The Jazz will play Wednesday’s game without multiple rotation players, so the youngsters will get extended opportunities to prove themselves. Collier, Sensabaugh and Filipowski are the starters most worthy of being streamed, with the former being just as valuable when Utah is at full strength.

George was initially listed as questionable, but has since been ruled out with an illness Wednesday. The 21-year-old point guard joins almost of the Jazz roster in being ruled out against the Wizards. Isaiah Collier and Brice Sensabaugh should see all the backcourt minutes they can handle tonight.

Monk is dealing with a sore right toe and is not a lock to be available Wednesday night. Keon Ellis is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup if Monk doesn’t play. There may also be additional rotation minutes available to Markelle Fultz, but Ellis is the player fantasy managers should target.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Sexton will sit out against another tanking team. He played 20 minutes as a starter on Monday, but his absence should allow Brce Sensabaugh to return to the starting lineup.

Springer played 14 first-half minutes in Monday’s loss to the Pistons before exiting with lower back spasms. The good news is that he’s questionable for Wednesday and should play quality minutes if cleared. That isn’t enough to make Springer a must-roster player, but there will be opportunities due to how shorthanded the Jazz will be.

Kessler and Collins are two of five Jazz rotation players who will not be available for Wednesday’s game. Their absences mean KJ Martin and Kyle Filipowski will remain in the starting lineup. Filipowski offers a higher upside in fantasy leagues and should be rostered for the rest of the season. As for Martin, he’s slightly more valuable than the average streamer due to Collins’ recent inactivity.

Utah has a great opportunity to get a game closer to Washington in the race for Cooper Flagg, so managers shouldn’t be surprised that Markkanen and Clarkson will miss yet another game. Brice Sensabaugh and Johnny Juzang should remain in the starting lineup.

Springer did not return after playing 14 minutes in the first half, a disappointing end for a player who agreed to a three-year deal on Sunday. With his contract guaranteed for the rest of the season, Springer should have opportunities to show what he can do provided he’s healthy. Utah hits the road for its final three games of Week 18, starting with the Wizards on Wednesday in a battle of two of the NBA’s worst teams.

After sitting out Sunday’s loss to the Pelicans, Kessler returned to the Jazz lineup and played 28 minutes. Averaging just over 30 minutes per game for the season, he’s played 26 and 28 minutes in his last two appearances. The decrease isn’t significant, but it’s something else that fantasy managers will need to track heading into the playoffs. Kessler has been a top 40 player in nine-cat formats since the All-Star break, but the questionable availability (through no fault of his own) limits the impact.

Monday’s game was Sexton’s second since returning from a sprained ankle, and the minutes remained limited. Having played 17 minutes on Friday against the Timberwolves, he played 20 against the Pistons. In addition to the availability, the playing time once he’s on the floor is a concern for those who have Sexton rostered. The Jazz don’t have another back-to-back until Saturday/Sunday, but the team has shown on multiple occasions that they’re willing to sit their veterans at any time.

With Walker Kessler returning to the Jazz lineup on Monday, Filipowski was relegated to the bench. However, that did not prevent the rookie from providing reliable fantasy value, scoring a season-high 25 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Filipowski did not record any defensive stats, but fantasy managers received their money’s worth in points, rebounds and three-pointers. Given Utah’s place in the standings, Filipowski won’t lack opportunities as the season approaches its conclusion. He should be rostered in more than 17 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Business as usual for LaVine, who leads the Kings in scoring (23.8) and triples (4.0) across the last five games. He’s been a top-50 fantasy option in that span, and he should continue to post solid numbers as one of the team’s go-to playmakers on offense.

JV shot 6-of-15 from the floor, so there was certainly a lot of meat left on the bone offensively. Still, he tied for the team lead in field-goal attempts, nearly double-doubled and posted useful defensive stats. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with him until Domantas Sabonis returns.

Sexton and Kessler are back after missing Sunday’s win over the Pelicans. Their returns mean Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski will move to the bench, but both will have ample playing time. They’re worth holding onto, especially with the Jazz revving up the tank.

Valanciunas will make his first start for Sacramento due to Domantas Sabonis’ hamstring injury. JV posted a monster 15/14/1/4/3 line in his last game out, filling in for Sabonis, who left the game early. Valanciunas is a worthy streamer for as long as Sabonis is on the sideline.

Sexton and Oscar Tshiebwe will both get the green light on Monday, but Sexton’s availability is far more consequential for fantasy hoops. Sexton sat out the first leg of Utah’s back-to-back on Sunday after making his return from an extended absence on Friday. Kessler sat out the first leg of Utah’s back-to-back, but he should be back in the lineup against Detroit. That should push Kyle Filipowski to the bench and limit the minutes of Oscar Tshiebwe, who contributed 16 points and 13 rebounds in 20 minutes on Sunday. With starting center Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) out at least one week, the Kings needed another body in the frontcourt. Enter Labissiere, who was in training camp with the Kings and has been playing for their G League affiliate. He’s averaging 15.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in Stockton this season, but it will take a lot for Labissiere to achieve fantasy relevance with Sabonis sidelined.

Late Sunday evening, the Kings announced that Sabonis was diagnosed with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain, which he suffered during Saturday’s win over the Rockets. An update will be provided in one week, meaning he’ll miss at least four games, starting with Monday’s matchup with the Mavericks. Jonas Valanciunas is the player to add if he’s available on your league’s waiver wire; he was productive in 30 minutes against the Rockets and has been solid all season.

While Collier dished out 14 assists in Friday’s win over the Timberwolves, he was also responsible for six turnovers. The assist tally was halved on Sunday, but the rookie did not commit a turnover. Collier may not offer much value as a scorer or perimeter shooter, but he’s shown to be a capable floor general. These final five weeks will be crucial for Collier’s development, especially with the Jazz giving him the keys to the offense. Managers who can afford to take a hit in the percentage categories can benefit from rostering the rookie.

Filipowski has recorded a double-double in three of his last four games. While the rookie’s fantasy value hasn’t increased as much as some managers would prefer, he’s worth having on nights when the Jazz are without Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler. Also performing well on Sunday was Oscar Tshiebwe, who chipped in with 16 points, 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes off the bench. While Filipowski (13 percent rostered) should be the priority target, deep-league managers shouldn’t sleep on Tshiebwe if he’s going to play 20 minutes (or more) on nights when Markkanen and Kessler are out.

George hasn’t started a game since January 22, but the “microwave” role off the bench appears to fit him well. Since January 25, the Jazz guard has provided 11th-round value in eight-cat formats. And George has been close to a top-100 player since the All-Star break. He’s still rostered in 79 percent of Yahoo! leagues, which may increase slightly ahead of the fantasy playoffs. The Jazz play four games during Week 18, starting with the Pistons on Monday.

The Jazz held out four starters on Sunday, with Sensabaugh being one of the replacements. While defense remains an issue for the second-year forward, he can put points on the board. A double-digit scorer in six straight appearances, Sensabaugh has scored 21 points in two of those outings. Under normal circumstances, holding onto Sensabaugh in deep leagues wouldn’t be necessary. However, given the current priorities in Utah (draft lottery odds and player development), rostering Sensabaugh isn’t a bad idea.

Despite Sabonis pulling up lame just over one minute into Saturday’s win over the Rockets, the Kings have declared his injury a sore left hamstring. Jonas Valanciunas is the next man up, and the move into the starting lineup will raise his fantasy ceiling. However, JV is already rostered in a majority of 12-team leagues. Utah signed Springer to a 10-day contract in February after the Rockets acquired him at the deadline and waived him in a move that netted a second-round pick. DeRozan led a balanced attack for Sacramento in Saturday’s win as all six players that played at least 20 minutes scored in double figures. DeRozan was the leading scorer, but it wasn’t a massive scoring night for his standards. Still, it was enough for lead the Kings to their third straight win and move them into ninth place in the West. DeRozan may also see an uptick in usage if Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) is forced to miss time after his early exit on Saturday.

Ellis continues to be the primary reserve option for Sacramento, and he did the most with just 27 minutes on Saturday. The defensive maestro set a new career-high with five steals to help the Kings win their third straight game. Ellis has been incredibly efficient on offense recently and has shot 10-of-12 from the floor during this winning streak. Defensive production is where Ellis makes his money in fantasy basketball, and he has done that at a high level over their last two games, contributing seven steals and four blocks during that stretch.

Valanciunas ended up starting the second half and playing an extended role in Saturday’s win because of Domantas Sabonis’ early exit. Sabonis was ruled out with a hamstring injury that he suffered a little over a minute into the game. Valanciunas ended up playing 29 minutes and provided an excellent stat line. Sabonis could certainly miss multiple games, which makes Valanciunas an elite streaming option, especially with a four-game week coming up for the Kings. He’s currently available in 31 percent of Yahoo! leagues, so he may not be easy to find on the waiver wire.

Utah was at full strength against Minnesota on Friday, since they have the Timberwolves’ first round pick in the draft this summer. Kessler was one point away from a double-double Friday. In a game with the interesting subplot of the Jazz controlling Minnesota’s first-round pick this year, the 23-year-old had a game-winning dunk with nine seconds left. Kessler clearly has fantasy value, but his availability is in question down the stretch of the season with the Jazz resting key players at times.

Collier had at least 10 assists for the third time in his last five games. The 20-year-old point guard also had six turnovers, which has been an issue this season. Going forward, Collier’s fantasy value is questionable. He can provide assists, but they come with turnovers and he’s not a big-time scorer. Collier is also now part of a crowded back court with Collin Sexton back from an ankle injury and Jordan Clarkson and Keyonte George not going anywhere.

Valanciunas did not require much time to record a solid stat line on Wednesday, playing just 14 minutes off the bench. While that is impressive, the playing time and who he’s backing up (Domantas Sabonis) is why JV is not as valuable to fantasy managers in Sacramento as he was in Washington. Sabonis played 34 minutes, finishing with 12 points, nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and one blocked shot. Unless Domas were to suffer an injury, there’s little reason why Valancinuas should be rostered in 67 percent of Yahoo! leagues as he currently is.

Two nights removed from scoring a season-high 42 points in a rout of the Hornets, LaVine scored a leisurely 22 on Wednesday. He’s scored 22 or more in six of his nine games as a King and has been a fourth-round player in eight-cat formats since the trade. Sacramento now holds a three-game lead on Phoenix in the loss column for the final play-in spot in the West and is tied with ninth-place Dallas.

With the additions of DeMar DeRozan and (just before the trade deadline) Zach LaVine, no Kings player took a more significant hit to their fantasy value than Murray. He effectively became the fifth option, and that was before Malik Monk was moved into the starting lineup. That made Wednesday’s performance so much fun, as Murray established a new season-high with 26 points. While he remains rostered in 86 percent of Yahoo! leagues, and with good reasons, this was Murray’s first 20-point game since November 24 and his fourth of the season. Over the past three weeks, he has provided sixth-round value in nine-cat formats.

Ellis injured his ankle during Monday’s win over the Hornets and was initially questionable for Wednesday night. He’ll occupy his usual place within the Kings’ rotation, which likely means Trey Lyles will see his minutes decrease. As long as the Kings’ starters are healthy, Ellis will offer limited fantasy value.
