Wembanyama did not have the best day shooting the basketball, but field-goal percentage has rarely been an issue for him this season. Add in the rebounds and assists, and this was a solid end to Week 22 for the MVP candidate, even with the poor shooting. The Spurs play four games in Week 23, and Monday’s matchup with the Bulls could be an excellent start to championship week for Wembanyama managers.

Vassell gave the Spurs welcome three-point shooting on Saturday, going 4-for-7. Even better for fantasy managers were the four defensive contributions, including three steals. Before Saturday, Vassell totaled five steals and zero blocked shots in his previous seven appearances. If he can build on Saturday’s performance on the defensive end of the floor, that could be a difference maker for fantasy managers in Week 23, championship week in Yahoo! default leagues.

Castle put up his fourth triple-double of the season in Saturday’s rout of the Bucks, and he did so efficiently. Since the All-Star break, the reigning Rookie of the Year has been a sixth-round player in eight-cat formats. Walker had to leave Friday’s loss to the Clippers in the first quarter, as he hit his head on the court and then the stanchion after being fouled by John Collins on a dunk attempt. If he cannot play on Sunday, Kobe Brown could move into the starting lineup, but Toppin (if available) offers greater fantasy upside. Toppin played 23 minutes on Friday, the most for him since returning from the foot injury that he suffered in late October.

Despite limited playing time, Toppin has scored in double figures in five of his last six appearances. Friday’s output was aided, in part, by Jarace Walker (concussion) having to leave during the first quarter. Toppin matched his season-high with 20 points, and the 23 minutes are the most he’s played since before injuring his foot in late October. If Walker has to miss time, starting with Sunday’s game against the Heat, Toppin may be worth the risk in deep leagues. Kobe Brown started the third quarter in place of Walker, finishing with 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer in 27 minutes.

For the first time this season, Nembhard has recorded at least 10 assists in three consecutive games. And he’s kept the turnovers in check during this run, totaling 43 assists and six turnovers. Nembhard’s field-goal percentage against the Clippers wasn’t the best, but fantasy managers will be pleased with the assists and “stocks.” He’ll look to end Week 22 on a high note when the Pacers host the Heat on Sunday.

Nesmith has now reached double figures in three straight and eight of his last nine appearances, scoring at least 20 points in three. Against the Clippers, he was highly efficient shooting the basketball, making over 71 percent of his attempts. Like Aaron Nesmith, Toppin is on the Pacers’ injury report for Friday due to a sore lower back. Castle had an up-and-down performance on Wednesday. He elevated his teammates by facilitating at a high level, but gave the opposition opportunities by committing five turnovers. And while he was extremely efficient from the floor, the second-year guard left almost a good chunk of points at the charity stripe. Castle ultimately came close to securing a double-double, despite some shortcomings in his 26 minutes of game action. However, there’s another level he’s shown capable of reaching, one fantasy managers are hoping to see in the thick of the fantasy playoffs.

Vassell had the hot hand on Wednesday, particularly from beyond the arc. His three-point production helped tie a team-high in points, while his activity on the glass put him within striking distance of a double-double. However, a one-sided contest ultimately limited Vassell to 26 minutes. Perhaps he’ll be able to carry his momentum over to Saturday’s game against the Bucks, when the Spurs try for their eighth consecutive win.

Wemby was stellar in his relatively limited minutes on Wednesday, as a 25-point win limited him to only 27 minutes. His time on the floor was productive, however, as he racked up another double-double while blocking all but two of his team’s nine shots. The former first-overall pick also added a few steals to combine for 10 stocks, the second time he’s done that this season. Wembanyama, regardless of minutes, is arguably as reliable a fantasy option as any. He’ll have a chance to put together another spectacular line on Saturday when the Spurs face the Bucks.

Of the three games the Pacers have played since losing Ivica Zubac to a season-ending rib injury, Huff has started the last two. After logging 28 minutes on Monday, he played 32 against the Lakers and enjoyed one of his best offensive games of the season. One game removed from dishing out 14 assists in Monday’s win over the Magic, Nembhard posted a new career-high in that category against the Lakers. Walker has scored at least 20 points in back-to-back games, the first time he’s accomplished that feat this season. There weren’t any defensive stats to speak of, but what the former lottery pick is capable of offensively is why he’s worth rostering in some 12-team leagues at this point in the season. Since March 1, Walker has averaged 15.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.2 three-pointers per game while shooting 51.2 percent from the field. At long last, the Pacers’ 16-game losing streak has come to an end. The motivation to end it on Monday likely influenced the minutes played by Siakam and the other starters, with four of them playing between 33 and 35 minutes. Siakam shot 50 percent from the field and made all nine of his free throw attempts in one of his more efficient efforts of the season.
