Bona is dealing with a right ankle sprain. The 22-year-old power forward will miss the next three games before being re-evaluated. It’s unclear when Bona will return to the court. With Joel Embiid dealing with a knee injury, Andre Drummond is the next man up for the 76ers.

There’s just one change to the lineup that started Tuesday’s loss to the Bulls. Joel Embiid (knee) is out for injury management reasons, and he’ll be replaced in the lineup by Bona. Bona hasn’t been the most reliable streaming option this season, with Andre Drummond being more productive.

The 76ers are without Joel Embiid for Sunday’s game, as the team is looking to get their star center additional time off whenever possible. He’ll be replaced in the starting lineup by Bona, whose production has been limited this season. However, this is a big opportunity for the second-year center, especially if he can avoid foul trouble.

With Joel Embiid (knee) and Dominick Barlow (elbow) sidelined, Walker and Bona will slide into the starting unit against Orlando. This is the first leg of a back-to-back, so Embiid should be back against Washington on Tuesday, which means this will likely only be a one-game start for Bona, though Walker could remain in this role if Barlow remains out.

With Joel Embiid (knee) sidelined, Thursday’s exhibition was Bona’s most recent audition for the right to serve as the 2023 MVP’s backup once the regular season begins. Early foul trouble was an issue for the 6-foot-10 Bona, who may have played a bit more had he not picked up two fouls in the first quarter. Andre Drummond (two points and three rebounds) only played eight minutes, but he’s a far more proven option than the second-year post out of UCLA. Bona’s energy and athleticism may give him the upper hand in the competition for the backup center role, which has some streaming value due to Embiid’s injury history. But he must avoid the silly fouls to make good on that upside.

Bona came off the bench for Türkiye throughout the nation’s run to Sunday’s EuroBasket final, which is understandable since Alperen Şengün was the starting center. The 76ers’ backup, who played well to end his rookie campaign, played a tournament-high 19 minutes and matched his previous high with 12 points. However, Bona did not offer much production on the glass, as Germany finished with superior offensive and defensive rebounding percentages. Bona’s fantasy value in 2025-26 will depend on the health of Joel Embiid, who isn’t guaranteed to be a full go when training camp begins after having to undergo knee surgery in the spring.

According to BasketNews, Bona’s leg injury is not believed to be serious. He was also on the bench supporting his teammates as Turkey closed out the win in its final EuroBasket tune-up. While Alperen Sengun leads the way in the frontcourt for Turkey, Bona will be another player to watch in the tournament due to his abilities as a rebounder and defender. And given the uncertain status of Joel Embiid as he continues to recover from knee surgery, the 2024 second-round pick out of UCLA may figure more prominently in the 76ers’ plans to begin the 2025-26 season.

On a forgettable night for the 76ers, who lost by a 111-70 final score, Bona was solid as a rebounder and shot-blocker in his 17 minutes on the court. These games in Las Vegas are unlikely to change things for the second-year player once training camp begins, as he’ll compete with Andre Drummond and Johni Broome for backup center minutes. And whoever wins that competition will only have fantasy relevance if the 76ers are without starter Joel Embiid.

Bona was two rebounds and two fouls shy of a triple-double, which is typically only something you see in Summer League, since players can’t foul out. Bona will compete for the backup center minutes with Andre Drummond and Johni Broome, but the only path to fantasy relevance will be if Joel Embiid misses time.

Bona, who was drafted in the second round last summer, has really taken off over the past month. In this game, he shattered his previous career-high of 16 points, which he initially set a few weeks ago. The 22-year-old has thrived in a lost season for Philadelphia, and it has come on both ends of the floor; this was his fifth-straight game with at least three blocks. It’s difficult to imagine Bona playing a significant role next season, though it will depend on Joel Embiid’s availability.

Guerschon Yabusele’s absence on Tuesday led to Bona moving into the starting lineup, and the rookie center filled the stat sheet in 32 minutes played. The combination of rebounding and defensive stats has made Bona a solid fantasy asset as the season winds down. Over the past two weeks, he’s averaging 7.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 3.0 blocks per game. As a result, Bona has offered third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Rostered in 28 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Bona is worth adding, even though the 76ers only play two more games during Week 22.

The 76ers are without Guerschon Yabusele, who has been ruled out with a sore knee. His absence means Bona moves into the starting lineup, and the rookie should be streamed in deep leagues. The other change is Grimes, who returns to the lineup after sitting out Sunday’s loss to the Raptors. The former Knicks first-round pick replaces Jared Butler, who will come off the bench.

Before Saturday’s game, it was reported that Andre Drummond (toe) would miss at least another five games. That put him out of play for Week 22, which boosts Bona’s fantasy value. The rookie was very productive against the Heat, recording his second double-double and blocking three shots for the second straight game. Rostered in 12 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Bona has provided top 50 value in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Despite the 76ers playing three games during Week 22, now is the time to add Bona.

Bona missed Philadelphia’s last five games with a left ankle sprain, and he was able to log 19 minutes in his first game back. Prior to his absence, he scored in double figures in four consecutive games and started in the final game before injuring his ankle. This wasn’t a spectacular performance by any means, but it was good to see Bona back on the floor. Philly has three more games this week, and Bona could certainly make a return to the starting lineup at some point.

Bona will be back after a five-game absence and will split the minutes at center with Guerschon Yabusele. Bona started in his last appearance and scored in double figures in each of his last four games. There is a chance he starts, but he will at least play a significant reserve role.

Bona has missed the last five games with a sprained left ankle, but is likely to return Monday given his probable listing. He and Guerschon Yabusele will split time down low with the 76ers missing Andre Drummond and Joel Embiid.

Bona will miss a fifth straight game with a sprained left ankle. With Andre Drummond and Joel Embiid also out, the 76ers will lean on Guerschon Yabusele in the middle. As for Walker, he played 11 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Spurs after missing four games in the league’s concussion protocol. His absence means more playing time for Ricky Council IV and Jalen Hood-Schifino, with the former offering a higher streaming ceiling.

Bona sprained his ankle during Friday’s loss to the Pacers. While he remained in the game at the time of the injury, that was likely influenced by the 76ers already being down multiple rotation players. Guerschon Yabusele will take on a starring role in the frontcourt with Bona and Drummond out for Sunday’s game. Oshae Brissett and Chuma Okeke will likely play rotation minutes, but neither is a must-add.

With no Andre Drummond, Bona was able to start and play heavy minutes in the middle on Friday. The rookie finished one rebound shy of his second double-double, but the 16 points were a season-high. While Bona has only been a 13th-round player since the All-Star break, the circumstances make him worth adding during the fantasy playoff weeks. At the very least, he’s worth slotting into lineups for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks. Fantasy managers should seek out Guerschon Yabusele first, however. He finished Friday’s loss with five points, 15 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three-pointer in 36 minutes.

With Andre Drummond hampered by an illness, Bona had the best game of his rookie campaign on Sunday. In addition to recording his first double-double, the second-round pick established career-highs in points (14), rebounds (14), steals (two) and blocked shots (five) tonight. Drummond only played 10 minutes, finishing with six points, two rebounds and one blocked shot. With Joel Embiid (knee) done for the season, Bona’s playing time should increase as the 76ers attempt to improve their chances of holding onto their top-six protected first-round pick.
