After scoring 24 points in an October 27 loss to the 76ers, Bane fell into a four-game funk in which he averaged 8.8 points on 31.6 percent shooting. His ejection during the third quarter of Tuesday’s loss to the Hawks may have been the low point, and the Magic guard rebounded nicely on Friday. Bane established a season-high point total while equaling his previous high in assists. As he gets more comfortable with the new system and teammates, look for Bane to have more nights like Friday than Tuesday.

Bane was assessed a Flagrant 1 foul for pulling down Hawks center Onyeka Okongwu as he was going up for a layup. The following action of swatting the ball down onto a prone Okongwu was what prompted the technical foul, leading to Bane’s ejection. Bane finished with nine points (2-of-6 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), one rebound, two assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in 23 minutes.

Bane got off to a sluggish start but caught fire in the second half to finish with 24 points before fouling out with just over two minutes left in the game. The 27-year-old has struggled from three-point range in an extremely small sample size at the outset of his Orlando debut, but has still scored at least 14 points in all four contests. It feels like only a matter of time before he start to capitalize on the wide open looks Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner’s playmaking should generate.

Bane, who was acquired in an offseason trade from the Grizzlies, fit right in during his Magic debut against the Heat on Wednesday. The 27-year-old shooting guard provided some much needed shooting as he knocked down three three-points and all six of his free throw attempts. Bane had 23 points while Paolo Banchero had 24 and Franz Wagner also had 24. Orlando’s Big 3 will be fun to watch all season long and fantasy managers would be happy if that even scoring distribution remained.

After spending the first five seasons of his career in Memphis, Bane was dealt to the Magic this summer, and this was his first opportunity to suit up for them. He only played 13 minutes like most of the other starters, but he’ll continue to be an excellent fantasy option despite the change of scenery, and he’ll provide Orlando with the best spacing they’ve had in a while.

The Magic have long needed an upgrade at the shooting guard position, and they’ve taken a significant swing at addressing the issue with Sunday’s reported trade. In 69 games this season, he averaged 19.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.4 three-pointers, shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 89.4 percent from the foul line. Bane has been one of the best shooting guards in the NBA over the last three seasons, due to the ability to both knock down perimeter shots and defend his position. Given the state of the Eastern Conference, Orlando’s decision to make this move is understandable, as it significantly improves the starting lineup.

Bane did not have the most efficient game, recording five turnovers and shooting 35 percent from the field. However, he went out firing, helping to give Memphis a chance of extending its season. Entering the season with a Yahoo! ADP of 44, Bane finished as a top-40 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. Providing consistent value has rarely been an issue for the Grizzlies’ guard, but his value in 2025-26 will be influenced by who the team hires as its new head coach.

Bane has not been able to get untracked offensively, which is a credit to the Oklahoma City defense. After shooting 10-of-29 from the field in the first two games, the Grizzlies’ guard did not benefit from a return to the friendly confines of FedEx Forum. Add in Ja Morant’s hip injury, and Bane has hit a rough patch at the worst possible time. He did record a complete stat line, but that shooting line isn’t enough for a player of Bane’s caliber. The Grizzlies will look to extend their season on Saturday when they host Game 4 of the series.

While Bane didn’t have a big night scoring the basketball, he found a way to impact the game in other ways. Bane led Memphis in rebounding, was second in total assists, and was the only member of the Grizzlies to notch a double-double in the loss. He’ll have another chance to stuff the stat sheet on Thursday when the Grizzlies take on the Thunder in Memphis for Game 3.

After scoring 30 points in Tuesday’s loss to Golden State, Bane once again had another productive night on the offensive end. He didn’t match his point total from that game, but he didn’t need to. Bane made up for a slightly lower scoring night by matching Ja Morant as the leader in assists in this game. Bane, Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. combined to score 68 of the Grizzlies 120 points in this game. If all three are clicking for their series against the Thunder, they’ll have a chance to win some games.

After scoring at least 24 points in three of his last four regular-season appearances, Bane had another good night on Tuesday. It wasn’t enough to get Memphis into the playoffs, but they’ll have another opportunity to earn their way in on Friday against the Dallas/Sacramento winner. With Ja Morant spraining his right ankle during the third quarter, Bane may be in a position where he must do even more as a scorer than he did on Tuesday.

Bane continues to offer even greater value to fantasy managers when the Grizzlies are without Ja Morant, who was scratched just prior to tip-off with an illness. Bane went on to shoot over 50 percent from the field and score a game-high 38 points. The point total is the highest for him since March 17, when he put up 44 in a loss to the Kings. For Bane managers whose leagues run through Week 23, the Grizzlies play four games, starting with the lowly Hornets on Tuesday.

Bane struggled on the offensive end with 17 points on 23 attempts from the field. The 26-year-old shooting guard was just 1-of-9 from behind the three-point line. It’s the third time in his last five games that he’s made only one three-point attempt. While Bane’s scoring production has been a little inconsistent lately, fantasy managers can take solace that the Grizzlies have a fourth game this week Saturday against the short-handed Pistons.

While Bane’s scoring output has been slightly inconsistent recently, he has still provided sixth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. The 1-of-12 night against Oklahoma City damaged his field goal percentage, with Bane making 44.2 percent of his attempts. However, Bane’s other numbers have been solid, preserving his overall value to category league managers. The good news for Bane managers is that Memphis plays two more games during Week 22, starting with Miami on Thursday.

After a brutal 1-of-12 performance in Thursday’s loss to the Thunder, Bane got back on track against the Lakers. He’s scored 20 points or more in five of his last seven outings, a run that includes a 44-point effort on March 17 against the Kings. Ja Morant returning to the lineup on Saturday likely helped boost Bane’s efficiency, but he is shooting 48.4 percent from the field for the season. Memphis plays four games during Week 22, starting with a Monday/Tuesday home back-to-back against the Celtics and Warriors.

Entering this game, Bane had averaged 29.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 4.3 three-pointers over his last three games, which includes a 44-point performance on Monday to start this week. Everything fell flat on Friday for him, and Memphis dropped a third-straight game. Bane has had plenty of success without Ja Morant in the lineup, but that simply wasn’t the case on Friday. This was the Grizzlies’ final game of the week, and they’ll return to the court in Utah on Tuesday.

Bane was initially listed as questionable, but he will be good to go despite being a late addition to the injury report. He has averaged 29.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 4.3 three-pointers over the last three games.

Bane is a late addition to the injury report, so fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status leading up to tip-off. Ja Morant has already been ruled out, so Bane’s absence could mean more playing time for Jaylen Wells and Scotty Pippen Jr. alongside Luke Kennard and the rest of Memphis’ starting five.

Though he didn’t get much help from his teammates, this was an excellent offensive performance from Bane. He set a new season-high for scoring, and it came after four consecutive games with less than 25 points. Bane scored over a third of the Grizzlies’ points, which wasn’t enough to get the job done against a balanced attack from Sacramento. However, he was able to step up with Ja Morant sidelined with a hamstring injury. If Morant remains out in Portland on Wednesday, Bane could be in for another big night.

When the Grizzlies are without Ja Morant, Bane’s full game tends to be unlocked. That was the case on Saturday, as he shot over 50 percent from the field and finished two assists shy of a triple-double. Since the All-Star break, Bane has provided top 20 value in eight-cat formats and top 25 in nine-cat. The Grizzlies begin a three-game Week 20 in Sacramento on Monday.

Bane recorded his fourth 30-point game of the season on Sunday and efficiently got his points. The Grizzlies guard shot over 50 percent from the field and finished one blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Bane’s fantasy value since the All-Star break has been elite, as he has been a first-round player in 12-team leagues (eight- and nine-cat formats). The Grizzlies play four games during Week 19, starting with the Suns on Monday.

Bane averages six rebounds per game on the season, but has now grabbed at least 10 rebounds in three of his last four games. Not bad for a 26-year-old shooting guard. Bane’s fantasy managers will certainly take a 16-rebound effort Friday against the Mavericks, giving him 32 rebounds in three games so far this week. He has another chance to add to his rebound total for the week Sunday against the Pelicans.

With Ja Morant returning from a shoulder injury, Bane did not have the ball in his hands as often Wednesday night. His value took a hit, as he only recorded one assist while shooting 5-of-14 from the field. Bane has been a top 40 player in eight- and nine-cat formats since the All-Star break, so one subpar night will not crater his value. And games against the Mavericks (Friday) and Pelicans (Sunday) should help Bane rebound before the end of Week 18.

With Ja Morant (shoulder) out for a second straight game, Bane had to take on more playmaking responsibilities on Monday. While he did commit five turnovers, the 30-point triple-double outweighs that negative. Since the break, Bane has provided second-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Whether or not Morant is available, Bane will provide reliable fantasy value. But his ceiling is raised on nights like Monday.

Bane will be available after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Spurs, which was Memphis’ second game in as many nights. He will occupy his usual spot in the starting lineup, but who joins Bane in the backcourt is unknown. Ja Morant (shoulder) is questionable, meaning Scotty Pippen Jr. or Luke Kennard may start alongside Bane.

Bane played 35 minutes in Friday’s loss against the Knicks despite being questionable with a groin injury. Now the 26-year-old shooting guard is questionable with a hip injury Saturday against the Spurs. Vince Williams Jr. and Luke Kennard would be next in line for more minutes if Bane is ruled out, but both of them are listed as questionable as well.

Like his backcourt partner, Ja Morant, Bane had a quiet night from beyond the arc. Memphis’ starting guards combined to shoot 0-of-10 from three, with Bane missing all four of his attempts. The good news for fantasy managers is that he still shot over 50 percent from the field, and an off night from deep did prevent Bane from providing value in other areas. Over the past two weeks, he has provided top-40 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Memphis finishes its Week 17 slate at home against the Spurs on Saturday.
