Embiid was previously listed as out, so this change in status means he’s got a chance to return following a nine-game absence. If he’s cleared to take the court, Embiid will surely see limited playing time, and fantasy managers should confidently stream Adem Bona regardless of Embiid’s status.

Adebayo has recorded double-doubles in two straight and three of his last four games. With Tyler Herro now in the mix, increased rebounding may be what keeps Bam’s fantasy value where managers hoped it would be before the season began. Over the past two weeks, he has been a top-75 player in nine-cat formats. That doesn’t align with his Yahoo! ADP (32), and it could be difficult for Adebayo to reach those heights. He’ll look to prove otherwise, starting with Monday’s game against the Clippers.

Herro shot the ball well from beyond the arc, making six of his 11 attempts. However, what could have been an even bigger night was short-circuited by a 0-of-6 effort from inside the arc. Herro shot better than 69 percent from two in his first two appearances of the season, so fantasy managers should not be too concerned. The Heat open a four-game Week 7 on Monday against the Clippers.

Like Andrew Wiggins, Powell bounced back on Saturday after a subpar performance in Wednesday’s win over the Bucks. However, to be fair to Norman, that was his first game back from a strained groin that kept him out of the previous contest. He looked healthy against the Pistons, and he’s scored at least 25 points in nine games this season. So far, the inclusion of Tyler Herro has not been an issue for Powell, which is good news for fantasy managers.

After shooting 4-of-11 from the field in his first game back from a hip injury, Wiggins looked much sharper on Saturday. Shooting nearly 67 percent from the field, he recorded his first 30-point game of the season, and there was also value to be had in the rebound, assist and steals categories. With Tyler Herro and Norman Powell in the fold, Wiggins’ rest-of-season fantasy value may take a hit. However, he’s still providing top-100 value, so managers in 12-team leagues should look to sell high if possible. The Heat play four games in Week 7, starting with the Clippers on Monday.

McCain has looked more comfortable by the game, with Friday’s performance being his best of the season. The second-year guard has scored at least 15 points in three straight games, with Friday’s being his first 20-point outing. Death, taxes...and Tyrese Maxey leading the way for the 76ers. The star point guard recorded another excellent stat line, even if it did not include a 30-plus point effort. George was back in the starting lineup after missing Tuesday’s loss to the Heat, pushing Justin Edwards (4/0/1/2 with one three-pointer in 16 minutes) to the bench. While he played only 21 minutes, George was efficient with his time on the floor. He shot 60 percent from the field and was a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Back in the 76ers’ rotation after missing five games with a sprained ankle, Bona took on a role that was more prominent than any expected before Friday’s game. Andre Drummond exited during the first half with a right leg injury, and while the severity is unknown, he required a wheelchair to reach the locker room. Powell’s return from a one-game absence was an unspectacular one. He logged 29 minutes and recorded his lowest scoring total of the season, failed to make a three-pointer, and shot only 36.4 percent from the field. Wednesday also marked Powell’s first game alongside Tyler Herro, who recently made his season debut while Powell was out with a groin injury. How the two high-scoring guards play alongside one another will be fascinating from a fantasy basketball perspective. Nonetheless, the Heat captured their sixth straight win.

Adebayo scored at least 17 points for the fifth straight game on Wednesday. He needed only 29 minutes of game action to record double-digit rebounds, which led him to his sixth double-double of the season. The veteran center has produced solid numbers in his return from a toe injury and continues to be one of the Heat’s most relied-upon players. As long as he’s healthy, he’ll remain a productive fantasy basketball player who is a nightly double-double threat.

Herro, after scoring 24 points in his season debut on Monday, was even more impressive against the Bucks. He shot the ball efficiently again and got to the free-throw line consistently to nearly reach the 30-point mark by the game’s conclusion. He was also very involved as a facilitator on Wednesday, after not tallying any against the Mavericks. One game removed from scoring a season-high 15 points against the Heat, McCain matched that number on Tuesday. It wasn’t enough to help the 76ers remain competitive, but it was another step in the right direction for the second-year guard. The 76ers were outscored in the second quarter by a 51-25 margin, putting Tuesday’s NBA Cup matchup out of reach. If there was a silver lining for Philadelphia, it’s that they were able to get Maxey some extra rest, even though he still played 32 minutes. Adebayo finished Monday’s game as one of four Heat players to score in double figures — despite not shooting well from beyond the arc, he utilized the free-throw line to find his scoring production. The veteran forward’s shooting has been inconsistent since returning from injury on November 19th, but he has consistently hovered around 20 points on a nightly basis.
