Sexton sat out the first leg of Utah’s back-to-back on Sunday after making his return from an extended absence on Friday. He logged 17 minutes as a starter in that game and will likely remain on a minutes restriction if he is back against Detroit. However, his return would likely push Johnny Juzang back to a bench role.

Kessler sat out the first leg of Utah’s back-to-back, but he should be back in the lineup against Detroit. That should push Kyle Filipowski to the bench and limit the minutes of Oscar Tshiebwe, who contributed 16 points and 13 rebounds in 20 minutes on Sunday. Tshiebwe may be with Utah’s G-League affiliate for Monday’s game, which would eliminate any streaming value that he held.

While Collier dished out 14 assists in Friday’s win over the Timberwolves, he was also responsible for six turnovers. The assist tally was halved on Sunday, but the rookie did not commit a turnover. Collier may not offer much value as a scorer or perimeter shooter, but he’s shown to be a capable floor general. These final five weeks will be crucial for Collier’s development, especially with the Jazz giving him the keys to the offense. Managers who can afford to take a hit in the percentage categories can benefit from rostering the rookie.

Filipowski has recorded a double-double in three of his last four games. While the rookie’s fantasy value hasn’t increased as much as some managers would prefer, he’s worth having on nights when the Jazz are without Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler. Also performing well on Sunday was Oscar Tshiebwe, who chipped in with 16 points, 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes off the bench. While Filipowski (13 percent rostered) should be the priority target, deep-league managers shouldn’t sleep on Tshiebwe if he’s going to play 20 minutes (or more) on nights when Markkanen and Kessler are out.

George hasn’t started a game since January 22, but the “microwave” role off the bench appears to fit him well. Since January 25, the Jazz guard has provided 11th-round value in eight-cat formats. And George has been close to a top-100 player since the All-Star break. He’s still rostered in 79 percent of Yahoo! leagues, which may increase slightly ahead of the fantasy playoffs. The Jazz play four games during Week 18, starting with the Pistons on Monday.

The Jazz held out four starters on Sunday, with Sensabaugh being one of the replacements. While defense remains an issue for the second-year forward, he can put points on the board. A double-digit scorer in six straight appearances, Sensabaugh has scored 21 points in two of those outings. Under normal circumstances, holding onto Sensabaugh in deep leagues wouldn’t be necessary. However, given the current priorities in Utah (draft lottery odds and player development), rostering Sensabaugh isn’t a bad idea.

The Jazz are without four starters (Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler) for Sunday’s game. Juzang, Sensabaugh, Martin and Filipowski join Collier in the starting lineup, and all are worth streaming in this spot due to Utah’s limited roster.

In addition to shooting the ball well in Cleveland, the second-year wing racked up fantasy value with his steals. He has recorded at least one steal in 13 straight games, continuing to establish himself as one of the NBA’s better defenders. Since the All-Star break, Camara has provided top-15 value in eight-cat formats. With Portland playing four games during Week 18, he should be rostered in more than 49 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

While he didn’t shoot the ball efficiently, Simons has now scored 25 points or more in three of his last five outings. Despite shooting 40.4 percent from the field, the Blazers guard has been a top 100 player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. The lingering question for Simons managers: will there come a point when the Blazers decide to shut him down? The door isn’t completely closed on the final play-in spot in the West, but Sunday’s defeat dropped Portland to five games behind Dallas in the loss column.

Avdija was outstanding in Cleveland, shooting over 50 percent from the field and recording his first career triple-double. While he has only been a 10th-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, the Blazers wing is a must-roster player at this stage. Avdija has an even higher ceiling when the Blazers are shorthanded, as they were on Sunday when they played without Jerami Grant. Portland plays four games during Week 18, starting with the 76ers on Monday.

Deni Avdija will replace Kris Murray in the starting lineup against Cleveland. The rest of Portland’s starters will remain the same from their previous game. Utah signed Springer to a 10-day contract in February after the Rockets acquired him at the deadline and waived him in a move that netted a second-round pick. Utah was at full strength against Minnesota on Friday, since they have the Timberwolves’ first round pick in the draft this summer. Kessler was one point away from a double-double Friday. In a game with the interesting subplot of the Jazz controlling Minnesota’s first-round pick this year, the 23-year-old had a game-winning dunk with nine seconds left. Collier had at least 10 assists for the third time in his last five games. The 20-year-old point guard also had six turnovers, which has been an issue this season. Going forward, Collier’s fantasy value is questionable. He can provide assists, but they come with turnovers and he’s not a big-time scorer. Collier is also now part of a crowded back court with Collin Sexton back from an ankle injury and Jordan Clarkson and Keyonte George not going anywhere.

Collins returned from a three-game absence due to a back injury and had one of his best games. The 27-year-old power forward had 29 points on 18 shots and pulled down 12 rebounds to earn himself a double-double. Camara continues to produce for the Trail Blazers, who needed it Friday without Jerami Grant and Deni Avdija in the starting lineup. Sharpe entered the starting lineup Friday with Jerami Grant and Deni Avdija both out. The 21-year-old shooting guard has consistently stepped up his scoring output when the Trail Blazers are missing starters this year and it was the same story against the Nets. Wednesday’s performance was one of the worst of Clarkson’s career. He missed his first 13 shot attempts before making a layup with 1:09 remaining, and the outcome was no longer in doubt. As one would expect, the Delta Center crowd cheered the achievement. However, on a serious note, Clarkson is in a tough spot. Due to the inconsistent availability, as improving its draft lottery odds and developing its young talent appear to be the front office’s priorities, Clarkson hasn’t been able to get into a flow regarding his play in games. And that has negatively impacted his fantasy value, which was already low. Fantasy managers are better off with Isaiah Collier, who’s rostered in 39 percent of Yahoo! leagues and finished Wednesday’s loss with nine points, three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two three-pointers in 26 minutes.

Kessler nearly made history on Wednesday, finishing one rebound shy of a 25/15/5 line on 100 percent shooting. Only one player in NBA history has achieved that feat: Wilt Chamberlain, and he did it on six occasions during his illustrious career. That says a lot when you can be in the same sentence as Wilt, as Kessler nearly was. As for his fantasy value for the rest of the season, that concerns fantasy managers. And it isn’t the production. It’s the availability. The Jazz have already started resting key players, including Kessler, and there’s no reason why they’d stop doing that now, especially with the loaded 2025 draft class. For that reason, Wednesday’s performance may be a good time to “sell high” on Kessler.

Grant shot the ball poorly again on Wednesday, and he’s only made 27.5 percent of his attempts over the past two weeks. However, the rebound production has increased in recent games. During that same two-week stretch, the veteran forward averages 5.3 rebounds per game, nearly two more than his mark for the season (3.5). However, the combination of decreased scoring and limited output in the other fantasy-relevant categories makes Grant a problematic player to hold onto in 10-team formats, even though he remains rostered in 74 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

After scoring eight points in his first game out of the All-Star break, Simons tallied 25 and 28 in wins over the Hornets and Jazz. He wasn’t as productive against the Wizards, but there was some value in the rebound, assist and steal numbers. Over the past two weeks, Simons has been a top 100 player in eight-cat formats, which aligns with his season-long value. Unless there’s a significant spike in production in one of the categories where Simons doesn’t traditionally provide consistent value (rebounds or field goal percentage), his ceiling will be limited.

Wednesday’s game was the best of the season for Sharpe in terms of production and highlights. Shaedon notched a season-high point total (36) and put up that number efficiently. He shot 50 percent from the field and 70 percent from the foul line and was also effective in the rebound and assist categories. Add in arguably the best in-game dunk in the NBA this season, and this was an excellent night for Sharpe, who scored 18 points in each half. Another note is the left quad injury that sidelined Deni Avdija before halftime. Sharpe started the third quarter, which may indicate his place within the rotation if Avdija misses time.
