Harper played a more prominent role for the Spurs in their first action without franchise cornerstone Victor Wembanyama after he suffered a hyperextended left knee earlier this week. The 19-year-old rookie connected on 8-of-12 shots from inside the arc and shot 60 percent overall on the night, finishing just two points shy of matching his previous career-high mark set back on December 18. The second-overall pick from last summer’s NBA Draft has shown flashes of elite scoring potential but he hasn’t quite arrived as a consistent and reliable fantasy option at this stage of his development.

San Antonio had little trouble taking care of business against the floundering Pacers with Fox reaching the 20-point plateau for the fourth time in his last six contests since December 21. It would’ve been an even bigger night from a scoring standpoint had he not been ice-cold from three-point range where he went just 2-of-9 in an uncharacteristically poor effort. The 28-year-old guard will be asked to shoulder more of the scoring workload with Victor Wembanyama (knee) likely to miss a couple additional games. The Spurs are back in action on Saturday night when they face the Trail Blazers to close out a back-to-back.

Champagnie, who set a franchise record with 11 three-pointers en route to a career-high 36-point effort earlier this week against the Knicks, came crashing back to earth in this one. The 24-year-old went 2-of-11 from beyond the arc but managed to salvage an otherwise forgettable effort by corralling eight boards. There should be some additional opportunities for him in the short-term while Victor Wembanyama (knee) is sidelined but his streakiness limits his appeal to extremely deep leagues.

Collier notched his third double-double of the season on Thursday. He took advantage of an increase in minutes as Utah’s lead guard in Keyonte George’s absence (illness), and found his flow on offense against the Clippers. Collier did commit five turnovers, however, suggesting that L.A.'s defense presented a few challenges. Yet he finished with a strong line and could have another nice outing against the Warriors on Saturday if George remains out.

Anderson came off the bench to lead the injury-hit Jazz in scoring on Thursday, finishing as one of two on the team to score at least 20 points. The veteran forward hadn’t seen the court since December 15 and hadn’t scored a point since December 5. He collected a season-high in rebounds and blocks as well, but fantasy managers shouldn’t expect Anderson to become a reliable option across fantasy leagues. He’ll look to land a consecutive strong outing against the Warriors on Saturday.

Sensabaugh led all Utah starters in scoring on Thursday, despite being unable to connect on either of his five three-point attempts. His scoring production was done entirely inside the arc and also at the free-throw line. The third-year forward has now scored 20 points in each of his two games against the Clippers this season, and has reached that mark twice in his last four appearances. The list of injuries is long for the Jazz, who will be without several regular starters when taking the floor at Intuit Dome on Thursday, including Lauri Markkanen and Keyonte George. Mykhailiuk and Filipowski are the only ones in Thursday’s starting lineup who occupied spots in the opening unit during the season-opening win vs. the Clippers in October. Fox bounced back after scoring only 14 points in the loss to the Cavaliers Monday to drop 25 points in the win over the Knicks Wednesday. Champagnie dropped a career-high 36 points in this one. The 24-year-old small forward’s 11 three-pointers are the second-most anyone has had in a game this year, trailing only Stephen Curry with 12, and a Spurs franchise record. On a night when the Spurs trailed by nine entering the fourth quarter and lost Victor Wembanyama to injury not even two minutes into the fourth quarter, Champagnie kept the Spurs afloat and led the late comeback. Boston didn’t have an answer for Nurkić in this game. He came close to recording a triple-double and only missed one shot while exceeding 20 points for the first time this season. If there’s one aspect of Castle’s game where he hasn’t made significant progress, it’s from beyond the arc. The second-year guard entered Saturday shooting 29.8 percent from deep, and that number will drop following a 1-of-8 effort against the Jazz. The good news is that Castle did enough inside the arc to record his second 20-point game in three appearances, and he recorded another seven assists.
