Holmgren is back after sitting out Friday’s win over the Bulls with a right hip contusion. Sunday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Thunder, who host the Pistons on Monday, so Chet could miss that one. Holmgren’s return on Sunday will push Cason Wallace to the bench, lowering the young guard’s fantasy ceiling.

Coulibaly had a strong scoring effort in this game, though he was limited to 19 minutes and didn’t play the final 18 minutes of this game. He has certainly shown some scoring prowess in recent weeks, though his minutes have been limited as Washington continues to prioritize improved lottery odds. Coulibaly should be an intriguing option in fantasy drafts next season, but his impact for the rest of this year will be limited.

Riley has been playing big minutes for Washington for a while now, but he was pushed to the bench for this game. However, it ended up being one of his best performances of the year, and he ended up having one of his most efficient shooting performances of the season. Riley should continue to be productive as the season comes to a close, though he may not be able to maintain this level of efficiency moving forward.

Williams’ eight assists were two shy of his season-high, which he last recorded in a January 15 win over the Rockets. J-Dub shot 50 percent from the field, finishing a blocked shot and a three-pointer shy of a complete stat line. Unfortunately for Williams and the fantasy managers rostering him, injuries have limited his impact for most of this season. But all will be forgotten if he can get on a roll during these fantasy playoff weeks.

While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander failed to find his groove from deep, missing all 10 of his three-point attempts, Wallace picked up the slack. He made five of his seven attempts from beyond the arc, with the five triples being two shy of his career-high. Entering Friday, Wallace shot 5-of-27 from distance, so this performance was clearly needed. The Thunder host the Knicks on Sunday to end their Week 22 schedule.

Gilgeous-Alexander extended his streak of games with at least 20 points, but Friday night was a struggle. The reigning league MVP missed all ten of his three-point attempts in his worst shooting night of the season. A solid night at the foul line boosted Gilgeous-Alexander’s point total, but he’ll look to be much better when the Thunder host the Knicks on Sunday.

Black may not have done much scoring on Wednesday, but the overall line would have category league managers salivating if recorded by a more established player. In six prior appearances this season, he totaled three steals and four blocks. Against the Jazz, Black was responsible for three steals and three blocks while also recording seven rebounds, three assists and three three-pointers. Since Black is not guaranteed to be active every night as a two-way contract player, he should not be rostered in redraft leagues.

Hardy has reached double figures in each of his last five games, putting up 20 or more in the last two. Reese fell one point shy of a 20/10/5 stat line, but few fantasy managers are going to lose any sleep over that. The rookie wing’s double-double was his second as a pro, and he posted the numbers on solid percentages. Also, Riley combined with fellow rookie Julian Reese to become the first Wizards rookie duo to post double-doubles in the same game since John Wall and Jordan Crawford on March 23, 2011, against the Clippers.

While Reese started four of his first five games as a Wizard, Wednesday was his first appearance since March 16 due to his status as a two-way contract player. The rookie forward made the most of his opportunity, scoring a season-high 26 points while grabbing 17 rebounds. Reese’s opportunities depend on the availability of Alex Sarr and Tristan Vukčević, both of whom were out on Wednesday. The next time that happens, fantasy managers should not hesitate to stream Reese.

The Thunder did not get much production from players not named Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on Wednesday, including Holmgren. The ten points were the fewest he’s scored in a game in a month, having tallied seven points in a February 24 win over the Raptors. In his prior five appearances, Dort shot a combined 6-of-33 from the field overall and 5-of-26 from beyond the arc. To say he needed a night like Wednesday would be a serious understatement. While Gilgeous-Alexander managed to extend his 20-point streak by halftime, he did not attempt a free throw during the first half. The reigning MVP was a frequent visitor to the line after the intermission, which factored into him surpassing 30 points for the third time in five games. After racking up eight assists in a March 14 loss to the Celtics, Carrington totaled ten in the four games that followed. While that stretch included a 30-point night, Bub’s growth as a playmaker for others is one of the key storylines for the Wizards over the last month of the season. Due to the many absences from the Wizards’ rotation, Hardy was given more room to contribute offensively on Sunday. A double-digit scorer in four straight and seven of his last eight appearances, the 25 points are a new season-high for the fourth-year guard.
