While the scoring output was modest, Clingan finished Wednesday’s defeat with his 35th double-double of the season, more than triple his 2024-25 tally of eight. And his improvements as a perimeter shooter have major ramifications for the 7-foot-2 center’s fantasy value going forward. While an average of 1.1 three-pointers per game isn’t much, Clingan has made more three-pointers this season (80) than he attempted during his entire rookie campaign (49). He made three of five attempts against the Spurs and is 6-of-11 over his last two games.

Henderson has scored in double figures in five straight and nine of his last ten appearances. However, he has shot just 40.6 percent from the field during this stretch. That, especially the three-point shooting, is an area where Henderson will need to make strides ahead of the 2026-27 season. And with Damian Lillard (Achilles) re-entering the fray, getting the opportunities needed to affect fantasy basketball will become more challenging for Henderson.

While Camara’s three-point percentage for the season is on par with his 2024-25 mark, he has been far more willing to attempt those shots. Entering Wednesday with an average of 7.2 three-point attempts per game, the Trail Blazers forward attempted eight against the Spurs. And in three games this month, Camara has shot 18-of-33 from deep. A win over the Clippers on Friday would keep Portland’s hopes of grabbing the eighth seed alive; they need two wins and the Clippers to go 0-2 over the final two games. To get that done, they’ll need Camara to continue to shoot the ball as well as he has recently.

Scoring-wise, Avdija had a good night, finishing with a true shooting percentage of 63.7 percent. However, six turnovers countered the six assists, and that category has been an issue for him at times this season. Avdija has undoubtedly been one of the NBA’s most improved players, but with increased usage has come a sharp increase in turnovers. Recording his 12th double-double of the season, Queen finished Tuesday’s victory three assists shy of his third triple-double. And much to the delight of the Pelicans, the rookie center enjoyed one of his most impactful games as a defender. More active on that end of the floor, Queen recorded three steals and two blocked shots. Hawkins was one of many Pelicans players who played extended minutes on Tuesday due to the team’s loaded injury report. And the third-year guard took advantage of the opportunity, recording a season-high point total and finishing a block shy of a complete stat line. Peavy has not been a consistent member of the Pelicans’ rotation this season, which makes this part of the season that much more important for him. The 20 points were a season-high for the rookie wing, who finished a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Peavy’s contract for the 2025-26 season is guaranteed, so he is secure in that regard. Given the many absences from the Pelicans’ rotation, Tuesday’s game was set up to be a showcase for Fears. The rookie guard took full advantage, as he set the Pelicans franchise rookie record for points in a game. And this wasn’t an inefficient 40, either. He was more productive on Sunday than in Friday’s loss to the Kings, but the biggest positive regarding Williamson this season has been his availability. A starter in four of the Pelicans’ last five games, Missi recorded his fifth double-double of the season and first since March 19. Injuries to Dejounte Murray and Trey Murphy have freed up minutes and a place in the starting lineup for the 6-foot-11 center, and he’s done some good things as a finisher and a defender.
