Sochan will miss a second straight game, but that won’t have much if an impact on San Antonio’s rotation. He hasn’t seen the floor much when healthy, and Devin Vassell is now healthy. Sochan could make a fantasy impact for a different team if he is traded at the deadline, but he isn’t worth rostering as a Spur.

Friday’s game isn’t part of a back-to-back, but that hasn’t stopped the Jazz from resting Markkanen or other key players this season. From a scoring standpoint, Keyonte George and Brice Sensabaugh will shoulder a heavier workload than usual. While the former is already rostered in most leagues, the latter should be a player that managers target for the silly season.

Castle was one of several Spurs players to have a successful outing against the Rockets on Wednesday. Although he only recorded two steals, Castle’s defense and energy on that end of the floor was terffic all night. On offense, he was able to get involved as both a scorer and a facilitator throughout the contest. As a result, he had one of the most diverse stat lines on the team. Castle will have a chance to top Wednesday’s performance when the Spurs take on the Hornets on Saturday.

Fox’s production was relatively mild on Wednesday, but was still good enough to come within arm’s reach of a 20-point double-double. He shot efficiently and made the most of his shot attempts, leading him to finish as the second-leading scorer on the team. Ball security was an issue for Fox in this game, but otherwise, he had a fine performance against the Rockets.

Wembanyama put together another one of his jaw-dropping stat lines on Wednesday. He was all over the floor on both ends, making incredible blocks and scoring one possession like a guard, and the other like an elite rim finisher. His versatility was on full display, and the Rockets had no answer. Wemby nearly notched 30 points and was less than a handful of rebounds away from 20. His seven stocks were an added bonus to what was a stellar game for him overall.

Sensabaugh has scored at least 22 points in six of his last eight appearances. The third-year wing is enjoying the most consistent run of his NBA career, and he has the look of a silly season standout. Rostered in 21 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Sensabaugh may have already been targeted by some fantasy managers looking ahead to the playoff weeks. And with the Jazz playing two more games in Week 15, there’s value to be had now as well.

One night removed from seeing his first action in eight games, Markkanen playing both games of a back-to-back was a pleasant surprise for fantasy managers. He didn’t have his best night against the Warriors, but the Jazz forward still recorded a complete stat line. The lingering question is what will Markkanen’s availability look like after the All-Star break? For that reason, managers need to keep an eye on players like Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski (12/4/3/2 with two three-pointers in 16 minutes).

While Bailey did score 20 points in Tuesday’s loss to the Clippers, he offered nothing else on the stat line. That wasn’t the case on Wednesday, as the rookie once again shot the ball well but supplemented that with solid rebound, assist and steal numbers. George returned to the Jazz starting lineup after missing Tuesday’s loss to the Clippers, pushing Isaiah Collier (12/4/6/4 in 29 minutes) to the bench. George’s fantasy value has remained high throughout the season, but it’s fair to have questions about his availability moving forward since he’s getting the occasional night off for rest. Fantasy managers should not have too much to worry about, but George’s availability in back-to-backs is something to watch.

Bailey was able to score at least 20 points for the third time in his last four games. Unfortunately, even if it was an efficient night, he didn’t provide value in any other categories. Following a seven-game absence, Markkanen was back in the lineup for this game. However, it wasn’t the triumphant return that managers were hoping for. He was held to fewer than 20 points for the first time since Dec. 5, but the positive part is that he’s back out on the floor. Markkanen shouldn’t struggle like this often, and he’ll look to get back on track in their next game. Inactive since December 29 due to a strained adductor, Vassell was used in a reserve role on Sunday. San Antonio’s starting backcourt of Fox and Stephon Castle (five points, four rebounds, five assists and one steal) combined to shoot 5-of-14 from the field on Sunday. While that wasn’t the only reason for the loss, it certainly didn’t help the Spurs’ cause. Over the past two weeks, Fox has been close to a top-50 player in eight-cat formats, with the foul line (63.3 percent) being his issue. After joining Pete Maravich in the Jazz record books in Thursday’s loss to the Spurs, Nurkić made more history on Saturday. The veteran center became the first player in franchise history to record a triple-double in three consecutive games. Nurkić has played in each of Utah’s last four games, but the availability is a concern due to the Jazz prioritizing the development of their young players. Having totaled 16 points on 5-of-14 shooting in his previous two appearances, Johnson needed a good Saturday night.
