Coulibaly has missed Washington’s last four games, but there is a chance he returns to take on Brooklyn. Tre Johnson has been starting since Coulibaly went down, and he could be pushed back to a reserve role if Coulibaly returns, though Khris Middleton is also a candidate to come off the bench. There is also a chance Coulibaly doesn’t start, though that hasn’t happened since he was a rookie.

Tyson was injured during Monday’s overtime loss to the Heat and has missed the last three games, including Saturday’s matchup with the Grizzlies. As for when he could potentially be back, there’s no timeline for the second-year wing. Tyson remains in the first stage of the return process as he works his way through concussion protocols. Nae’Qwan Tomlin has entered the rotation recently, and he’s worth tracking, but fantasy managers should not feel obligated to pick him up.

Merrill started a second straight game with Darius Garland (toe) sidelined, and this one was more productive than the first one. He started the year off as a starter and was effective, hitting 18 three-pointers over the first four games. He’s cooled off since returning from a hip injury, but the opportunity is still a good one for him. He should be a reliable source of triples as long as Garland is sidelined.

Tomlin hasn’t been part of the rotation this season in Cleveland, but after logging 18 minutes in their last game, he played 22 minutes in this one and turned in a strong line. It was his best game of the season, but it wasn’t a career-high; he had 24 points in game 82 last year. This was a fun performance for Tomlin, but it doesn’t mean he should be considered anything more than a dynasty stash.

Mitchell sat out the first leg of this back-to-back, but the added rest didn’t help his efficiency. He had a rough shooting night and set a new season-high for turnovers. Mitchell redeemed his night by getting to the free throw line early and often, which is where he accounted for nearly half his points. Still, it’s difficult to be overly critical of a 30-point performance. He’ll look to close out the week on a high note against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

While George didn’t produce the best field-goal percentage on Wednesday, fantasy managers will undoubtedly take the rebounds, assists and steals. The nine assists were a career-high for the second-year wing, who is ranked just outside the top-50 in eight-cat formats. Sarr finished Wednesday’s defeat with his second consecutive double-double and fourth of the season. The second-year center has also scored 20 points or more in five games, as he continues to exceed the expectations of most fantasy managers. Sarr is providing second-round value in eight-cat formats, well ahead of his Yahoo! ADP (83). About the only thing that would derail Sarr at this point would be an injury. With the Wizards rebuilding, his playing time will be secure for the entire season.

Hunter extended his streak of 20-point games to three on Wednesday, needing just 28 minutes to accomplish such. The three-point shot, once again, failed him, but his near-perfection from inside the arc helped him finish as one of two Cavaliers to cross the 20-point mark. Hunter has enjoyed a strong season thus far as a scorer — if he can find his rhythm from three-point land, he’ll be an even more impactful player in fantasy leagues.

Ball had a nice offensive outing against the Heat. He was productive and efficient from beyond the arc, and made sure to get his teammates involved by utilizing his facilitating skills — the three-point shooting led to a season-high in points, and he tied a season-high in assists. With three of Cleveland’s regular starters out, Allen logged his most impressive performance of the season against the Heat. He reached the 30-point mark for the first time and tallied double-digit made field goals for the second time. Allen had entered Wednesday’s contest shooting a career-worst 58.6 percent from the field, but his efficient 60.0 percent shooting on high volume should add a nice boost to his season-long numbers. Nine of Mobley’s 11 rebounds were of the offensive variety, and he also dished out five assists. Monday’s overtime defeat was the Cavaliers forward’s first this season with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Mobley, who had a Yahoo! Mitchell struggled with his three-point shot on Monday, shooting 3-of-16. However, his third triple was an improbable shot with four-tenths of a second remaining in overtime that appeared destined to force a second extra session. Andrew Wiggins had other ideas, taking advantage of a botched switch to dunk home the winner as time expired. Of greater importance to Mitchell and the Cavaliers is that Darius Garland left Monday’s game in the third quarter after injuring the left big toe, which was operated on during the spring. Unsurprisingly, Sarr struggled on the glass against Cleveland’s tandem of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. However, the second-year center shot over 50 percent from the field and recorded four blocks, continuing to make strides on both ends of the floor. Sarr’s start to the season has been very encouraging, but there’s still room for improvement. Can he be a top-50 fantasy player for the entire season? Yes. Having shot 3-of-19 from the field and 1-of-10 from three in his two previous games, McCollum was looking to snap out of that funk. Mission accomplished, as he shot 50 percent from the field and led the Wizards in scoring. Thirteen of his 16 shot attempts were from beyond the arc, and he has a three-point attempt rate of nearly 55 percent through nine games. With Bilal Coulibaly unavailable due to injury, Johnson made his first career start on Friday. While he certainly would have preferred to do so in a win, the rookie guard had a good night on the offensive end of the floor. Johnson provided solid value in points, three-pointers and field-goal percentage, although he was just 1-of-3 from the foul line.
