Anunoby recorded his sixth 20-point game of the season on Saturday, with the 24 being the most he’s scored since November 5 and two shy of his season-high. Since returning from a strained hamstring, the Knicks forward/guard has provided top-50 per-game value in eight-cat formats. While Tuesday’s NBA Cup final will not count toward official stats or fantasy basketball, the Knicks play three games over the final four days of Week 9.

Towns was outstanding in Saturday’s NBA Cup semifinal, making over 80 percent of his attempts from the field. While he ranks among the best perimeter-shooting big men in league history, not settling for those shots is crucial for KAT. That wasn’t an issue on Saturday, with Towns attacking the Orlando defense consistently. While the Knicks play four games in Week 9, Tuesday’s NBA Cup final against San Antonio or Oklahoma City will not count toward official records or stats, or fantasy basketball.

The Knicks and Magic have met four times this season, and Brunson has scored at least 30 points in all four. The star point guard scored 25 points in the first half on Saturday, and Orlando could not come up with an answer for him defensively. Brunson has 88 30-point games in his Knicks career, with Saturday’s effort pushing past Richie Guerin into third on the franchise’s all-time list. Tuesday’s NBA Cup final against Oklahoma City or San Antonio will not count toward official stats or fantasy basketball, but the Knicks play three games in Week 9, starting on Thursday.

McBride has been sidelined since December 7th, and it now appears he will be out at least a week longer. Even though he is no longer starting, McBride is a key part of the Knicks’ rotation and has made clear gains as a scorer this season. In his absence, Jordan Clarkson will continue to be relied on for bench scoring, and Tyler Kolek will see an uptick in minutes.

Brunson took over this game early, and he entered halftime with 26 points. He wasn’t as dominant in the second half, but he did enough to help the Knicks advance to the semifinals of the NBA Cup. This was Brunson’s third straight game with at least 30 points, and he’ll look to keep that going against the Magic in Las Vegas on Saturday, with a chance to advance to the NBA Cup championship on Monday.

Hart simply couldn’t miss in this game. This was just his third 20-point game of the season, and he has shot at least 60 percent from the floor in each of those. All of them have come since Nov. 24, which is when he moved into the starting lineup. Hart’s return to the starting lineup was also a return to fantasy dominance for him. As long as that doesn’t change, Hart will be a fantasy stud.

After missing Sunday’s win over the Magic with a calf injury, Towns returned to the lineup for the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup. It wasn’t a great offensive performance, but he dominated the glass in his 31 minutes. Ingram starred for Toronto, but it wasn’t enough to get the win. This was his second straight 30-point game and his third of the season. Ingram has bounced back after a disappointing 2024-25 campaign in which he only played 18 games. His tenure in New Orleans was limited by injuries, but his start as a Raptor has them in the playoff race. He’ll remain an offensive star for them, which will continue to lead to strong fantasy contributions.

Walter had been starting with RJ Barrett (knee) sidelined, but he was replaced by Ochai Agbaji for this game. However, he fared much better as a reserve than Agbaji did as a starter. Walter still isn’t worth rostering in standard leagues, but he made his case to return to the starting lineup. It’s unclear if that will happen, and even if it does, Walter should be left on the waiver wire.

With Immanuel Quickley (illness) sidelined, Shead got the starting nod for the first time this season. In the increased opportunity, Shead was able to set a new season high for scoring and reached eight assists for the fifth time this season. Finishing two assists shy of a triple-double, Barnes recorded his 12th double-double of the season on Sunday. He continues to provide first-round value in 12-team, nine-cat formats while sitting a few spots outside of that threshold in eight-cat. Coming off of his worst offensive performance of the season in Friday’s loss to the Hornets, Ingram bounced back nicely on Sunday. He recorded his second 30-point game of the season and shot 55 percent from the field. While Ingram didn’t record any defensive stats, that isn’t a departure from the norm for him. While Walter entered Thursday having started four of Toronto’s previous five games due to RJ Barrett’s knee injury, he hadn’t taken advantage of the opportunity. The one double-digit scoring effort in that run occurred in the game that the second-year guard did not start, and he averaged 6.6 points on 36.4 percent shooting. Ingram had a difficult night from beyond the arc, missing all five of his three-point attempts in the 123-120 defeat. However, he shot well over 50 percent from two, preserving the overall field-goal percentage, and the rebounds and assists were also helpful to fantasy managers. Hart has scored at least 19 points in four straight games, and the overall value has made him one of the best options in fantasy basketball over this period. Over the past week, the Knicks forward has been a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, cracking the top-5 in the former.
