Martin will not play in Sunday’s game, leaving the Jazz down another option in the frontcourt. While Lauri Markkanen is available, the Jazz could limit his minutes as the team attempts to improve its lottery odds. For this reason, Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski are worth rostering because their minutes should be safe as younger players.

A disappointment during his time with the Lakers, the 2023 first-round pick has had an opportunity to prove himself as a pro in Philadelphia. Hood-Schifino had his best game as a pro on Sunday, with 19 points and five three-pointers being personal bests. This was Hood-Schifino’s second game in double figures as an NBA player. One game does not make him a player who has to be added ahead of Philadelphia’s four-game Week 20. However, Hood-Schifino won’t lack opportunities to solidify his status as an NBA player between now and the end of the season.

The 76ers were without Kelly Oubre Jr. and Paul George for Sunday’s game, so Edwards made his 15th start of the season. The rookie wing shot 50 percent from the field overall but was 0-of-4 from beyond the arc. The defensive stats were encouraging, however, and Edwards is a player who should not lack opportunities as the 76ers look to improve the likelihood that they’ll keep their top-6 protected first-round pick. The 76ers play four games during Week 20, starting with the Rockets on Monday.

Back in the 76ers’ lineup after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Pacers, Grimes continued his hot scoring against the team that traded him at the February deadline. He has scored 25 points or more in four straight and six of his last eight appearances. Under normal circumstances, Grimes’ heater could be a difference-maker for fantasy managers. However, with the 76ers seemingly doing all they can to improve their chances of holding onto their first-round pick, Grimes’ playing time could be at risk eventually. He should undoubtedly be rostered, but that’s something for fantasy managers to watch.

Martin is a late addition to the injury report after being left off the initial release from the Jazz. Martin didn’t return to the starting unit in Utah’s first game without John Collins, who is set to be re-evaluated in two weeks after suffering a left ankle sprain. If Martin is also sidelined on Sunday, Kyle Filipowski and Svi Mykhailiuk will both take on extra minutes.

Bona sprained his ankle during Friday’s loss to the Pacers. While he remained in the game at the time of the injury, that was likely influenced by the 76ers already being down multiple rotation players. Guerschon Yabusele will take on a starring role in the frontcourt with Bona and Drummond out for Sunday’s game. José Alvarado struck out the side the inning prior. He has looked as good as any reliever in baseball this spring, but it still seems like Romano will be the primary closer on Philly. He’s allowed only a pair of unearned runs and three hits over six innings this spring. He was up to 96.0 mph on average with his fastball today, down just 0.4 mph from last year.

Walker Kessler was technically available Friday, but he began the game on the bench and was a DNP-CD. That allowed Filipowski to move into the starting lineup, where he fared well against the Raptors. The 21-year-old power forward had 18 points on 11 shots including three 3-pointers and pulled down 11 rebounds to earn a double-double. Filipowski is going to continue to be a worthwhile streamer if the Jazz make a habit of holding Kessler out down the stretch.

Markkanen returned from a back injury that sidelined him for nine games Wednesday and played 28 minutes against the Grizzlies. The 27-year-old power forward only played 19 minutes Friday against the Raptors in a somewhat curious decision. Signed to a 10-day contract earlier Friday, Brissett made his 76ers debut the same day. He shot the ball well, making over 50 percent of his attempts. However, this was primarily a points and three-pointers night for Brissett. That isn’t enough to make him a player worth adding immediately. With no Andre Drummond, Bona was able to start and play heavy minutes in the middle on Friday. The rookie finished one rebound shy of his second double-double, but the 16 points were a season-high. While Bona has only been a 13th-round player since the All-Star break, the circumstances make him worth adding during the fantasy playoff weeks. At the very least, he’s worth slotting into lineups for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks. Fantasy managers should seek out Guerschon Yabusele first, however. Council, who had fallen out of the 76ers’ rotation for most of February, made his first start since February 2 on Friday. With Paul George’s status for the rest of the season uncertain, this may have been the first of many nights in which Council logs starters’ minutes. He was solid against the Pacers, blocking three shots and scoring 14 points in 36 minutes. There should be an update on George’s status early next week. At a minimum, deep-league managers can stream Council for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.

With the 76ers down numerous players due to injury, Dowtin played a marquee role in the team’s rotation on Friday. The veteran guard recorded his second 20-point game in as many outings, with Friday’s total representing a career-high. Add in the complete stat line, and this was a good night to have Dowtin rostered. How long this run will last depends on the health of the other 76ers guards and the number of games Dowtin can be active for as a two-way player. Therefore, Jared Butler also has value at this stage in the season.
