Gordon wasn’t on the initial injury report, but there is a chance he is sidelined against New Orleans. This isn’t part of a back-to-back, but Denver does have one on Friday and Saturday, so don’t be surprised if Gordon is sidelined for one of those. Peyton Watson is already starting with Christian Braun (ankle) out, so Bruce Brown or Tim Hardaway Jr. would likely fill in for Gordon.

This means Murray will miss Wednesday’s game against the Thunder. He was assigned to the G League on Monday to continue his rehab, and now he’s expected to make his return. Keon Ellis started on Monday, but he should return to a reserve role with Murray back. Sacramento’s starting lineup has undergone a few changes recently, but Murray should be locked in as a starter.

Sabonis had been playing through a rib injury, but it’s now his left knee that’s giving him trouble. Drew Eubanks should start in his place, with Precious Achiuwa and Maxime Raynaud filling in a few minutes off the bench. Hopefully this is just a one-game absence for Sabonis, but if he misses more time, Eubanks would be worth adding.

Having entered Monday shooting 37.2 percent from the field and 21.1 percent from three, Johnson needed a good night in the worst way. Against the Bulls, he shot 5-of-7 from beyond the arc and finished with season-highs in points and three-pointers. This was the first game in which Johnson made at least three three-pointers in a game, and his previous high point total was 15. One game does not make Johnson a player worth rostering in 12-team leagues again, but it’s a step in the right direction.

One game removed from recording his first double-double of the season, Gordon notched a second on Monday. The negative for fantasy managers is that he did not record any assists, steals or blocked shots, the first time Gordon’s tossed up a bagel in all three categories in the same game this season. Thanks to excellent production in points, rebounds and three-pointers with high percentages, AG is providing top-50 value in nine-cat formats. However, the margin for error is slim due to the lackluster assists and defensive stats.

For the first time this season, Murray recorded a points/rebounds double-double, with the other two being of the points/assists variety. The 34 points were the most the Nuggets guard has scored in a game since an October 27 win over the Timberwolves in which he tallied 43. Murray continues to exceed his Yahoo! ADP, ranking within the top-25 in nine-cat formats. It would be unsurprising if he had another big game on Wednesday when the Nuggets visit the reeling Pelicans.

Jokić had a chance to send Monday’s game to overtime, but his long three-point attempt fell short of the rim as time expired. However, fantasy managers aren’t concerned about the game’s outcome. Jokić recorded his second straight triple-double and eighth of the season. Whether it’s eight- or nine-cat formats, the Nuggets center remains the most valuable player in fantasy basketball. And with the Nuggets visiting New Orleans on Wednesday, Jokić could be in for another huge stat line.

It was more of the same from DeRozan in this one as 14 of his 15 shot attempts came from inside the three-point line, but the Kings dropped their sixth consecutive game despite San Antonio missing superstar Victor Wembanyama (calf). Murray didn’t shoot the ball well on Wednesday, but was still one of Denver’s top scorers on the evening. His biggest contributions came on the defensive end, however, where he logged a season-high in steals. Gordon had an unspectacular, but somewhat productive night against the Clippers on Wednesday. He was one of four Nuggets players to score in double figures, and he finished tied for second in rebounds. Not much was asked of Gordon on a night in which Nikola Jokic scored 55 points and 18-of-23 shooting. Yet, he finished with decent production from a fantasy basketball standpoint, regardless. A more competitive game on Saturday against the Timberwolves could potentially lead to a more productive game from Gordon.

Jokic wasted no time putting the ball in the basket on Wednesday — he set the tone early with 25 first-quarter points and remained efficient the rest of the way before finishing with his first 50-point game of the season. He’s been tremendous after a slower start to the season, and has Denver performing like a legitimate title contender.

Sabonis was one of several Kings players to have a rough night on Wednesday against Atlanta. Sabonis’ performance was one of the better, though — he led all starters in scoring and was the only starter to collect multiple steals. DeRozan logged one of his least productive games of the season on Wednesday — he set season lows in points, field-goal attempts, and minutes. Eubanks was outstanding on Tuesday, holding his own defensively and providing solid offensive value. The 19 points were a season-high, and the 6-foot-10 center has reached double figures in four of his last five games. That said, Eubanks has been most valuable when starting center Domantas Sabonis is unavailable or dealing with foul trouble. Murray was back in the Nuggets’ lineup after sitting out Saturday’s win over the Pacers with a calf issue, playing 37 minutes.
