Jones’ 23 points were the most he’s scored in a game in over two months. With the ball being in Josh Giddey’s (nine points, six rebounds, nine assists, one block and two three-pointers) more often than not, Jones’ assist potential is somewhat limited. However, his improved scoring ability has compensated for that. As a result, Jones is worth rostering in some 12-team leagues going into the Bulls’ final three games of Week 23.

Having scored 20 points or more in three of his last four games, Sexton continues to play quality minutes off the bench. He logged 27 minutes on Monday and has met or exceeded that number in three straight. Given the run that he’s currently on and the Bulls’ unwillingness to pull the plug, Sexton has value in 14-team leagues. The only negative is that while the Bulls play three more times in Week 23, each game will be played on a day with at least nine games scheduled.

Limited to 16 minutes in a spot start on Saturday, Miller returned to the bench on Monday. And the Bulls forward enjoyed a career night in San Antonio, finishing with his first 20-point game. The Bulls, who have three more games in Week 23, are playing out the string, which means more opportunities for Miller on most nights.

With Tyrese Maxey, Paul George and Joel Embiid all available the last two games, Edgecombe has taken a back seat scoring-wise. Of course, this is an unsurprising development, considering the pedigree of the 76ers’ three veteran leaders. On Monday, Edgecombe shot the ball well and provided solid value in assists and steals. Continuing to do so will be critical for his fantasy value in the 76ers’ final games of Week 23.

Embiid has scored at least 26 points in all three games he’s played since returning from a strained oblique that sidelined him for a month. Just as nice for fantasy managers has been the playing time, with the 76ers’ center playing 34 minutes on Monday, two less than his tally in Saturday’s win over the Hornets. As long as Embiid is healthy, fantasy managers rostering him will be in good shape.

After two stellar performances in his first games back from a 25-game suspension, George cooled off a bit on Monday. He shot 3-of-7 from inside the arc, a bit worse than his 47.5 percent mark from two on the season. Maxey did not shoot the ball well in the 76ers’ first game of Week 23, but the overall production compensated for that. In the two games he’s played since returning from a finger injury, the 76ers’ point guard has totaled 14 rebounds, 17 assists, one steal, three blocks and five three-pointers. Embiid’s ability to get to the foul line was a factor in Philadelphia’s comeback victory, as he shot 10-of-13 from the stripe. Add in what the former league MVP was able to do within the flow of the offense, and this was a good end to Week 22 for those rostering Embiid. Philadelphia’s four-game Week 23 includes a back-to-back, so managers may only have Embiid for three games. On a night when backcourt partner Josh Giddey (5/7/11) had a rough night shooting the basketball, going 1-of-11 from the field, Jones did his best to pick up the slack.
