Kuminga did not play in Saturday’s win over the Suns. Not long after it was reported that he’s expected to play on Monday, the forward’s name was officially removed from the injury report. Unless Kuminga can lock down a consistent role, there’s no reason to roster him in most fantasy leagues.

Clingan finished Saturday’s victory with his seventh double-double of the season. While the foul line remained problematic after a poor showing in Thursday’s win over the Kings, the second-year pivot only attempted three shots. Clingan still boasts a respectable percentage for the season, and fantasy managers value him more for the rebounds, blocks and field-goal percentage categories.

While Camara’s defensive abilities have not been questioned since he entered the NBA, there remains room for him to develop his perimeter shooting. He made four of nine three-point attempts on Saturday, but Camara entered the game shooting 33.9 percent on seven attempts per game. If Camara can eventually develop into a high-30s three-point shooter, that would help raise his fantasy ceiling.

Sharpe has been on a roll recently, scoring at least 20 points in four straight and seven of his last eight appearances. His performance in Sacramento included one of the dunks of the season, but the Trail Blazers’ guard improving his offensive production is the bigger deal for fantasy managers. Over the past two weeks, Sharpe has provided eighth-round value in eight-cat formats. Given the limited output outside of points, his ceiling is a bit limited in fantasy basketball.

Avdija finished Saturday’s victory with his eighth double-double of the season and first since December 2 (seven games). The Trail Blazers’ wing has seen his fantasy value improve substantially since Jrue Holiday’s injury pushed him to the primary playmaker role. And it’s fair to wonder if that position is what will be in the cards for Avdija even after Holiday returns. The turnover count can be high, but Avdija’s overall value compensates for that. Portland plays four games in Week 10, starting with the Pistons on Monday.

On a night when Draymond Green only played eight minutes due to his ejection, Richard stepped up and gave the Warriors valuable contributions off the bench. The rookie’s 20 points were the most in a game for him since November 5, when he dropped a season-high 30. Add in the rebounds, three-pointers and percentages, and this was an excellent showing from Richard. That said, he isn’t someone who should be in fantasy managers’ plans unless the Warriors’ rotation is decimated by injuries.

Scoring-wise, Butler has kicked things up a notch, totaling 56 points in his last two games. Unfortunately for category league managers, his production in other categories has slipped. Saturday’s overall stat line was relatively meager, with Butler’s rebounding tally (one) being his lowest in a game this season, and this was his fifth game with two assists or fewer. Over the last two weeks, Butler has provided fifth-round value in eight-cat formats.

Curry and the Warriors started slowly on Saturday, giving up 44 first-quarter points with the star guard only attempting two shots. Draymond Green’s ejection may have lit a fire under the Warriors, who outscored Phoenix by 18 points in the second and third quarters. Curry has corralled nine rebounds in back-to-back games, and he has been a top-5 player in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. The Warriors play three games in Week 10, starting with Orlando on Monday.

Green received his marching orders early in the second quarter after picking up two technical fouls. The Trail Blazers won’t have Jerami Grant’s services for Saturday’s game, as he has been ruled out due to a sore left Achilles. Murray will fill the resulting void in the starting lineup. One game removed from dropping 35 points on the Warriors, Grant had another good night on Thursday. He’s scored at least 20 points in four of his last five games, and the forward’s nine rebounds were a nice bonus for those who have him rostered. Rostered in 43 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Grant has been a top-50 player in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Given that production, now would be a good time to roll the dice on Grant, especially with the Trail Blazers facing the Kings again on Saturday.

Clingan, who entered Thursday shooting 79.5 percent from the foul line, struggled mightily at the charity stripe against the Kings. Making well below 50 percent of his attempts, the 7-foot-2 center missed three of four attempts in the final 33 seconds of overtime. That opened the door for the Kings to potentially steal the game, but Deni Avdija’s free throws with 1.5 seconds remaining were the difference. Clingan was productive across the board, and his foul shooting throughout the season is why fantasy managers should not be too concerned about what they saw on Thursday.

Unfortunately for him and those who have the Trail Blazers guard rostered, he cooled down considerably after halftime. Portland blew significant leads late in regulation and overtime, but Avdija came to the rescue to help the Blazers avoid a terrible loss. His two free throws with 1.5 seconds remaining in overtime gave Portland the 134-133 victory, and the wing finished with his eighth 30-point game of the season. While turnovers, of which he had five, remain an issue for Avdija, the overall production has been elite. And he’s doing this while being asked to serve as the primary playmaker as Portland awaits the return of Jrue Holiday. With the new All-Star Game format, it would be unsurprising if Avdija made his way to southern California in mid-February.

Butler had one of his better games Thursday with 31 points in the loss to the Suns. That’s as many points as Butler had in the previous two games.
