Payne spent time during the preseason with the Pacers but has played in Serbia since then. However, he is “securing a buyout,” which will allow him to sign with Philadelphia. The veteran point guard will provide depth behind Tyrese Maxey, but he won’t see significant minutes unless there is an injury in front of him. In that scenario, he may be able to provide decent value in assists.

Lillard’s score of 29 in the final round was enough to beat Kon Knueppel, who had 17, and Devin Booker, who had 27. The 35-year-old point guard won the three-point contest for the third time in his career, tying Larry Bird and Craig Hodges for most in NBA history. Lillard is out for the season after rupturing his left Achilles during last year’s playoffs.

After scoring 17 points in the semifinals, including a run of ten consecutive points, the 76ers guard scored six more in Team Vince’s championship game victory over Team Melo. Despite the outcome of Wednesday’s game and the five turnovers, this was an encouraging performance for Henderson. The third-year guard shot the ball well from the field and the foul line, including a 3-of-5 night from beyond the arc. Scoot’s minutes are still being limited, as he played 19 on Wednesday, but that will likely change after the All-Star break. The Trail Blazers visit Utah on Thursday, but fantasy managers should assume that Henderson will sit for injury management reasons.

Krejčí is most valuable to category league managers needing points and three-pointers, and he came through on Wednesday. The 17 points and three three-pointers were the most in a game for him since arriving in Portland. However, the limited production in the other fantasy-relevant categories makes Krejčí little more than a specialist in deep leagues. On a night when the Timberwolves were able to frustrate Deni Avdija (11/5/3/1) and limit him to 3-of-14 shooting, Holiday did what he could to pick up the slack. He’s scored at least 20 points in three of his last four appearances, and the 23 in Wednesday’s defeat were the most in a game for the veteran guard since October 27. However, while the 23/5/5 line with five three-pointers was solid, it was accompanied by six turnovers. Holiday did play both legs of Portland’s most recent back-to-back, but he should still be considered questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.

It may have come in a losing effort, but Oubre produced another solid stat line on Monday. The six defensive contributions were one shy of his season-high, which the veteran wing recorded in a January 11 loss to the Raptors. Holiday certainly enjoyed seeing Memphis the last two days. In two Trail Blazers victories, he totaled 41 points on 14-of-25 shooting.
