Castle did not record a season-high point total on Thursday, but one can argue that this was his best all-around performance. The reigning Rookie of the Year shot over 50 percent from the field and recorded a complete stat line while committing a season-low two turnovers. In San Antonio’s first four games, Castle was responsible for at least five turnovers in each. His role will change once De’Aaron Fox recovers fully from his hamstring injury. Still, the key for Castle will be efficiency, regardless of who’s available.

Butler, who’s scored at least 20 points in five of Golden State’s first six games, recorded his first double-double of the season on Thursday. He’s looked sharp and motivated thus far, which is a good sign for the Warriors and fantasy managers with Butler on their rosters. His Yahoo! ADP of 50 may have been conservative, but with good reason. So far, those who were willing to draft Butler are benefiting from their decision to do so.

While Kuminga has averaged at least 15 points per game each of the last three seasons, the 2025-26 season has a different feel thus far. His role is solidified, which has led to Kuminga better navigating the balance of getting his offense and understanding that things still revolve around Stephen Curry. Rostered in 49 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Kuminga is providing middle-round value in 12-team formats. Now would be a good time for some holdouts to grab JK off the waiver wire if he’s available.

Curry led the Warriors in scoring on Thursday, getting back over the 20-point mark after totaling 35 in the previous two games. He’s averaging 27.0 points per game through six games and providing top-10 value in nine-cat formats. And Curry has done this despite his playing time decreasing slightly. He’s averaging 31.1 minutes per game, which would be Curry’s lowest average since the 2011-12 season (not counting the 2019-20 season in which he played five games). With the Warriors’ goal being to ensure that Curry’s healthy and fresh for the stretch run, some fantasy managers may be concerned. There’s no need to be.

Sharpe is dealing with a sore left calf, only playing 24 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Jazz. But the probable tag suggests he’s closer to playing on Friday than not. If he cannot play, that may open the door for Jerami Grant to move into the starting lineup. While Sharpe scored 18 points on Wednesday, the overall line was disappointing. For the first time in five games, he failed to record an assist, steal or blocked shot. Outside of points and three-pointers, there was no value to be had regarding fantasy basketball. The good news is that this hasn’t been the norm for Sharpe; it would be unsurprising if he bounced back on Friday against the Nuggets.

While Avdija’s final stat line was solid, there were issues. He missed all five of his three-point attempts, but the six turnovers were more concerning, especially for managers in nine-cat leagues. Thus far, Avdija’s averaging 3.8 turnovers per game, which is why he’s only a top-75 player currently. However, punt the turnovers and he’s providing top-50 value. The decision to start Avdija over Jerami Grant (18/3/1/2 with three three-pointers in 25 minutes) has benefited both parties, with the latter surprisingly being a third-round player in nine-cat formats.

The move from Boston to Portland seems to have brought Holiday’s fantasy value back to life. He’s scored at least 21 points in three consecutive games, something the veteran guard did not do last season. Still rostered in just 54 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Holiday is providing third-round value in nine-cat formats. Playing their second game in as many nights, the Warriors were able to manage the minutes of their key players due to the nature of Tuesday’s victory. Make that back-to-back games now for Holiday, for which he’s registered at least 21 points, five rebounds, six assists, and three three-pointers. One of the bright spots for the Warriors’ offense on Friday was their ability to produce from the three-point line.
