Thompson is averaging 18.2 points per game this year, but has at least 20 points in five of his last six games. The 22-year-old point guard had a good game, his second night in a row with 24 points. Still, it wasn’t enough to prevent the Rockets from blowing a big lead in the fourth quarter with Kevin Durant on the bench. Thompson has provided third-round per game value over the last two weeks. Camara had another well-rounded performance in Wednesday’s win, despite shooting inefficiently from beyond the arc. He made all of his two-point shots, finished statistically as one of the best rebounders and facilitators on the team, and was the only Trail Blazer to record multiple blocks and steals. Sharpe was one of two Trail Blazers to score at least 20 points in the victory. Eason got up a lot of shots on Wednesday, but not a lot of them fell. His biggest near-make came in the closing moments of the game as he almost successfully tapped in a missed Kevin Durant jump shot at the buzzer to give the Rockets the win. Thompson was one of the Rockets’ most productive offensive performers on Wednesday. On efficient 50-percent shooting, the former fourth-overall pick notched his 14th 20-point game of the season, and fourth in the past five games. On the heels of a game-winning shot against his former employer, the Suns, Durant delivered a fantastic scoring performance on Wednesday in the one-point loss. Coming off arguably his worst performance of the season, Sharpe bounced back in a big way in this blowout victory. Sharpe’s been a high-level scorer, and he’s averaging a career high in steals, but his value in category leagues has been limited by a lack of production in other categories. Clingan dominated early on in this game and entered the halftime break with a double-double. This was his third straight double-double, and he has one in five of his last six games. However, it’s the deep-range shooting that has been the real revelation. He hit a total of 14 triples as a rookie, but he has five over his last two games and 12 over his last seven. Saturday’s double-double was Eason’s first since moving into the Rockets’ starting lineup, and he’s capable of producing those stat lines consistently.
