Grant took the floor for the first time since late March and provided some huge moments on both ends of the floor during the fourth quarter. The veteran forward hit two massive three-pointers with under three minutes remaining, made a big defensive stop on Jordan Goodwin’s game-tying putback attempt with seconds left, and then provided a punctuation-mark dunk on the other end to punch Portland’s ticket to the playoffs. Grant was one of two Trail Blazers to make four three-pointers on the evening. He’ll likely play an important role in the first-round series against the Spurs.

Holiday logged 38 minutes in the win and provided much-needed scoring for the Blazers. The two-time NBA champion drained four three-pointers, including a big one down the stretch of the fourth quarter, to help keep Portland within striking distance. He didn’t compile many other counting stats, yet his veteran presence in clutch time helped Portland come from behind and secure a playoff spot. The Trail Blazers will face San Antonio in the opening round.

Avdija was everything the Blazers needed down the stretch to mount a come-from-behind win. The first-time All-Star repeatedly got to the rim throughout the fourth quarter and ultimately scored the go-ahead layup with 16.1 seconds remaining. He finished with game-highs in points and assists while leading the Blazers from 11 points down midway through the final frame to mount a comeback that would secure them the seventh seed in the playoffs. Portland will face San Antonio in the opening round.

The Spurs were already locked into their playoff seed and Fox wasn’t having an efficient game, but he still played 33 minutes in the regular season finale. San Antonio still managed to lose the game to a Nuggets team that played Nikola Jokic fewer than 20 minutes. Fox still had a good game, adding in rebounds, assists and a block, which he tends to do when Victor Wembanyama is out. In his first full season with the Spurs, Fox has provided seventh-round per game value.

The clear betting favorite for Sixth Man of the Year, Johnson was able to turn in another strong performance in this game. While the scoring output was modest, Clingan finished Wednesday’s defeat with his 35th double-double of the season, more than triple his 2024-25 tally of eight. And his improvements as a perimeter shooter have major ramifications for the 7-foot-2 center’s fantasy value going forward. While an average of 1.1 three-pointers per game isn’t much, Clingan has made more three-pointers this season (80) than he attempted during his entire rookie campaign (49). Henderson has scored in double figures in five straight and nine of his last ten appearances. However, he has shot just 40.6 percent from the field during this stretch. That, especially the three-point shooting, is an area where Henderson will need to make strides ahead of the 2026-27 season. While Camara’s three-point percentage for the season is on par with his 2024-25 mark, he has been far more willing to attempt those shots. Entering Wednesday with an average of 7.2 three-point attempts per game, the Trail Blazers forward attempted eight against the Spurs. And in three games this month, Camara has shot 18-of-33 from deep. A win over the Clippers on Friday would keep Portland’s hopes of grabbing the eighth seed alive; they need two wins and the Clippers to go 0-2 over the final two games. Scoring-wise, Avdija had a good night, finishing with a true shooting percentage of 63.7 percent. However, six turnovers countered the six assists, and that category has been an issue for him at times this season. With no Victor Wembanyama for Wednesday’s game, Bryant effectively served as the backup center against the Trail Blazers. And the look caused the visitors some trouble defensively, with the rookie forward stepping out to shoot 5-of-6 from beyond the arc. Harper was one of two replacements in the Spurs’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s game, filling the void left by Stephon Castle (knee). No Victor Wembanyama or Stephon Castle for Wednesday’s game meant more scoring opportunities for Fox, whose 20 shot attempts were the most in a game for him since a March 5 win over the Pistons. And the Spurs’ guard was efficient, shooting 50 percent from the field. Fox’s turnover count was a tad high, as he was responsible for four, but he finished with an assist-to-turnover ratio of nearly 2-to-1.
