Anderson has only appeared in three games this season, surpassing 12 minutes once. His absence on Monday will not impact fantasy basketball, but it may ensure some of Utah’s younger wings additional minutes, most notably Brice Sensabaugh.

Making his first official appearance for the Jazz, Anderson logged 25 minutes. Given Utah’s youth, that was surprising to say the least. Anderson’s playing time came at the expense of Kyle Filipowski (two points, two rebounds and one assist in 10 minutes), who played the first eight minutes and did not return until the outcome was no longer in doubt. The minutes split was an eye-opening development given Filipowski’s ceiling, especially when compared to Anderson’s. Filipowski didn’t play well in his first stint, but fantasy managers must track Utah’s rotation in Sunday’s game against the Hornets.

Anderson played a limited role between the Warriors and Heat last season, and Love’s role was even more limited. Love is headed into his 18th season and could be moved again before the season starts. Anderson doesn’t fit with Utah’s current timeline either, so he could be on the move too. If either player remains with the Jazz, they will likely be culture veterans rather than real threats for playing time.

Anderson was a late addition to the injury report, but he will suit up for Game 4. Slo Mo played six minutes in Game 1 but didn’t see the floor in Game 2 or Game 3. Don’t expect that to change with Miami looking to keep its season alive.

Anderson’s only action in the Heat’s first-round series against the Cavs was six minutes in Game 1. His availability won’t impact Miami’s rotation in Game 4.

Anderson has reached double figures in scoring in three of his last four outings, and Saturday’s double-double was his first since February 13. Since the All-Star break, Slo Mo has been ranked outside the top 250 in eight- and nine-cat formats. While Saturday’s stat line was solid, it should not be considered a good enough reason to add him ahead of Week 23 if your league will be active.
