The Celtics played Saturday’s game without Al Horford, who was ruled out with a lingering toe injury. That freed up additional minutes for Kornet, who made the most of his opportunity. The veteran center’s 16 rebounds were a career-high, and the double-double was his second of the season. Rostered in two percent of Yahoo! leagues, Kornet would not be worth the risk in most leagues. However, between Horford’s toe injury and the desire to ensure Kristaps Porzingis (11/8/1/0/2 with one three-pointer) is at full strength for the playoffs, there may be more opportunities for Kornet to approach starters’ minutes during Boston’s four-game Week 22.

Holiday recorded his fifth 20-point game of the season on Saturday, with the 21 points being the most he’s dropped since March 14. While this has been a disappointing season overall for those who have Jrue rostered, he has offered top 60 value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. However, he’s another Celtics player who may be an “injury management” for Week 22, even with Boston not having any back-to-backs on their schedule. Injuries have limited Holiday to 57 appearances, which may be used as a reason to get him additional rest ahead of the postseason.

Tatum was back in the Celtics’ lineup after sitting out Wednesday’s win over the Suns, and he made up for lost time with an excellent stat line. Over the past two weeks, the Celtics star has offered top-10 value in eight-cat formats. When Tatum is on the court, fantasy managers don’t worry about much. However, with the Celtics locked into a top-two seed in the East and trailing Cleveland by four games in the loss column, the team may look to get its primary weapons additional time off before the end of the regular season. The Celtics play four games without a back-to-back during Week 22, but that doesn’t guarantee Tatum will be available for each contest.

While his absence does not change anything regarding Anfernee Simons’ status as the starting point guard, Henderson not playing likely means more playing time for Dalano Banton. Horford has dealt with a sprained left big toe for a few weeks, but most of his absences have been due to the Celtics playing a back-to-back. Tillman has only appeared in three games since the beginning of February, last playing on March 6. His availability does not impact fantasy basketball. However, Pritchard leads all bench scorers this season and has been good enough to merit being rostered in standard leagues. Avdija cooled off a bit after back-to-back 30-point performances, but he was able to lead Portland in scoring on Thursday despite the loss. Still, over the past two weeks, Avdija has averaged 22.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, one steal and 3.4 triples per game, which has him ranked inside the top 20 in nine-cat scoring during this stretch. He’ll look to keep it going in New York on Sunday to close out the week. He had 27 points and 15 rebounds in a loss to the Knicks earlier this month.

Sharpe continues to start with Jerami Grant (knee) still sidelined. Hopefully you aren’t holding out hope that Grant is going to return this season. Sharpe has taken advantage of the opportunity and has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four appearances. The rebounding numbers have been decent, but he struggles to provide value in multiple categories, which limits his value outside of points formats. Still, this development is important for a player with loads of upside that will turn 22 in at the end of May. Dynasty managers still have reason for optimism.

Despite success late last season, Reath wasn’t able to carve out a spot in the rotation for most of this year with Portland. However, he has taken on a larger role in the month of March, which allowed him to set a new season-high with 17 points on Thursday. He scored in double figures in three straight games last week but scored a total of eight points across their last two games entering Thursday. Limited to nine points in his first game back from a knee issue that cost him three games, Brown looked much sharper on Wednesday.
