Anunoby only needed ten official shots from the field to record his first 20-point game in six outings. In fact, since the NBA Cup, he has only recorded two 20-point games. Anunoby doesn’t have to be a prolific scorer to offer excellent fantasy value, but being consistently involved in the offense does raise his ceiling. Despite shooting less than 43 percent from the field, Anunoby has been close to a top-50 player over the past two weeks.

Anunoby recorded his fourth double-double of the season on Friday, but he remains in a shooting slump. Over his last five games, the Knicks’ wing has shot 35.5 percent from the field. The good news for fantasy managers is that Anunoby’s overall production has preserved most of his fantasy value. However, as a top-75 fantasy player during this slump, OG would be far more valuable with improved shooting.

After a first quarter in which he missed all four of his shot attempts, Anunoby flipped a switch in the second. He shot 5-of-7 from the field, with all five makes occurring in the restricted area, and scored 16 points in the period. While the overall field-goal percentage wasn’t good, Anunoby’s overall stat line was one that many fantasy managers will take. He’s only shot 35.6 percent from the field over the past two weeks, which is why he’s ranked outside the top-100 in eight-cat formats during this period.

Anunoby may not have shot the ball as well as he’s capable of, but he came up with some huge plays in crunch time to salvage the victory. After rebounding a Jalen Brunson miss and making two free throws with 29.6 seconds remaining to give New York a one-point lead, his steal of a Trae Young pass on the ensuing possession led to two more free throws. With Josh Hart (ankle) sidelined for New York’s three-game road trip, Anunoby’s production outside of points may receive a boost. If so, that would be great for those who have him rostered.

Anunoby will return following a one-game absence, and he should be expected to slot back into the starting five. With Guerschon Yabusele (illness) questionable, Anunoby could be leaned on more heavily.

New York will be thin at forward on Tuesday, which means Mohamed Diawara should see increased run. Despite a potential uptick in playing time, Diawara is unlikely to do enough to be worth streaming in standard leagues.

Anunoby has shot 41.4 percent from the field over the last two weeks, which explains why his season-long fantasy value has slipped just outside of the top-50. However, Sunday’s performance was good, as he shot 50 percent from the field and recorded a complete stat line. Anunoby and the Knicks play three games in Week 10, starting with the Timberwolves on Tuesday.

Anunoby is good to go after initially being questionable for Thursday’s game. With the Knicks hosting the 76ers on Friday, OG’s minutes may be trimmed coming off of Tuesday’s NBA Cup final victory over the Spurs. Mohamed Diawara and Pacôme Dadiet may play rotation minutes on Wednesday, but neither should be streamed.

Anunoby is one of three starters that is questionable for New York, so there could be some fresh faces in the rotation. Anunoby’s absence would likely allow Mohamed Diawara and Pacôme Dadiet to enter the rotation, though neither would be worth streaming.

Anunoby is averaging 16.2 points per game this season, but has now scored at least 21 points in three of his last four games. The 28-year-old small forward has made at least three three-pointers in three of his last four games as well. Anunoby’s shooting seems to be coming around since retiring from a hamstring injury. The Knicks have other offensive options, but Anunoby continues to show he’s reliable and has a higher offensive ceiling than he’s shown for most of the season so far.

Anunoby recorded his sixth 20-point game of the season on Saturday, with the 24 being the most he’s scored since November 5 and two shy of his season-high. Since returning from a strained hamstring, the Knicks forward/guard has provided top-50 per-game value in eight-cat formats. While Tuesday’s NBA Cup final will not count toward official stats or fantasy basketball, the Knicks play three games over the final four days of Week 9.

Anunoby’s return on Friday will mark his first appearance since November 4, when he was injured early in a game against the Heat. His return will also provide the Knicks with reliable shooting and defense from the forward position, as the team looks to put together back-to-back wins. He’s been productive across several categories and should remain a nice option for fantasy managers regardless of the league type.

This is the first time that Anunoby has been considered questionable for a game since straining his hamstring during a November 14 loss to the Magic. So, even if he does not play on Friday, a return to action may not be far away. Either Miles McBride or Josh Hart will head to the bench once Anunoby is healthy enough to play, with the former being the more likely option.

Anunoby left Friday’s game against the Heat after only five minutes with a hamstring injury. The 28-year-old small forward is now set to miss the next two weeks, at which point he’ll be re-evaluated. Josh Hart figures to move into the starting lineup with Anunoby out and should see a bump in fantasy value. Landry Shamet is also a candidate for more minutes off the bench based on his recent play.

Anunoby only played about five minutes before his early exit. Josh Hart checked in for Anunoby when he left the game, but Landry Shamet is another candidate to take on extra minutes if Anunoby remains out beyond this game.

While he did provide solid overall value on Tuesday, Anunoby had his worst perimeter shooting performance of the season. The Knicks forward/guard shot 1-of-10 from distance, but the ability to finish inside the arc boosted his point total. Add in the assists and steals, and all wasn’t lost for Anunoby managers on Tuesday. He’ll look to bounce back on Wednesday when the Magic visit Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks’ wings continue to shine in first-year head coach Mike Brown’s system. Anunoby has scored at least 19 points in four of his last five games, and he finished Sunday’s rout a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Boasting a Yahoo! ADP of 66, he’s close to providing first-round value in 12-team formats. Mikal Bridges, who’s been just as good as Anunoby, contributed 16 points (6-of-8 FGs), one rebound, five assists and four three-pointers on Sunday. Whether the wing tandem can continue to approach first-round value for the entire season is up for debate. Still, Anunoby and Bridges are capable of exceeding their ADPs by a considerable margin.

Anunoby led six Knicks in double figures with 25 points, his fourth game with at least 20 points this season. A top-40 fantasy player last season, he’s providing top-20 value through the Knicks’ first eight games of 2025-26. Anunoby will look to end Week 3 on a high note when the Knicks host the Nets on Sunday in the fourth of seven straight games that New York will play at home.

After totaling 47 points in two games against the Bulls, Anunoby was comparatively quiet offensively in Monday’s win over the Wizards. However, he did record a season-high five steals, two shy of his career-high and one shy of his high as a Knick. Anunoby has picked up right where he left off last season, providing third-round value in nine-cat formats. The Knicks wings have benefited from the changes made by new head coach Mike Brown, with Anunoby and Mikal Bridges (10/2/4/3/2 with two three-pointers) being excellent value picks in fantasy basketball.

After scoring 24 points in the Knicks’ season-opening win over the Cavaliers, Anunoby fell into a three-game slump, averaging 11.0 points on 29.4 percent shooting. One of the few positives from Friday’s disappointing loss was OG breaking that slump, shooting 75 percent from the field and 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. However, the poor shooting in the three games prior did minimal damage to Anunoby’s fantasy value, as he’s still ranked within the top-40 in nine-cat formats.

There was some concern when Anunoby limped off the Madison Square Garden court with 4:57 remaining in the fourth quarter. However, the Knicks wing was cramping and could have returned to the game if needed. Anunoby’s final stat line wasn’t elite from a fantasy standpoint, as he struggled with his shot after flourishing in Wednesday’s win over the Cavaliers. However, he was one of the Knicks’ defensive stars on Friday. Fantasy managers should anticipate Anunoby being available for Sunday’s game against the Heat.

Anunoby was initially listed as probable, so his availability doesn’t come as a surprise. He should occupy his typical spot in the starting lineup, where he had 24 points and 14 rebounds in the season opener.

Anunoby should be available once again after initially being listed as probable ahead of the season opener. He had 24 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block against Cleveland and should play a significant role once again against Boston.

On a night when Karl-Anthony Towns got into early foul trouble, Anunoby stepped up with an outstanding performance. A factor on both ends of the floor, the Knicks forward benefited from the offensive system implemented by new head coach Mike Brown. Playing at a faster pace allowed the Knicks’ wings to have the ball in their hands more, and their stat lines received welcome boosts. Anunoby had an ADP in the sixties, so those who drafted him may receive significant value if OG can build on Wednesday’s performance.

Anunoby is one of many Knicks on the injury report for Wednesday’s opener. However, the probable tag suggests he’ll be cleared to play. He and fellow wing Mikal Bridges are two players who may benefit from being in Mike Brown’s offensive system, as the ball may be in their hands more than last season under Tom Thibodeau. Anunoby finished last season as a top-40 fantasy player and can provide similar production in 2025-26.

Anunoby is a right-handed shooter, so the sprained left hand was not a significant issue in his first action of this preseason. Like fellow starters Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns, he logged 17 minutes on Saturday, and the versatile wing was efficient offensively. Anunoby is one of the players who may benefit from new head coach Mike Brown’s desire to ramp up the pace and ball-movement, whether in transition or the half-court. He finished last season as a top-40 fantasy player, and managers should expect similar production from Anunoby.

Knicks head coach Mike Brown has made one change to the lineup that started Thursday’s win over Philadelphia. Anunoby is available after sitting out the preseason opener with a hand injury, so he assumes his usual starting role, with Pacôme Dadiet returning to the bench. This may be the five that opens the regular season, with Josh Hart assuming the sixth-man role.

Anunoby is dealing with a sprained left hand and will not play in Thursday’s preseason opener. As a result, 2024 first-round pick Pacôme Dadiet will receive the starting nod against the 76ers. Dadiet’s name has come up in trade rumors recently, due to the Knicks’ second apron-induced roster crunch. If the team were to want to keep two of the veterans it signed to camp deals, most notably Landry Shamet and Malcolm Brogdon, they would likely have to trade someone to avoid the second apron. Dadiet has been mentioned due to his likely bringing back the best return in a trade, but he has fans within the organization.

Anunoby was impactful on both ends of the floor Sunday night, but the shot volume may have been a bit low for a player making nearly 67 percent of his attempts. The Knicks wing had four defensive contributions in Game 3, including an emphatic block of an Aaron Nesmith jumper with 3:39 remaining in the fourth quarter and New York leading by four. Sunday’s victory was the latest example of Anunoby not needing to be an offensive focal point to impact the action. He’ll look to do the same in Game 4 on Tuesday.

Anunoby recorded a complete stat line in Friday’s series clincher, emblematic of his impact on both ends of the floor. The four “stocks” were the most he’s recorded in a game since Game 4, when the Knicks wing tallied four steals and one blocked shot. Offensively, Anunoby’s point total was his highest since Game 1, when he scored 29 in the Knicks’ comeback victory. Advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000, New York will host Indiana in Game 1 on Wednesday.
