Rhoden missed Sunday’s game with a hand injury and could miss a second-straight game on Tuesday. However, since dropping a career-best 25 points on March 12, Rhoden hasn’t appeared in a game for the Raptors, though he has spent time in the G League. Unfortunately, his status for Tuesday’s game will continue to not impact their rotation.

Toronto will continue to alternate rest days, and IQ and Poeltl will be back after sitting out on Sunday. Their returns will push Jamal Shead and Orlando Robinson back to the bench. They’ll be resting RJ Barrett and Ochai Agbaji for this game, so there will still be minutes off the bench for Shead and Robinson, though their upside will be limited in comparison to Sunday’s game.

The Wizards continue to limit Poole’s minutes. In a game Washington lost by just three points, the 25-year-old shooting guard played only 21 minutes. Poeltl led all scorers, and he reached that mark on an efficient 12-of-14 shooting. The 24 points are his most since he scored 25 on January 3, though the big man has dropped at least 20 points in three of his last six. Over the Raptors’ last 12 games, Poeltl has alternated between playing and resting, and Toronto is expected to keep going with that song and dance to close out the 2024-25 campaign. Poole played just 25 minutes again Thursday. It was his sixth-straight game with less than 30 minutes and fourth in that span with 25 minutes or less. While the Wizards clearly aren’t pushing Poole for heavy minutes at this point in the season, they at least had good reason for his usage on Thursday as they were party to a massive blowout. So, while he has reached double figures in all but one game he’s appeared in this season, the availability has done fantasy managers no favors. Barnes had a tough night shooting-wise, but he has connected on 47 percent of his shots over the past two weeks. That has been an encouraging development for a player shooting 44.5 percent for the season. Something that may be helping is the decrease in three-point attempts. Barnes has been averaging three attempts per game since the All-Star break, a drop of nearly two attempts per game compared to his three-point frequency before. He isn’t a good perimeter shooter, and taking fewer shots from that range may boost his overall numbers.

The 23 points were two shy of his season-high, and Robinson finished with his fourth double-double. However, he entered Wednesday having scored 19 points in his prior three games. This performance was a departure from the norm for Robinson, who’s ranked outside the top 200 over the past two weeks.
