Grimes is a late addition to the injury report with a right ankle sprain, which doesn’t bode well for his availability. The severity of the injury is unknown, but it’s possible Philadelphia is taking a cautious approach on the second leg of a back-to-back set. Justin Edwards and Eric Gordon may see a few extra minutes if Grimes sits out, but neither are appealing fantasy streaming options.

Porter Jr. is set to miss his third straight game after injuring his oblique against the Hawks on January 19. The versatile combo guard has been limited to 23 games thus far, thanks to various injuries. While he is sidelined, Ryan Rollins will remain in the starting point guard position, taking on primary ball-handling and playmaking responsibilities. Cole Anthony should continue seeing quality minutes and opportunities off the bench.

Monday’s fourth-quarter minutes in a 130-93 defeat may have given McCain the boost that a recent stint in the G League failed to. The second-year guard, who’s struggled with injuries and confidence since having his rookie campaign end prematurely due to a torn meniscus, shot 4-of-7 from the field in the final frame, scoring 12 points. This doesn’t make McCain a factor in redraft leagues immediately, but the 76ers can use another consistent shooter off the bench. We’ll see if Monday’s fourth quarter serves as a catalyst for McCain.

With Joel Embiid and Paul George sitting out due to injury management, many likely expected a big afternoon from Maxey. Unfortunately for him and the 76ers, the Hornets had other ideas. Maxey had one of his worst games of the season, missing all three of his three-point attempts and shooting 33.3 percent from inside the arc. The seven assists were nice, but fantasy managers are left to hope that Maxey bounces back on Tuesday against the Bucks.

Oubre was the lone 76ers starter in double figures on Monday, continuing a nice run of production for him. Rostered in 31 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has been close to a top-100 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. As long as Oubre is in the starting lineup, he’ll be worth rostering in deep leagues and some standard ones as well.

According to Nehm, Rivers said, “He did a very good job. MRI has revealed exactly what we thought. There’s no timetable. Calf strain and really no timetable for return. Hopefully, like it was before, sooner (than later), but there’s no timetable.” That’s certainly a divergence from Giannis’ initial four-to-six-week estimate. Until Antetokounmpo returns, Bobby Portis and Kyle Kuzma will share duties at PF.

George will sit out Monday’s game due to left knee injury management, and the change in start time may have been a factor. The game will start at 3 PM Eastern instead of 7 PM, cutting down on the time that George and Joel Embiid would have to get their bodies ready. So, both will sit. As has been the case on a few occasions this season, Edgecombe got going in the fourth quarter after being quiet for the first three. He shot 3-of-4 from the field in the final frame, helping Philadelphia bounce back from another brutal third quarter. It wasn’t enough to get the 76ers into the winner’s circle, however. Edgecombe’s production has slipped recently, with the rookie ranked outside the top-100 over the past two weeks. However, that’s just as much due to Joel Embiid’s resurgence as it is the rookie’s decreased scoring.

While it’s unclear when exactly Antetokounmpo suffered the injury during Friday night’s loss to the Nuggets, the 31-year-old power forward didn’t mince words in his postgame media availability. Antetokounmpo said he expects the MRI, which is scheduled for Saturday, to show that he popped something in his calf and that he won’t return before the end of February at the earliest. While the injury is potentially devastating for fantasy managers, it also has major implications on the Bucks’ playoff hopes. Milwaukee is currently two and a half games behind Atlanta for the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference and will have to find a way to tread water without their star player for at least the next month.

Truner returned from a one-game absence and provided the Bucks with solid two-way production. In the loss, he scored efficiently inside the arc and was decent on the glass in his 29 minutes of game action. But his biggest impact came on the defensive end, where he set a new season-high in blocks and tallied more in this one game than he had combined throughout January. Turner’s debut season in Milwaukee has been up-and-down, but perhaps this will be the game to jumpstart the rest of his campaign.

Rollins was one of the few Bucks players to produce consistently on the offensive end. He used the three-point shot to finish as one of two Bucks to reach 20 points, and led Milwaukee in steals on the other end. All of Rollins’ offensive production came as a scorer, as he failed to make an impact as a facilitator. Nonetheless, it’s presumable that he will put together good fantasy production moving forward while Kevin Porter Jr. (oblique) remains out.

Antetokounmpo’s total shot attempts were low, once again. Aside from the three minutes he logged in an earlier contest against Detroit, in which he exited early with an injury, Antetokounmpo finished with under 10 shot attempts for the first time all season. He did get to the line a fair amount, which helped him tally over 20 points and lead the Bucks in scoring. But perhaps the most important development from Friday’s game was Antetokounmpo’s health: he left with a leg injury in the final minute and did not return. His status moving forward could have major implications.

After being listed previously as questionable due to an illness, Trent Jr. has been downgraded and will miss Friday’s game against the Nuggets. The veteran sharpshooter has seen his minutes dwindle as the season has progressed and has now settled into a lesser reserve role, averaging under 20 minutes per game. He played 37 of a possible 53 minutes in the overtime victory, which is definitely a positive. Thursday’s version of Embiid may have been the closest that 76ers fans and fantasy managers have gotten to his “vintage” self this season. The 7-footer recorded his first triple-double of the season, and that included a few key assists to Tyrese Maxey during the overtime period. Not only were the nine assists a season-high for Portis, but Wednesday’s tally equalled his total in Milwaukee’s previous eight games.
