He’s the lone Magic player ranked within the top-100 in eight- and nine-cat formats, closing in on top-50 value in the former. Counting Friday, Wagner has scored 20 points or more in seven of nine games, with Friday’s tally matching his previous high. Orlando ends Week 3 with another game against the Celtics on Sunday, but that contest will not have NBA Cup implications.

After scoring 24 points in an October 27 loss to the 76ers, Bane fell into a four-game funk in which he averaged 8.8 points on 31.6 percent shooting. His ejection during the third quarter of Tuesday’s loss to the Hawks may have been the low point, and the Magic guard rebounded nicely on Friday. Bane established a season-high point total while equaling his previous high in assists. As he gets more comfortable with the new system and teammates, look for Bane to have more nights like Friday than Tuesday.

Unsurprisingly, Sarr struggled on the glass against Cleveland’s tandem of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. However, the second-year center shot over 50 percent from the field and recorded four blocks, continuing to make strides on both ends of the floor. Sarr’s start to the season has been very encouraging, but there’s still room for improvement. Can he be a top-50 fantasy player for the entire season? Yes. But, for those who don’t believe in Sarr that much, now would be a good time to see what selling high can fetch on the trade market.

Having shot 3-of-19 from the field and 1-of-10 from three in his two previous games, McCollum was looking to snap out of that funk. Mission accomplished, as he shot 50 percent from the field and led the Wizards in scoring. Thirteen of his 16 shot attempts were from beyond the arc, and he has a three-point attempt rate of nearly 55 percent through nine games. When the shots are falling at a solid clip, as they were on Friday, that’s a nice deal for those who have McCollum rostered.

With Bilal Coulibaly unavailable due to injury, Johnson made his first career start on Friday. While he certainly would have preferred to do so in a win, the rookie guard had a good night on the offensive end of the floor. Johnson provided solid value in points, three-pointers and field-goal percentage, although he was just 1-of-3 from the foul line. Johnson’s value at this point in the season hinges on the availability of players like Coulibaly, but the rookie certainly has the potential to be a “silly season” standout.

While it’s still early in the 2025-26 season, Sarr’s progress from Year 1 to Year 2 has been impressive. He was one of the few bright spots in Wednesday’s blowout loss, continuing an excellent run to begin the season. Sarr is providing top-25 value in nine-cat formats thus far, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a fantasy manager who expected this level of production. While some may be tempted to sell high, his role is such that Sarr can still provide excellent value, and he won’t be a shutdown risk on this rebuilding team.

Coulibaly is dealing with tightness in his lower left leg, and with the Wizards down big, there’s no reason to risk anything. He played 16 minutes, finishing with one point (0-of-5 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), two rebounds and three assists. Rookies Tre Johnson and Will Riley should see plenty of time during the fourth quarter, with the former being the more valuable player if Coulibaly misses time.

The Magic continue to be one of the worst three-point shooting teams in the league, which gives da Silva a chance to carve out a larger role moving forward. It feels like only a matter of time before he start to capitalize on the wide open looks Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner’s playmaking should generate.
