However, neither player is worth streaming as Portland will have its expected starting five available.

Avdija’s potential absence on the second night of a back-to-back would open up a ton of minutes and a starting spot. Murray’s status for Wednesday’s game could have a larger impact than it typically would. Donovan Clingan (leg) is also questionable, and Murray started when Clingan last missed a game. With Robert Williams (knee) out, Murray’s status will be the main factor for deciding if Duop Reath and Yang Hansen will be part of the rotation for this game.

Clingan could be unavailable for the second night of this back-to-back. Kris Murray started during Clingan’s last absence, but he is questionable with a hip contusion. Unsurprisingly, Williams will sit out the second leg of Portland’s back-to-back. Donovan Clingan (leg) is questionable, and with Williams unavailable, Duop Reath and Yang Hansen are candidates to be part of the rotation. Kris Murray started in a smaller lineup during Clingan’s last absence, and he should see a bump in minutes regardless of Clingan’s status.

There aren’t as many minutes for Harper as there are for other lottery picks, but he was able to make the most of his time in this game. Since returning from a 10-game absence, Harper has averaged 12.5 points, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals in just 18 minutes per game. He’ll continue to have his minutes managed for now, and when he returns to a full workload, he’ll still have De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle ahead of him in the rotation. Harper is valuable asset in dynasty leagues, but his role may not be large enough for him to truly pop this season.

Fox checked back into the game with 4:07 left in the fourth, with the Spurs down 113-110. From that point on, he had 11 points and an assist to deliver a win for San Antonio. Fox has been able to help the Spurs stay afloat with Victor Wembanyama (calf) sidelined, and he has been able to provide third-round value to this point. He is having his best season from the free throw line and the second-best field goal percentage of his career. Fox will continue to shine as the focal point of this team until Wemby returns, and he’ll have no issues still being a star after that.

It doesn’t happen often, but Barnes is certainly still capable of big offensive nights like this one. He led all scorers in this game while also setting a new season-high for points. Barnes has a better nine-cat value than he typically does, mostly because he is posting career highs in both steals and three-pointers per game. He’s currently available in 83 percent of Yahoo! leagues, but he should be worth rostering in standard leagues as long as Victor Wembanyama remains out.

With Sharpe recently returning to action after missing four games with a strained right calf, there has been some concern about his playing time. Despite coming off the bench again, he logged 30 minutes against the Raptors. That may be a sign that he’s ready to return to the starting lineup soon. However, with the Trail Blazers playing the Cavaliers on Wednesday, a night off may be in the cards for Sharpe. Sidy Cissoko (three points, two rebounds and one three-pointer in 22 minutes) continues to start, but he has not been productive enough to impact fantasy basketball.

One game removed from recording his second triple-double of the season, Avdija posted his seventh double-double on Tuesday. Since Portland lost Jrue Holiday to a calf injury, the versatile forward has been close to a top-50 player in eight-cat formats. Avdija is just outside the top-100 in nine-cat during this stretch, due mainly to an average of 3.8 turnovers per game. However, when Deni dishes out assists at the rate he did on Tuesday, fantasy managers aren’t going to lose sleep over a few turnovers.

Murray got the starting nod with Donovan Clingan (illness) sidelined for this game. It was a smaller starting unit for Portland, and Murray wasn’t able to fill the void on the glass. However, he was able to score in double figures for just the third time this season. This was Murray’s second start of the season, and it was far more productive than the first. While Devin Vassell and Julian Champagnie handled most of the scoring, Fox led the way with 12 assists on Friday. Sharpe returned from a four-game absence, came off the bench and finished as Portland’s third-leading scorer on Wednesday. He failed to make an impact from beyond the arc but was efficient and productive on his two-point attempts. The fourth-year guard pulled down a handful of boards in his 22 minutes, as well, but didn’t have much impact elsewhere. On the heels of a 35-point outing against the Bucks, Grant failed to recapture his shooting touch on Wednesday. Still, he managed to finish as the team’s second-leading scorer on a night in which only one Trail Blazer scored more than 13 points. Avdija set a new season-high in scoring on Wednesday, using the three-point shot and accurate shooting inside the arc to achieve it. Following a 10-game absence, Harper’s return to the lineup was uneventful. The rookie guard played only 17 minutes off the bench and shot the ball inefficiently during his time on the floor. Having tweaked his left ankle during Friday’s win over the Warriors, Clingan’s availability for both games of Portland’s ensuing back-to-back was good news for the Trail Blazers and fantasy managers.
