Monk was forced to leave Sunday’s loss to the Pistons early with right ankle soreness, and it will cost him at least one game. Keon Ellis could be the next man up in Sacramento’s rotation to grab Monk’s vacated minutes.

LaVine sat out Sunday against the Kings, which allowed Nique Clifford to enter the starting lineup. Clifford logged a productive 15/3/1 line with a block and two triples across 33 minutes, making him a worthwhile addition in deeper fantasy leagues.

Grimes is a late addition to the injury report with a right ankle sprain, which doesn’t bode well for his availability. The severity of the injury is unknown, but it’s possible Philadelphia is taking a cautious approach on the second leg of a back-to-back set. Justin Edwards and Eric Gordon may see a few extra minutes if Grimes sits out, but neither are appealing fantasy streaming options.

Embiid sat out the first leg of the Sixers’ back-to-back set, but he’s got a chance to take the court on Tuesday. If Embiid is ultimately ruled out, Andre Drummond should remain in the starting lineup, with Adem Bona earning additional run off the bench.

George sat out Monday due to left knee injury management, but he’s expected to play on the second night of Philadelphia’s back-to-back set. George’s return should push Dominick Barlow back to the bench, but fantasy managers shouldn’t have been rostering Barlow. Kelly Oubre Jr. should still retain his fantasy value regardless of George’s availability.

Monday’s fourth-quarter minutes in a 130-93 defeat may have given McCain the boost that a recent stint in the G League failed to. The second-year guard, who’s struggled with injuries and confidence since having his rookie campaign end prematurely due to a torn meniscus, shot 4-of-7 from the field in the final frame, scoring 12 points. This doesn’t make McCain a factor in redraft leagues immediately, but the 76ers can use another consistent shooter off the bench. We’ll see if Monday’s fourth quarter serves as a catalyst for McCain.

With Joel Embiid and Paul George sitting out due to injury management, many likely expected a big afternoon from Maxey. Unfortunately for him and the 76ers, the Hornets had other ideas. Maxey had one of his worst games of the season, missing all three of his three-point attempts and shooting 33.3 percent from inside the arc. The seven assists were nice, but fantasy managers are left to hope that Maxey bounces back on Tuesday against the Bucks.

Oubre was the lone 76ers starter in double figures on Monday, continuing a nice run of production for him. Rostered in 31 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has been close to a top-100 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. As long as Oubre is in the starting lineup, he’ll be worth rostering in deep leagues and some standard ones as well.

Monk exited Sunday’s loss to the Pistons briefly because of the sore right ankle, but he did play during the second half. If he can’t play on Tuesday, that likely opens the door for Keon Ellis to play more after logging 21 minutes against the Pistons.

LaVine did not play in Sunday’s loss to the Pistons, resulting in Nique Clifford moving into the starting lineup. The rookie played 33 minutes, finishing with 15 points, three rebounds, one assist, one block and two three-pointers. While not a must-stream player, Clifford will have value during the “silly season” based on where the Kings are in the Western Conference standings.

Monk was in line for more minutes off the bench Sunday once Zach LaVine (back) was ruled out. The 27-year-old guard played just 22 minutes in the Kings’ blowout loss at the hands of the Pistons, with the lopsided score keeping him from hitting a ceiling scenario. Monk still isn’t worth rostering in most fantasy leagues, but he flashed some of his potential Sunday.

George will sit out Monday’s game due to left knee injury management, and the change in start time may have been a factor. The game will start at 3 PM Eastern instead of 7 PM, cutting down on the time that George and Joel Embiid would have to get their bodies ready. So, both will sit. George’s absence may push Dominick Barlow back into the starting lineup, but he isn’t worth streaming. However, fantasy managers should target Kelly Oubre Jr.

Embiid had 38 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in Saturday’s loss to the Knicks, but is set to miss Monday’s game against the Hornets. The 31-year-old center is out for left knee injury management reasons. Andre Drummond and Adem Bona should handle the center minutes and Embiid should be back Tuesday for the game against the Bucks.

Sabonis is back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench in his first four games back from knee surgery. This pushes Maxime Raynaud to the bench, which lowers the rookie’s fantasy ceiling considerably. Clifford steps in for his fourth start of the season in place of the injured Zach LaVine.

Added to the Kings’ injury report late Saturday night, LaVine is now officially out for Sunday’s game in Detroit. When Sacramento played two games in late December without LaVine and Keegan Murray (ankle), Keon Ellis was inserted into the starting lineup. However, the fourth-year guard has picked up DNP-CDs in each of the Kings’ last five games. For that reason, Nique Clifford may be the more likely choice to start, but he should only be rostered in dynasty leagues.

LaVine was not on the initial injury report released by the Kings. If he’s unable to play, rookie Nique Clifford may be the player picked to move into the starting lineup. It may also mean that there’s room for Malik Monk and Keon Ellis in the rotation, but don’t bet on that happening.

Bassey is back with the franchise that selected him with the 53rd overall pick in the 2021 draft. While he himself may not affect fantasy basketball, this is a critical transaction regarding Dominick Barlow and Jabari Walker. With the 76ers now on 15 standard contracts, Barlow and Walker can be active for games without concern about the 50-game limit on players on two-way contracts.

As has been the case on a few occasions this season, Edgecombe got going in the fourth quarter after being quiet for the first three. He shot 3-of-4 from the field in the final frame, helping Philadelphia bounce back from another brutal third quarter. It wasn’t enough to get the 76ers into the winner’s circle, however. Edgecombe’s production has slipped recently, with the rookie ranked outside the top-100 over the past two weeks. However, that’s just as much due to Joel Embiid’s resurgence as it is the rookie’s decreased scoring.

Oubre had another solid performance for the 76ers, once again showing that he can be valuable to category-league managers. Rostered in 27 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the 76ers’ wing has been close to a top-100 player over the past two weeks. With Philadelphia opening Week 15 with a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday, it’s possible that Oubre is only available for three games.

Since being limited to 14 points in a January 14 blowout loss to the Cavaliers, Maxey has scored at least 20 points in five consecutive games. He had an efficient afternoon against the Knicks, but the third quarter was once again an issue for Maxey and the 76ers. He shot 1-of-5 from the field in the frame, and Philadelphia was outscored by a 30-13 margin. The 76ers rallied in the fourth, but the deficit was too big to erase.

One game removed from recording his first triple-double of the season, Embiid had another huge day at the office. There was a brief period in which he appeared to be favoring his left leg, but the 76ers’ center played 36 minutes. Embiid has looked more like his usual self, but a day off may be in the cards as Philadelphia opens its four-game Week 15 with a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday.

The Kings starters weren’t getting the job done in this game, and head coach Doug Christie quickly turned to the reserves. That allowed Schröder to have his first 20-point game in over a month. Schröder has been a solid reserve for the Kings this year, but that hasn’t been enough for him to be worth rostering in most fantasy formats. Still, he’s more than capable of producing, as he reminded us in this game.

Sabonis’ first three games back after an extended absence were rather quiet. His minutes were limited and so was his production. However, he still come off the bench in this game, but he was far more productive in 31 minutes as a reserve in this game. It wasn’t enough to end the losing streak, but it was a much better performance for fantasy managers. Don’t be surprised if he returns to the starting lineup on Sunday against the Pistons.

While George’s points tally in his first game back after missing two for left knee injury maintenance, fantasy managers should focus more on the workload. He played 37 of a possible 53 minutes in the overtime victory, which is definitely a positive. And George came up with some big plays in crunch time, knocking down a three-pointer for the first points of overtime and blocking an Alperen Şengün layup attempt that would have tied the game with 1:16 remaining in the extra session.

Maxey has now scored at least 30 points in 20 of the 41 games he’s played this season. And on Thursday, he was at his best when the 76ers needed him most, shooting 6-of-9 from the field in the fourth quarter and overtime. Paul George’s return after a two-game absence did not result in Oubre moving to the bench, as both were in the starting lineup. And Oubre had one of his best games of the season, knocking down four three-pointers and recording a complete stat line. Rostered in 21 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Oubre has been close to a top-100 player in nine-cat formats. At a minimum, those who are already rostering him should hold onto the Tsunami Papi.

Thursday’s version of Embiid may have been the closest that 76ers fans and fantasy managers have gotten to his “vintage” self this season. The 7-footer recorded his first triple-double of the season, and that included a few key assists to Tyrese Maxey during the overtime period. Embiid has stayed relatively healthy over the past month, and if that continues, he could wind up being one of the steals of the 2025-26 fantasy season.
