Reath’s status is up in the air after not seeing the floor during the first leg of this back-to-back. Robert Williams (knee) is questionable, and while there is a chance he plays, it is far more likely he sits out. After being held to single digits for the first time since before Christmas on Sunday, Love was able to get back on track in this game. Still on a two-way deal, Love has been impressive as a scorer. He’s averaging 15.8 points per game in January, which is third among rookies. His fantasy impact is really just points and three-pointers, which gives him some value, but his impact is limited.

Deni Avdija (back) exited early from this game, which opened the door for Sharpe to step up. This was the second straight game he’s scored exactly 27 points, and he’s scored at least 20 in eight of his last nine games. Sharpe has seen a bump in steals this season, which has helped his value in category leagues, but he is still reliant on points and triples. He was able to do a little more in this game, but fantasy managers shouldn’t rely on him to produce to this level consistently. They play again on Friday, and if Avdija remains out, Sharpe should carry the offense again.

Avdija was having an excellent night before his lower back flared up, tallying 20 points (6-of-11 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists and two three-pointers in 18 minutes. Avdija missed three games earlier this month after injuring his lower back during a January 11 loss to the Knicks. Having Jrue Holiday and Jerami Grant back in the lineup will help account for Avdija’s absence, and Caleb Love can also pick up some of the slack from a playmaking standpoint.

Kennard has logged at least 19 minutes in seven of his last eight games, with his minutes increasing when the shots are falling. The Hawks’ guard was 4-of-5 from beyond the arc in Memphis, with the 18 points being double his tally from the prior three games combined. While he did shoot 60 percent from the field and record a complete stat line, this was a rough night for Okongwu. In addition to fouling out, the Hawks’ center committed a season-high seven turnovers. The good news is that nights like this have not been the norm for Okongwu, so it’s safe to assume that he’ll bounce back. And over the past two weeks, he has provided third-round value in eight-cat formats.

Johnson wasn’t among the ten players named starters for next month’s All-Star Game, but there’s little doubt that he should be making the trip. The Hawks’ forward recorded another stellar stat line on Wednesday, finishing two assists shy of a triple-double. After taking one significant leap last season, Johnson has taken another, and that likely factored into the Hawks’ decision to trade Trae Young. Johnson has been a fantasy cornerstone this season, and that should be the case for future seasons as well.

With Zaccharie Risacher (knee) still out, the Hawks decided to go with Corey Kispert (two points, one rebound, one assist and one steal) as the fifth starter instead of McCollum or Vit Krejčí (zero points, two assists). However, this did not prevent McCollum from being the one on the court as the Hawks mounted a fourth-quarter rally. More concerning than the role was McCollum playing 24 minutes. If he can consistently get into the high-20s, the veteran guard will have an easier time preserving most of his fantasy value.

Okongwu was Atlanta’s top scorer on the evening, finishing as one of only two Hawks players to reach the 20-point mark.
