Collier notched his third double-double of the season on Thursday. He took advantage of an increase in minutes as Utah’s lead guard in Keyonte George’s absence (illness), and found his flow on offense against the Clippers. Collier did commit five turnovers, however, suggesting that L.A.'s defense presented a few challenges. Yet he finished with a strong line and could have another nice outing against the Warriors on Saturday if George remains out.

Anderson came off the bench to lead the injury-hit Jazz in scoring on Thursday, finishing as one of two on the team to score at least 20 points. The veteran forward hadn’t seen the court since December 15 and hadn’t scored a point since December 5. He collected a season-high in rebounds and blocks as well, but fantasy managers shouldn’t expect Anderson to become a reliable option across fantasy leagues. He’ll look to land a consecutive strong outing against the Warriors on Saturday.

Sensabaugh led all Utah starters in scoring on Thursday, despite being unable to connect on either of his five three-point attempts. His scoring production was done entirely inside the arc and also at the free-throw line. The third-year forward has now scored 20 points in each of his two games against the Clippers this season, and has reached that mark twice in his last four appearances. He’ll have a chance to keep up his production if Utah’s primary rotation players continue to miss games.

He followed up a 19-point performance against the Lakers with 18 more on Thursday, and the overall stat line was solid. For the first time in four games, Thompson managed to crack double figures in the points category. And he’s been a disappointment in fantasy basketball thus far, sitting well outside the top-150 in eight-cat per-game value. For a player who many fantasy managers were banking on for top-100 value, the season has reached an uncomfortable point. While few category league managers want to move on from a player with Thompson’s defensive potential, it will be challenging to get decent value back in a trade.

While Cunningham has recorded double-doubles in two straight and four of his last five games, turnovers have been an issue. After recording five in Tuesday’s win over the Lakers, he was responsible for seven on Thursday. The good news for managers in eight-cat formats is that turnovers aren’t a factor in those leagues. As for managers in nine-cat formats, Cunningham’s value takes a slight hit because of that category.

The list of injuries is long for the Jazz, who will be without several regular starters when taking the floor at Intuit Dome on Thursday, including Lauri Markkanen and Keyonte George. Mykhailiuk and Filipowski are the only ones in Thursday’s starting lineup who occupied spots in the opening unit during the season-opening win vs. the Clippers in October. Utah has lost five of its last seven games and will need to beat Los Angeles, which is currently on a five-game winning streak, to inch closer to a top-10 seed in the Western Conference.

And the third-year guard gave the Pistons an immense boost off the bench, scoring a season-high 19 points in 24 minutes. Sasser’s stat line had everything but a blocked shot, but he showed that he can provide shooting off the bench when his name is called. That did not significantly affect his playing time, with Beef Stew logging 18 minutes. However, Stewart didn’t miss a shot, and he was one of six reserves to play at least eight minutes. Boston didn’t have an answer for Nurkić in this game. He came close to recording a triple-double and only missed one shot while exceeding 20 points for the first time this season. Holland was back in the Pistons’ rotation after missing two games with a knee injury. He was productive in his 19 minutes on the floor, joining Jaden Ivey and Caris LeVert as reserves who finished with 11 points. The issue for Holland from a fantasy standpoint is Detroit’s depth. However, there was a negative for those competing in nine-cat formats: turnovers. Cunningham committed a season-high nine against the Kings, and that has been a category that fantasy managers have needed to punt in previous seasons.
