Wembanyama took over as San Antonio’s primary catalyst in the second half, scoring a game-high 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting. The 22-year-old generational talent remains limited from a minutes standpoint as he works his way back from a knee issue, but he’s still delivered some monster fantasy performances off the bench. He’s averaged 22.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.7 blocks in just 24.5 minutes over his last three games since returning from a brief two-game absence. Camara had another well-rounded performance in Wednesday’s win, despite shooting inefficiently from beyond the arc. He made all of his two-point shots, finished statistically as one of the best rebounders and facilitators on the team, and was the only Trail Blazer to record multiple blocks and steals. However, as was proven most recently in Tuesday’s loss to the Grizzlies, he doesn’t need to be on the court long to impact fantasy basketball. In addition to filling up his stat line, Castle kept the turnovers in check, recording just two in the win over the Lakers. Also crucial to fantasy managers were the second-year guard’s percentages, as he made 60 percent of his field-goal attempts and did not miss a free throw. Castle missed both of his three-point attempts, but that area may come along slowly due to the responsibilities on his plate. In addition to initiating offense, he’s being asked to take on San Antonio’s most challenging perimeter matchup on defense. Wembanyama was a force inside the paint and also knocked down 3-of-6 from three-point range in his return to San Antonio’s lineup following a brief two-game absence due to left knee soreness. The 22-year-old generational talent came off the bench in this one and fantasy managers should anticipate the Spurs putting a governor on his workload as he continues to deal with lingering physical issues. Coming off arguably his worst performance of the season, Sharpe bounced back in a big way in this blowout victory. Sharpe’s been a high-level scorer, and he’s averaging a career high in steals, but his value in category leagues has been limited by a lack of production in other categories. Clingan dominated early on in this game and entered the halftime break with a double-double. This was his third straight double-double, and he has one in five of his last six games. However, it’s the deep-range shooting that has been the real revelation. He hit a total of 14 triples as a rookie, but he has five over his last two games and 12 over his last seven. Fox hit two corner threes during the fourth quarter, which boosted the final points tally for the night. Over the past two weeks, the Spurs guard has offered eighth-round per-game value in eight-cat formats. Fox’s problem recently has been the foul line, as he’s making just 65.4 percent of his attempts.
