Jackson is set to start in his Jazz debut against the Magic on Saturday. At the same time, George is returning from a three-game absence due to an ankle injury. The 22-year-old point guard will be limited to around 24 minutes, according to Jazz coach Will Hardy. That could mean some extra minutes for Isaiah Collier.

Two days removed from combining with Egor Dëmin to become the first Nets rookie tandem to score 20 points or more in the same game since 1982, Traoré had another solid outing. While the overall numbers were modest, the rookie point guard committed just one turnover in 24 minutes. With Dëmin (4/2/2/1/1) getting his minutes at the off-guard spot, the Nets have relied on Traoré and another rookie, Ben Saraf (10/4/4/2 with one three-pointer in 24 minutes) to run the show. Dëmin is the safest fantasy option of the three perimeter rookies, but Traoré is worth watching.

Unlike earlier this season, Wolf’s minutes weren’t wholly dependent upon Michael Porter Jr.'s workload. The rookie forward/center essentially served as Noah Clowney’s backup on Saturday, with both players producing solid stat lines. Clowney logged 27 minutes, finishing with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and four three-pointers. Wolf has “silly season standout” potential, especially if the Nets decide to cut Porter’s and Clowney’s minutes, if not sit them outright on occasion.

Sharpe continues to back up Nic Claxton (11 points, five rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes), but that didn’t prevent him from recording a solid stat line on Saturday. The 6-foot-9 forward/center finished one rebound shy of a double-double, and fantasy managers can also benefit from the assists and steals. Getting ahead of the rush and adding Sharpe now instead of waiting for the silly season would not be a bad idea, especially with the minutes he’s currently getting.

With the Nets’ decision-makers hoping to land the best draft lottery odds possible, days like Saturday may become the norm for Porter. After putting up 20 points in the first half, his playing time decreased after halftime, and the veteran forward scored just three points. As evidenced by what he was able to do in the first two quarters, Porter doesn’t need to log heavy minutes to provide value. However, the Nets’ approach to his playing time could lower his ceiling. The Nets play five games in Week 17, with two before the All-Star break.

Love was upgraded to probable early Saturday, so his availability isn’t a surprise for the game against the Magic. With the Jazz’ acquisition of Jaren Jackson Jr. and other players available, Love isn’t likely to see enough minutes to be fantasy-relevant unless something changes.

George, who’s missed the last three games, was initially listed as probable with an ankle injury, so his availability for Saturday’s game against the Magic isn’t much of a surprise. His availability will push Isaiah Collier back to the bench despite doing an excellent job while George was out.

After missing Utah’s last two games, Love is on track to be available for Saturday’s game. However, with Jaren Jackson Jr., Kyle Filipowski and Jusuf Nurkić available, there may not be enough minutes for Love to affect fantasy basketball. Nurkić has been a DNP-CD in the last two games; if he isn’t starting, don’t expect him to play.

Initially questionable for Saturday’s game, George is on track to be available after a three-game absence. While the Jazz have held Jusuf Nurkić out of games recently, even though he was listed as available, that should not be an issue for George. That said, fantasy managers need to ensure that he’s in the starting lineup before locking the point guard into their lineups. George’s return would push Isaiah Collier to the bench.

Playing in his home state of Georgia for the first time as an NBA player, Bailey put up 20 points and a complete stat line. While the shooting efficiency was lacking, his getting up 26 shots and logging 40 minutes may be a sign of what’s to come if the Jazz shut down their vets later this season. For those who can afford to take a hit in the field-goal percentage category, Bailey is worth picking up. The Jazz end Week 16 on Saturday against the Jazz.

While teammate Isaiah Collier played all 48 minutes, Markkanen didn’t even play half that. The Jazz forward logged 23 minutes in Atlanta, and that’s one of the concerns for fantasy managers who have him rostered. The good news is that Markkanen actually played, unlike Jusuf Nurkić, who was active. Hopefully, for the sake of those who have Lauri rostered, the Jazz will rule him out when he isn’t playing, rather than resorting to the Nurkić-related shenanigans of the last two games.

One game removed from dishing out a career-high 22 assists, Collier recorded his second consecutive points/assists double-double. Add in the rebounds and steals, and this was another excellent night for the second-year guard. Collier’s fantasy ceiling for the rest of the season depends on how much Utah plays Keyonte George, but he’s worth picking up if sitting on the waiver wire.

For the second time this season, Traoré scored 21 points in a game. However, the assists and assist-to-turnover ratio are of greater importance to the Nets when evaluating the rookie guard. Traoré committed four turnovers on the night, which is no small feat when considering the defensive abilities of Orlando’s Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black. With the Nets headed back to the draft lottery, Traoré should play plenty for the rest of the season. While not a must-add, his name is one to keep in mind for the post-All-Star break portion of the schedule.

Dëmin continues to be the shining star of Brooklyn’s five-player draft class. The rookie guard shot 66.7 percent from the field, setting a season high with 26 points. For Cleveland, this trade is about freeing up salary cap space. And with the team acquiring James Harden, Keon Ellis and Dennis Schröder this week, there was not going to be room for Ball in the rotation. While Nic Claxton (10 points, five rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes) will start whenever he’s available, now may be the time for fantasy managers seeking “silly season” value to invest in Sharpe, if they haven’t already. He recorded his third double-double of the season against the Lakers, recording season-highs in points and rebounds while also posting solid numbers in assists and steals. Back in the lineup after missing two games for personal reasons, Porter recorded his second double-double in as many appearances and ninth of the season. And Tuesday should have been even better for the Nets forward, as he shot a brutal 0-of-9 from beyond the arc. Porter entered the game shooting 39.8 percent from three on the season, so this performance was a clear departure from the norm. The only thing that should concern fantasy managers is MPJ’s availability, especially if he remains in Brooklyn after the trade deadline.

Collier was in the Jazz starting lineup for Tuesday’s game, as Keyonte George was ruled out. The second-year guard took advantage of his opportunity, racking up a career-high 22 assists while committing just two turnovers. Collier doesn’t offer the best value as a scorer, but managers looking for assists and steals should consider him for the “silly season.” And with Utah trading Walter Clayton Jr. on Tuesday as part of the Jaren Jackson Jr. deal, playing time should not be a concern for Collier after the All-Star break.

While Jusuf Nurkić was made available for Tuesday’s game, he never played. While that was an infuriating development for those who have the veteran center rostered, that was good news for those who have Filipowski. The second-year forward/center recorded a double-double, with the 16 rebounds being two shy of his career-high. Even with the Jazz adding Jaren Jackson Jr. via trade, the clear focus for the rest of the season is to do what they can to hold onto their top-8 protected lottery pick. That means playing time should not be a concern for Filipowski, especially after the All-Star break.

On a day when the Jazz added Jaren Jackson Jr. to the fold, Markkanen provided a reminder of what the rebuilding team already has. The Jazz forward was efficient on offense, doing his damage in 27 minutes on a night when Utah only played seven players.
