Achiuwa did a little bit of everything for the Kings on Thursday. On offense, he shot well and finished as one of the team’s leading scorers. And on defense, he was all over the glass in his 34 minutes of game action, with his efforts leading to a double-double. Meanwhile, he was being versatile enough on that end of the floor to combine for six stocks. Thursday’s performance will go down as one of Achiuwa’s most productive of the season — he will have a chance to log another good performance against the Spurs on Saturday.

The only change to the Kings’ starting lineup will be the return of Achiuwa, who was basically out of the rotation for the last three games after starting for half of December and all of January. That will push Daeqwon Plowden, who was productive on Saturday, back to the bench.

Achiuwa was initially questionable for Wednesday’s game. He’ll be in the starting lineup, playing alongside Russell Westbrook, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Maxime Raynaud.

Achiuwa has been starting for the Kings with Keegan Murray (ankle) sidelined. He has had a few strong performances scattered, but the last four games have been his best. During that stretch, he’s averaging 13.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 61.1 percent from the floor. As long as he continues to start, he’ll have upside as a streamer, especially if he continues to play 33.8 minutes per game like he has during this four-game stretch.

Playing against the Knicks for the first time since leaving in free agency over the summer, Achiuwa had his best performance as a King on Wednesday. Recording his third double-double of the season, he tallied season-highs in points and rebounds, finishing with a complete stat line. While Achiuwa has been a fixture in the starting lineup recently, he has barely been a top-150 player over the past two weeks. Fantasy managers should wait to see more from Precious before leaping based on one exemplary performance.

Achiuwa is back in the starting lineup after being relegated to the bench for Friday’s loss to the Warriors. His promotion comes at the expense of Keon Ellis, who may still be worth streaming given Dennis Schröder’s suspension for the next three games.

While most of the focus has been on Maxime Raynaud (eight points, eight rebounds, two assists and one block) recently, and rightfully so, it was Achiuwa who stole the show on Tuesday. Not only did he match his season high with 15 points, but he also set a new high with 11 rebounds. Add in the defensive stats and Tuesday’s performance by Achiuwa, and some may push to add him. Not so fast, as he totaled nine points and eight rebounds in the previous three games. It’s fine to keep an eye on Achiuwa without rushing to pick him up, especially with the Kings off until Saturday.

Achiuwa has not started a game since November 20, but the absence of Domantas Sabonis (knee) has freed up additional minutes for him, among others. The former first-round pick has reached double figures in five of his last seven appearances, but the overall production has not been good enough to merit being rostered in most leagues. Maxime Raynaud (13/9/3 in 23 minutes) made his second straight start on Monday and remains the superior streaming target while the Kings await Sabonis’ return.

While Drew Eubanks (4/10/2/1 in 14 minutes) has filled the void in the starting lineup left by the injured Domantas Sabonis, Achiuwa has been more valuable to fantasy managers over the past week. Rostered in three percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has been five rounds more valuable than Eubanks in nine-cat formats. Neither Achiuwa nor Eubanks should be considered a must-roster player, but the former should be the preferred option for managers in dire need of a post player.

Achiuwa is available for Sunday’s game against the Spurs despite being listed as questionable with an illness. The 26-year-old power forward will be in the starting lineup alongside Domantas Sabonis.

Achiuwa has been starting lately for Sacramento, but if he isn’t available, Nique Clifford should slide into the starting lineup. There’s also a chance Kings coach Doug Christie rolls out a smaller starting unit, which could mean Keon Ellis gets the starting nod.

Sabonis is back after missing two games with a rib contusion, pushing Drew Eubanks to the bench. The other change to the starting lineup is surprising, with Achiuwa replacing Russell Westbrook. The matchup may have something to do with that, as the Kings have to deal with Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert in the frontcourt. Westbrook will play enough to provide solid fantasy value, but this change gives Achiuwa a shot at achieving fantasy relevance.

Sacramento will waive Isaac Jones in a corresponding move. Achiuwa offers frontcourt depth and can make an immediate impact at PF. He’s not on the fantasy radar yet, but managers should keep an eye on his playing time and production.

Miami’s first-round pick in the 2020 draft, Achiuwa, hopes his second stint with the Heat will be more successful than the first. The first order of business for the power forward who spent last season with the Knicks will be to earn a roster spot, as his contract is fully non-guaranteed. In 57 games for the Knicks, Achiuwa averaged 6.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 20.5 minutes. Even if he can make Miami’s opening night roster, Achiuwa faces long odds to become fantasy-relevant in 2025-26.

Initially questionable for Friday’s game, Achiuwa has been upgraded to available. He hasn’t played many minutes in this series, and that’s unlikely to change in Game 6 with a healthy Mitchell Robinson in the fold. The Knicks are looking to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000.

Achiuwa has played a total of 15 minutes in this series, so it’s unclear when he injured his ankle. Head coach Tom Thibodeau has solely relied on Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson at center, so Achiuwa’s status won’t impact New York’s rotation.

Achiuwa is back after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Lakers with a sore hamstring. With Mitchell Robinson unavailable, he’ll slot in behind Karl-Anthony Towns and take on the backup center responsibilities. Achiuwa offers limited fantasy value in this role.

Achiuwa did not play in Thursday’s loss to the Lakers, with Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson playing the available minutes at the center position. However, Robinson will not play on Friday, so Achiuwa will be in the rotation if cleared to play. With Ariel Hukporti (knee) out, the Knicks will likely have to play small in non-Towns minutes if Achiuwa cannot go.

Achiuwa won’t suit up for the first night of New York’s back-to-back in Los Angeles. However, with both Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson available, Achiuwa may not have had a large role regardless. If Robinson sits out the second night of this back-to-back, Achiuwa could be part of the rotation on Friday, though in a limited capacity.

Achiuwa is dealing with tightness in his left hamstring, hence his presence on the injury report. With Karl-Anthony Towns (personal) rejoining the team after missing Tuesday’s loss to the Warriors, Achiuwa will likely fall out of the rotation if he’s cleared to play.

Despite the Knicks requiring overtime to beat the Heat, there wasn’t any room in the rotation for Achiuwa. Karl-Anthony Towns played 40 minutes, and Mitchell Robinson (two points, two rebounds and one blocked shot), in his second game back from offseason ankle surgery, handled the other 13 at the center position. Achiuwa is still rostered in nine percent of Yahoo! leagues, but that should dip lower with Robinson back in the rotation.
