Allen continues to flourish, with the double-double being his fourth in as many games and sixth since the Cavaliers acquired James Harden. While Evan Mobley (12/7/1/1 with one three-pointer) being under a minutes limit has been a factor, that doesn’t nullify the work that Allen has done. Since the trade, he has provided top-50 per-game value in nine-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster, while sitting just outside of that threshold in eight-cat. With the Cavaliers visiting the Bucks on Wednesday, Mobley may sit for injury management reasons. If so, Allen’s fantasy ceiling will be raised.

Allen has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the James Harden trade, as he’s been fed the ball consistently. Of course, only one of the five games played since the trade included Allen and Evan Mobley in the lineup, but the former still recorded a double-double in Thursday’s win over the Nets. He put up an even more impressive double-double against the Cavaliers on Friday. Over the past two weeks, Allen has been a top-25 player in nine-cat formats.

For the first time since the Cavaliers acquired James Harden, both of their talented post players were in the starting lineup. The good news for Allen managers is that Evan Mobley’s return didn’t keep the center from recording a double-double with three “stocks.” The sample size is just one game against an overmatched opponent, but it bodes well for those hoping to get consistent value from Allen in the fantasy playoffs.

Allen has scored at least 21 points in each of the last three games, which aligns with the acquisition of James Harden. The two have established immediate chemistry, which has raised Allen’s fantasy ceiling in the short term. The question now is what happens when Evan Mobley (calf) returns, which is expected to happen on February 19 against the Nets.

It seems that Allen is going to enjoy playing with James Harden. Through two games with Harden in Cleveland, Allen is averaging 25.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. This was his fourth straight double-double, and Cleveland has won all four games. Allen is in the midst of arguably his best stretch of production this season, and he’ll look to stay hot against the Wizards on Wednesday.

On Saturday, Allen had his ninth career game with at least 25 points while shooting at least 90 percent from the field. He trails only Wilt Chamberlain all-time with 12. Allen has now had at least 29 points in two of his last three games. The 27-year-old center has provided second-round per game value over the last two weeks, according to Basketball Monster.

Allen became one of five players in league history, joining Joel Embiid, Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Joe Barry Carroll, with 40 points, 17 rebounds, five assists, two steals and four blocks or better in a game. It was an absolutely dominating performance from the 27-year-old center, who carried the Cavaliers to victory with Evan Mobley (calf) still sidelined. There was no better way for Allen to close out Week 15 for his fantasy managers.

With Evan Mobley (calf) unavailable, Allen had a little more room to operate in the frontcourt. While the result wasn’t an offensive explosion, the 17 points equaled his total in Cleveland’s prior two games. Of course, fantasy managers will want more from Allen defensively, but 17 and nine isn’t a bad effort from the 6-foot-9 center.

Allen put together a monster double-double effort in his return to Cleveland’s lineup after missing Sunday’s loss to the Pistons due to illness. The 27-year-old big man came up just shy of his sixth 20-point performance of the season as he played a season-high 33 minutes against Indiana’s lackluster frontcourt. He’s delivered eighth-round fantasy value this season, averaging 13.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks through 26 games.

Upgraded from questionable to probable earlier Tuesday, Allen is officially available for Cleveland’s matchup with the Pacers. His return means that Sam Merrill will be bumped to the bench, with his already-low fantasy ceiling taking a hit.

Allen sat out Sunday and was replaced by Sam Merrill in the starting five. Merrill will likely retreat to the bench with Allen expected to play, and Wade could see a bump in playing time with Jaylon Tyson (illness) listed as questionable.

Allen missed Sunday’s loss to the Pistons with an illness. Sam Merrill started in his place and had 15 points. Allen is questionable for Tuesday’s game with an illness, but has plenty of time to recover before tip-off against the Pacers.

Allen was initially questionable for Sunday’s game, and his absence opens up a spot in the Cavaliers’ starting lineup. With Dean Wade also out, the Cavaliers may turn to De’Andre Hunter or Nae’Qwan Tomlin to fill the resulting void. Also, Evan Mobley shifts from power forward to center.

Allen has not missed a game since December 14, as he was returning from multiple finger injuries. With Sam Merrill and Dean Wade both questionable for Sunday’s game, the Cavaliers may once again look to Jaylon Tyson to step in as a starter. The second-year wing’s production has been good enough to merit being rostered in some 12-team formats.

Allen hadn’t even scored 20 points in his last 12 games, but dropped 27 points in the victory over the Spurs on Monday. It’s the most points Allen has had in a game since scoring 30 on November 12 against the Heat. He rose to the challenge against the Spurs and center Victor Wembanyama, adding 10 rebounds as well. The Cavaliers will be back in action Wednesday against the Suns for the second game of a four-game week.

For the first time since Nov. 12, Allen finished with a double-double. It has been a rough season for him, and a finger injury that forced him to miss nine games didn’t help. Allen is typically the epitome of consistency, but that hasn’t been the case so far this season. He’ll look to build off this while Evan Mobley (calf) is sidelined, which will hopefully help his get back on track and get back to being a reliable fantasy option.

After playing 22 minutes in his first game back from a finger injury on Sunday, Allen logged 28 minutes against the Bulls and was more productive overall. With Evan Mobley (calf) out for a few weeks, there should be more room for Allen to operate in the post. However, he attempted only nine shots against the Bulls, and the volume could prove problematic. With Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland commanding the ball, Allen’s ceiling isn’t as high since he rarely looks to do anything scoring-wise from outside of 15 feet.

Allen made his return to Cleveland’s lineup following a six-game absence dating back to November 28 due to a finger injury. The 27-year-old big man was limited to just 22 minutes and hoisted just eight field goals. It’s been a bit of a lost season for him so far but the positive news is that he’s healthy and back in the mix as the Cavaliers attempts to get back on track without Evan Mobley (calf) for a couple weeks.

Allen is on track to make his first appearance since November 28, and it would come at an excellent time for the Cavaliers. With Evan Mobley (calf) out for at least two to four weeks, Allen would possess a higher fantasy ceiling as the lone post player in the starting lineup. If he remains out on Sunday, expect to see plenty of Dean Wade and Thomas Bryant.

While Allen fully participated in Tuesday’s practice, he still has not reached the point where he can play in games. Evan Mobley will continue to start at the center position, which raises his fantasy ceiling. Also, Jaylon Tyson is worth a look in deeper leagues since he has moved into the starting lineup.

Allen has missed five straight and eight of Cleveland’s last nine games, but his participation in practice suggests he’s got a chance to take the court for Cleveland’s next game. The Cavs don’t play again until Friday, which gives Allen plenty of time to recover. If Allen is cleared to play, he could reclaim his starting spot from Jaylon Tyson. Sam Merrill (hand) hasn’t played since November 17, and he did not participate in practice.

After a three-game absence, Allen has been cleared to return to the Cavaliers’ lineup. His presence means Jaylon Tyson will head back to the bench, where the second-year wing’s fantasy ceiling is lowered. However, Tyson is worth holding onto in deeper leagues until Max Strus is healthy enough to make his season debut.

Allen has missed Cleveland’s last three games with a strained right middle finger. His time away from game action may conclude on Friday, as the center is considered probable. Jaylon Tyson has been the replacement in the starting lineup, with Evan Mobley serving as the lone post player. Tyson has played well enough to merit being rostered in deep leagues, even if he comes off the bench.

Sunday’s game will be the second that Allen has missed with a strained right middle finger. Jaylon Tyson replaced him in the starting lineup for Friday’s win over the Pacers, logging 27 minutes. The second-year wing should take on a similar workload on Sunday, with Dean Wade’s playing time also receiving a boost.

There’s been no word as to what changed, but Allen is now out less than an hour after it was reported that he would play. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, which Darius Garland could fill since he’s available. If that were to happen, Nae’Qwan Tomlin would remain with the starters, shifting Evan Mobley to the center position.
