Biyombo, who was signed in February and finished last season with the Spurs, will return to San Antonio for another year. HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reports that the veteran center’s contract is non-guaranteed. Provided Victor Wembanyama remains healthy, Biyombo’s opportunities to impact fantasy basketball this season will be limited. In 28 appearances for the Spurs in 2024-25, he averaged 5.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in just under 19 minutes per game.

The Spurs are without Jeremy Sochan, who will not play in Tuesday’s game due to back spasms. He’ll be replaced in the starting lineup by Biyombo, who’s worth streaming in extremely deep leagues. Also worth a look is Sandro Mamukelashvili, as he should play more minutes with Sochan and Charles Bassey inactive.

Biyombo returns to the starting lineup after coming off the bench for the Spurs’ last two games. Jeremy Sochan returns to the bench but should still offer deep-league value. That’s the lone change to San Antonio’s starting five.

After recording double-doubles in two losses to the Pelicans, Biyombo provided minimal value in the following three games. He managed to snap out of that funk Tuesday night, with the veteran center recording his best stat line of the season. Biyombo hasn’t been the most reliable option, with Victor Wembanyama done for the season, but he’s worth streaming in deep leagues because he’s a starter. There’s no need to add Biyombo on Wednesday morning, as the Spurs don’t play again until Friday. He’ll be worthy of consideration then.

The Spurs signed Biyombo after Victor Wembanyama was ruled out for the season and now he’ll get to finish out the year with them. It appears like he’ll get a chance to continue starting at center.

Biyombo recorded his second double-double in as many games on Tuesday, with the 12 rebounds being a season-high for the veteran center. While he’s been more productive than any of the Spurs’ other available options with Victor Wembanyama done for the season, Biyombo is on his second 10-day contract. Rostered in 15 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he offers superior streaming value to Sandro Mamukelashvili (two points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block in 12 minutes) or Charles Bassey, who did not play due to a knee injury. However, fantasy managers would be better served to look for Jeremy Sochan (12 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 19 minutes; 42 percent rostered) on their waiver wire before adding Biyombo.
