The rookie struggled with his shot in this game but made up for it by getting to the free throw line. This was his fourth career game scoring at least 20 points, with two of those coming in his last four games. There were high expectations for him to be an NBA-ready rookie, and he has had some excellent games this year, though his role early on was too limited for his season-long numbers to be strong. Still, there were some impressive flashes, and if he is able to remain a starter next season, he may be able to make a real impact for fantasy managers.

Plowden continues to pour in the points for the Kings. This was his fourth 20-point game of the season, with all of those coming over the past month. He spent most of this season in the G League, but he has taken advantage of his opportunity to play a larger role role since the trade deadline. He has played well, which should continue in the season finale on Sunday.

Raynaud continues to look like one of the best value picks of the 2025 class. He’s is currently eighth in the class in points per game, but since the All-Star break, he is fifth. Raynaud has been one of the few bright spots in what has been a tumultuous season for Sacramento. Depending on what moves the Kings make this summer, Raynaud could end up being a valuable option in fantasy basketball once again next season.

Carter has had some strong performances as a starter over the past couple of weeks, but this was his best. He set a new career high for scoring in the win, and this was his third 20-point game in his last six outings. The 2024 lottery pick struggled to find a place in Sacramento’s rotation early on, but he has played a consistent role over the past couple of months and has been effective recently. Hopefully he’ll be able to carry some of this into next season, though fantasy managers shouldn’t bank on it.

Raynaud had another impressive game as he finishes out his rookie campaign. In just 25 minutes, the 23-year-old center had 17 points and eight rebounds. Raynaud didn’t provide much in the other categories, but he’s shown himself to be a worthwhile fantasy option when starting.

Recording his 12th double-double of the season, Queen finished Tuesday’s victory three assists shy of his third triple-double. And much to the delight of the Pelicans, the rookie center enjoyed one of his most impactful games as a defender. More active on that end of the floor, Queen recorded three steals and two blocked shots. Having veteran Kevon Looney (7/12/6/2/1 with one three-pointer) on the floor likely helped, but that should not be used to take away from Queen’s performance.

Hawkins was one of many Pelicans players who played extended minutes on Tuesday due to the team’s loaded injury report. And the third-year guard took advantage of the opportunity, recording a season-high point total and finishing a block shy of a complete stat line. Peavy has not been a consistent member of the Pelicans’ rotation this season, which makes this part of the season that much more important for him. The 20 points were a season-high for the rookie wing, who finished a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Peavy’s contract for the 2025-26 season is guaranteed, so he is secure in that regard. Given the many absences from the Pelicans’ rotation, Tuesday’s game was set up to be a showcase for Fears. The rookie guard took full advantage, as he set the Pelicans franchise rookie record for points in a game. And this wasn’t an inefficient 40, either. Fears shot over 50 percent from the field and committed just two turnovers. He was 1-of-7 from beyond the arc, but that’s the only negative to take away from the rookie’s performance.

Inserted into the Pelicans’ starting lineup due to the team’s many absences, Poole looked sharp on Tuesday. Williamson’s final line was adequate, but most fantasy managers who roster the forward expect more. He was more productive on Sunday than in Friday’s loss to the Kings, but the biggest positive regarding Williamson this season has been his availability. A starter in four of the Pelicans’ last five games, Missi recorded his fifth double-double of the season and first since March 19. Injuries to Dejounte Murray and Trey Murphy have freed up minutes and a place in the starting lineup for the 6-foot-11 center, and he’s done some good things as a finisher and a defender. DeRozan’s 12 free throws were the most he’s attempted in a game since March 15, when he put up 21 attempts in a win over the Jazz. Also, Wednesday’s game was the first in which he’s made multiple three-pointers since January 6, so fantasy managers will be pleased with that bonus.
