After spending the last three seasons on two-way contracts, Jackson has been rewarded with a standard deal. In the short term, Friday’s development ensures that he’ll be active for the remainder of the 2025-26 season. If the Pacers were to shut down Andrew Nembhard or T.J. McConnell, Jackson is one of the guards with “silly season standout” potential. He isn’t a must-add player currently, but fantasy managers in 14-team leagues should keep an eye on Jackson.

George did not play in Thursday’s loss to the Hawks, which led to Will Riley moving into the starting lineup. Johnson was one of four players to score 14 points for Washington in this game, but his came efficiently in just 20 minutes. The rookie made his third ever start in place of Kyshawn George, who was sidelined with a left knee contusion. Riley set a new career high for rebounds, which led to the first double-double of his career. Potter has been on fire recently, scoring in double figures in six of his last seven games. After scoring a career-high 23 points on Tuesday, he followed that up by setting a new career high for three-pointers in this game. Toppin made his return after a four-month absence and was immediately inserted into the started unit. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said before the game that his minutes would be managed, but he only ended up playing eight minutes in the first half before sitting out the rest of the game. Young and Sarr were re-evaluated this week, and neither player is particularly close to a return to game action. And in the case of the former, he has yet to make his Wizards’ debut. Thursday’s game will be Toppin’s first since October 26, when he injured his right foot against the Timberwolves. During his pregame availability, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said that Toppin’s minutes will be limited on Thursday and for the rest of the season. The rookie had some excellent performances prior to the All-Star break, but he had struggled recently. However, he was one of the few bright spots in a blowout loss.
