five seconds remaining in regulation sent the game into overtime, led the way. His 29 points were a career-high, with the Wizards’ wing recording a complete stat line.
