Battle did not play in Saturday’s win over the Pacers, and his absence does not impact fantasy basketball since rotation minutes aren’t guaranteed for the second-year forward. More impactful is the status of Ochai Agbaji (back), who’s also questionable for Monday’s game.

Battle was a late addition to the injury report and has now officially been ruled out. His role for Toronto this year has been a minimal one, so his absence won’t have much of an impact on their rotation.

The undrafted rookie wrapped up his first season in the NBA on a high note. Battle set new career highs for both points and three-pointers and became the 48th rookie in league history to hit seven triples in one game. He is the fourth rookie this season to reach that mark, with Bub Carrington, Dalton Knecht and Jaylen Wells also doing it. Battle has played well as part of Toronto’s rotation over the past month, but there likely won’t be minutes for him with the Raptors to start next season.

Quickley, Battle, Mogbo and Poeltl are in the lineup, with Jamal Shead and Orlando Robinson moving to the bench. Also, the Raptors are without Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett.

Battle aggravated a nasal injury he suffered in late February during the first half of Monday’s game and is done for the night. He played 12 minutes off the bench and finished with five points, three rebounds and one three-pointer. Battle’s absence will not impact fantasy basketball, but it will likely mean more playing time for Jared Rhoden and AJ Lawson.

Both players have been sidelined for a little while now, but they will be available to play against Utah. Toronto has been trying to improve their lottery odds, so it wouldn’t be shocking if Temple and Battle were finally part of the rotation. However, that isn’t enough of a reason to consider streaming them.
