Anthony picked up his second technical foul when he dismissively waved at an official after being called for a foul. He finished with three points (1-of-4 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), two rebounds and five assists in 13 minutes off the bench. Anthony’s exit means the Bucks will likely finish Saturday’s game with a nine-man rotation instead of ten.

Initially questionable for Tuesday’s game, Anthony will be available to contribute off the bench. Ryan Rollins, who has started for the injured Kevin Porter Jr., may lose out on a few minutes, but his place within the rotation will be unchanged. At best, Anthony is a streaming option in deeper leagues because there are only five games on Tuesday’s schedule.

Anthony missed Sunday’s game, and with Kevin Porter Jr. (ankle) sidelined, Ryan Rollins took on most of the point guard minutes and had a productive night. With KPJ still out, Anthony’s status will impact Rollins’ minutes, but Rollins will get another start regardless.

Added to the Bucks’ injury report on Sunday morning, Anthony will not be available for the first matchup of the season with the Cavaliers. With Kevin Porter Jr. (ankle) already out, Ryan Rollins becomes an even more important option, and he is worth streaming. Amir Coffey should play more minutes, but he is not worth the risk in fantasy leagues. Giannis Antetokounmpo will likely be more of an initiator on offense with the Bucks down a few ballhandlers.

Two days removed from a stellar 24-point performance against the Raptors, Anthony was added to the Bucks’ injury report on Sunday due to an illness. While he did not replace Kevin Porter Jr. (ankle) in the lineup on Friday, Anthony has added importance to the Bucks’ rotation in KPJ’s absence. Amir Coffey, who logged three minutes against Toronto, may have to play more if Anthony joins Porter on the sideline. Coffey would not be worth the streaming risk.

Anthony played 27 minutes off the bench with Kevin Porter Jr. (ankle) out. The 25-year-old point guard filled in well with 23 points on 14 attempts and seven assists with only one turnover. Anthony will continue to see more minutes if Porter Jr.'s injury lingers and he’s rostered in just five percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Anthony, who was traded to the Grizzlies as part of the deal that sent Desmond Bane to Orlando, clearly was not going to be in Memphis’ plans next season. He’s reportedly agreed to a contract buyout and has already found his next home once he clears waivers. Anthony is reportedly headed to Milwaukee, which needs additional depth on the perimeter. Even if Damian Lillard were not waived, the Bucks would be in a difficult spot since he’s recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon. For Anthony, moving to Milwaukee allows him to earn rotation minutes, but his game is not exactly fantasy-friendly.

While it was reported earlier Monday that Jackson and the Grizzlies have agreed to a five-year, $240 million extension, they need to free up some room to finalize the deal. That’s where Anthony, acquired from Orlando as part of the Desmond Bane trade, comes into the equation. With their perimeter depth, the Grizzlies won’t have much room for Anthony to fit into the rotation. According to Charania, the Grizzlies are working with the guard and his representation, allowing him to find his next team in a move that would free up cap space for Memphis.

Memphis and Orlando have reportedly made a significant trade, with the former bidding farewell to a key member of its core. Anthony is one of the players the Grizzlies have received in exchange for Bane, adding another point guard to the mix. And a change of scenery may be what the doctor ordered for Anthony, as the 2024-25 campaign was the worst of his NBA career to date. In 67 appearances, the 2020 first-round pick averaged 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in 18.4 minutes. Even when the Magic were without Jalen Suggs, Anthony was not productive enough to merit being a consistent fantasy streamer. At best, he’ll back up Ja Morant in Memphis, and the Grizzlies also have Scotty Pippen Jr. under contract for the 2025-26 season.

On a night when starting guards Cory Joseph (5/5/2 with one three-pointer) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (nine points, two assists, one block and one three-pointer) combined to shoot 4-of-14 from the field, the Magic received vital contributions from both “Anthonys.” Cole shot well over 50 percent from the field in scoring his 26 points. His highlights included a 4-of-6 fourth quarter in which he made three three-pointers. Anthony Black also had a big night off the bench, but Cole is the more capable scorer. He’ll need to play to this level consistently if the Magic are to have a chance of upsetting Boston in the first round. Game 1 will be on Sunday.

Sidelined for nine of Orlando’s last 10 games with a toe injury, Anthony returned to the rotation on Tuesday. He was used in a reserve role, as the team is taking a cautious approach after an aggravation of the initial toe injury sidelined Anthony for seven of those nine games. He filled the stat sheet, but those who have him rostered took a hit in the field goal percentage category. Anthony’s return meant fewer minutes for Cory Joseph (6/2/1 with two three-pointers) and Anthony Black (4/2/3/3), who played 18 and 20 minutes, respectively. The Magic play their final game of Week 22 in Washington on Thursday, so managers who have any of these guards rostered will want to free up that roster spot for the weekend.

Following a seven-game absence, Anthony will be back to take on San Antonio. He had been a consistent starter at point guard, but he came off the bench in the last game he played, which was a return from a two-game absence. Anthony will come off the bench in this one, allowing Cory Joseph to continue to start. However, Joseph and Anthony Black will lose out on minutes with Anthony available.

Head coach Jamahl Mosley said Anthony is “trending in the right direction,” which doesn’t provide much clarity. He was listed as questionable instead of doubtful ahead of Monday’s game, which is a stronger indicator that a return is close. Orlando will play in San Antonio on Tuesday on the second night of a back-to-back, which will be Anthony’s next chance to suit up. Cory Joseph will continue to start at center, with Anthony Black filling out the backup minutes.

Anthony was originally listed as doubtful, but he was able to get in some individual work during shootaround. Cory Joseph will continue to start at point guard as Anthony misses his fifth-straight game. However, Anthony Black has been a more productive option off the bench.

Still doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks, Anthony did not participate in shootaround with his teammates. However, the Magic guard did get in some individual work and shooting. Cory Joseph has been Anthony’s replacement in the starting lineup, but Anthony Black has offered a higher fantasy ceiling. Rostered in 10 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the latter has provided 10th-round value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks.

Anthony has missed Orlando’s last six games with a strained left big toe. Given the doubtful tag, he’s likely to miss a seventh on Thursday. Cory Joseph and Anthony Black will continue to share the point guard responsibilities, with the former being Anthony’s replacement in the starting lineup.

Tuesday’s game will be the sixth Anthony missed since aggravating his strained left big toe. While Cory Joseph will remain in the starting lineup, whoever has the “hot hand” between him and Anthony Black will play the lion’s share of the minutes. Black was that player on Monday, accounting for 17 points and six assists in 30 minutes off the bench. Neither he nor Joseph has been consistent enough to merit being streamed in most leagues.

Of Orlando’s last six games, including Monday against LA, Anthony has been available just once, and he exited that game after playing six minutes. Anthony has missed five games since aggravating his toe injury during a March 16 win over the Cavaliers. Cory Joseph has been the starter in Anthony’s absence but has not provided reliable fantasy value. Even if Anthony remains out, there isn’t much to gain from rostering Joseph in most leagues.

With Anthony not participating in Tuesday’s practice of Wednesday’s pregame shootaround, the writing regarding his availability was on the wall. His absence means Cory Joseph will remain in the starting lineup, but he’s only worth a look in extremely deep leagues.

While Anthony remains questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Rockets, he did not practice on Tuesday and sat out Wednesday’s pregame shootaround. That doesn’t bode well for his chances of playing against the Rockets. Cory Joseph has started Orlando’s last three games, but the veteran point guard has offered minimal streaming value.

While officially listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game, Anthony did not practice on Tuesday. Cory Joseph will likely start regardless of Anthony’s status, as that was the case in Sunday’s win over the Cavaliers. Joseph offers a limited fantasy ceiling, even if he remains in the starting lineup.

Anthony sat for two games before logging only six minutes in Sunday’s win over Cleveland. A missed practice on Tuesday means Anthony should be considered questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Rockets. If Anthony is ultimately ruled out, Cory Joseph could see increased run.
