Bitadze played just 19 minutes Wednesday, but was incredibly efficient with 14 points on seven field goal attempts and nine rebounds. The 26-year-old backup center isn’t worth rostering in most fantasy leagues without an injury to Wendell Carter Jr., but after missing some time to injury this year, Bitadze showed why he’s considered a reliable reserve.

After missing three games with a strained left knee, Bitadze played 16 minutes off the bench in Monday’s loss to the Raptors. Look for him to take on a similar workload on Wednesday. There’s no need to roster him in most redraft leagues.

Bitadze is in danger of missing a fourth straight game. If he does, Jonathan Isaac will fill the backup center minutes, with Wendell Carter Jr. filling out a larger role as the starter without another true center available.

Bitadze will miss a third straight game with a left knee strain. His absence doesn’t change anything for starting center Wendell Carter Jr., but it does mean that Jonathan Isaac will slot in as the backup.

Bitadze has missed the last two games with a left knee strain. If he’s out again Saturday, Jonathan Isaac will serve as the backup to Wendell Carter Jr. Isaac isn’t worth rostering in most fantasy leagues, though.

Bitadze will miss a second straight game as he deals with a strained left knee. Jonathan Isaac should once again slot in as Wendell Carter Jr.'s backup, a role in which he’s unlikely to reach 20 minutes. Isaac can be left on the waiver wire.

Bitadze did not play in Tuesday’s win over the Trail Blazers after injuring his knee the night prior. Jonathan Isaac essentially filled the resulting void, playing 17 minutes off the bench. He’ll have a similar role if Bitadze remains out, but that isn’t enough to affect fantasy basketball.

Bitadze will miss Tuesday’s game with a strained left knee. While the Magic have not offered a timeline, he may miss multiple games. Jonthan Isaac is still questionable; he will likely absorb some of the minutes that would have gone to Bitadze.

Bitadze is back after a one-game absence, but so is starter Wendell Carter Jr. Therefore, there isn’t much to gain from rostering Bitadze in most fantasy leagues, even with only three games on the schedule.

Originally off the injury report, Bitadze has been downgraded to questionable for Tuesday against the 76ers. The 26-year-old center’s status is truly up in the air at this point. As the backup center, his absence wouldn’t significantly impact fantasy basketball.

Initially slated to start for Wendell Carter Jr., Bitadze was scratched from the Magic lineup minutes before tipoff on Sunday against the Celtics. Orlando Robinson filled the void, but he’s likely to be inactive with Bitadze and Carter removed from the injury report. Bitadze will take on his usual backup center role in Philadelphia, which makes him a non-factor in fantasy basketball.

In a brutal turn of events for fantasy managers who may have streamed him, Bitadze was scratched from the Magic starting lineup after the announced tip time. With Wendell Carter Jr. also out, the Magic turn to Orlando Robinson to fill the void. It’s too late to slot him into your lineups, but watch Robinson with an eye toward Week 6 if Carter and Bitadze miss more time.

The Magic are down two starters for Sunday’s game, with Jalen Suggs and Wendell Carter Jr. out. As has been the case in the past, Black will fill the void left by Suggs, and he’s worth streaming in this spot. The other worthwhile streamer is Bitadze, who steps in for Carter.

Used primarily as a reserve, Bitadze is not in a great spot to provide consistent fantasy value. However, Moritz Wagner (knee) is expected to miss the start of the regular season, and starter Wendell Carter Jr. surpassing 60 games played twice in his first seven seasons, there may be streaming opportunities for Goga. He isn’t a player worth drafting, but he should remain on the radar of managers willing to select Carter in their drafts.

Bitadze’s EuroBasket campaign ended early in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s quarterfinal defeat. He was whistled for an unsportsmanlike foul after receiving a technical earlier in the game, prompting his ejection. That was a disappointing end to the tournament for the Orlando Magic center, who played well in helping Georgia reach the quarterfinals for the first time in the nation’s history. However, while the conclusion was suboptimal, playing well against this level of competition is something Bitadze can build on as he prepares for another season in Orlando.

Bitadze has played well for Georgia during EuroBasket, with averages of 18.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 2.0 blocks per game. He’ll continue to play a reserve role behind Wendell Carter Jr. for the Magic this upcoming season, but performances like this are encouraging for his long-term value.

Georgia moves to 1-1 in EuroBasket with this loss to Italy, but that hasn’t prevented Bitadze from having success in the tournament. He has 37 points and three triples through two games, and he’ll continue to carry the offensive load for Georgia. Bitadze likely won’t see this much usage for Orlando next season, but he’ll be an effective reserve with streaming upside.

Bitadze was one of five players to score in double figures as George knocked off reigning EuroBasket champions Spain in the group play opener for both teams. While he hit a crucial fourth-quarter three-pointer (followed by a Sam Cassell-inspired celebration) to help the Georgians pull away, the Orlando Magic center was especially impactful on the offensive glass. Four of Bitadze’s five rebounds were of the offensive variety, and George finished with 16 offensive boards as a team. By comparison, Spain grabbed 18 defensive rebounds. Bitadze is another example of a player who will receive more opportunities with his national team than his NBA squad, as he’ll come off the bench in Orlando. However, in the past, he has been an effective streamer for stretches when the Magic were without Wendell Carter Jr.

“Just when I thought I was out...they pulled me back in.” Bitadze has been ineffective since late January, scoring in double figures four times in 23 appearances. While Wednesday was a good night for Bitadze, fantasy managers should not overreact. Wendell Carter Jr. remains the starter, and he finished with four points, six rebounds and one blocked shot in 19 minutes. Neither Magic center should be rostered in most fantasy leagues.
